Holly had heard of the types of training and had decided that the uh, weapon crafting perhaps sounded the most interesting to her. After all she had a basic idea on how to fight but didn't know much about weapons. Couldn't hurt. She made her way to the Crafter's Den and looked around. There were piles of raw materials. For a moment she watched a few other students work on there ... knives. Yeah, that's what they kind of looked like. The ghoul was determined to make an awesome one on her first try. How hard could it really be?

It was time to get to work on her own weapon, er knife. Since there wasn't any proper instruction she just went about grabbing whatever looked best for her knife. It seemed you had to make it out of something, the main part that would actually cut another. Holly went to the area that had materials and grabbed some Seashells. That would work she decided. It looked sharp and was also just neat looking in her opinion. And that's how you decide to evaluate a weapon, on it's neatness.
She supposed that the seashell wasn't really shaped must like a knife though and spent some time just crafting. Eventually she got a semi-knife shape from the seashell, along with a part to hold onto. Which cut into her a bit when she help the knife. Holly looked around and saw other students wrapping something around the hilt. Ah, so it wouldn't cut you, got it. She went and found some of the leather and carefully wrapped it around the hilt. Perfect.
Holly created herself: Mediocre Decent Seashell Knife +6

Holly supposed she had to test her knife now. Yeah, this would be fun getting to use what you made against an opponent. Okay, a fake-not real opponent but it would still be fun anyway. She found the leather mannequin and studied it. Seemed easy enough. It was then she realized she never really used a knife before to attack something. Stick them with the pointy end, seemed to be a good enough idea. So she did just that. The knife went in deep. So deep she had a bit of trouble getting the knife back. When she finally pulled it out of the mannequin a piece of her knife had fallen off. Whoops.

Holly was feeling good and went in for another attack. She did decent this time and yet again another piece of the knife chipped away. Not good.

Her attacks were not going as planned. Her knife was also starting to break. What was up with that. The ghoul slashed at the mannequin and almost missed it this time.

Holly was a bit upset at her knife. She gave this stab all she got. The knife made a good hit on the mannequin but as soon as she brought the knife away it shattered into a million pieces. For a moment the ghoul stared at the pieces of the knife on the ground. Oh well, at least it stood it's ground for a bit.

[The Stadium]
Holly had decided for today's training she'd try out the stadium. Seeing that their class was starting to get into more combat, a little extra training in that sort of thing couldn't hurt. She took the staff from the horsewomen and nodded.
She got a few good hits in. But despite her best efforts the ghoul was defeated the first round. And now she hurt from being hit with a stick. Not fun.
