The Observation Point General Setting:The Observation Point is the highest point of the entire Clan structures, seated at the very tip of the highest tree. The climb up is precarious, and can only be managed for the flightless on a single, swaying ladder. Even then, the flight up is covered in thick and dangerously sharp branches, spears, and other weapons, just to emphasize facing the obstacles. In fact, it is so difficult to make it up, that one climbing must be aware of all obstacles, and overcome them before reaching the top. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. They are NOT at the observation point top yet, they need to roll to get there. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: While climbing upwards with the ladder, as you do not want to brave the spears, you look down. The ground is so very far down. you begin to loose your nerve a bit, and remain stuck. 21 - 40: The ladder begins to sway and shake precariously, as suddenly a gust of wind billows to one side, causing anyone airborne to also grab a hold onto that ladder for dear life. You can practically see your life flashing before your eyes (again) as you almost get impaled by a sharp spear. 41 - 60: You finally manage to pass the first hurdle of spears, but nearly get pin-cushioned again as a barrage of arrows appear out of nowhere. Really now? 61 - 80: You see a lone clan member fly upwards towards the observation point, dodging all obstacles effortlessly. Sure, they make it look easy... 81- 100: You finally reach the top! At the very top, you can see a large group of War clan members filing out, heavily armed and equipped. They seem to be shouting loudly to each other as well, excitedly as they exit to the portal room. (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! Still having a bit of free time, Shun had decided to explore a little more. After some wandering, he managed to find what appeared to be some sort of observatory. Or watchtower. Those were the only two things he could think it could be, seeing how it was a really high point within the canopies. Most likely, he could get a pretty good view of the surrounding areas if he could get up there. Staring at the rope ladder, he grabbed it before beginning to scale on up. The spears weren't an issue for him as he managed to get around those. But then suddenly an arrow struck the tree, narrowly missing his head. He couldn't see it as it was right to his left, but he definitely heard it. That, and he felt it brush on by. Gritting his teeth, he started to move, but more arrows came out, preventing him from going much higher at the moment. "Kusooo...." he hissed.

Letting out a breath, the volley of arrows seemed to have ceased. Shun started to make his way upwards again, but the wind began to make the ladder sway rather violently. Hanging onto the ladder, his eye widened before he was nearly impaled onto one of the spears.
The winds were too strong right now, and he couldn't simply shadow step his way towards the top. He was going to have to try and reach the observatory another time.
So carefully, very carefully, he climbed his way back down, feeling slightly irritated.

Climbing to the highest point of the Clan structures? Sounded fun enough to Yin. He smiled at the boil who was coming back down, flashing his razor sharp teeth at him, and proceeded to attempt to scale the ladder. This would have been so much easier in his mantis form.
Someone flew past, dodging all of the obstacles and Yin could not help but feel a slight pang of jealousy. Someday. Someday he would be the one with wings. And maybe he could not soar with them as they did but he would be able to do more than cling to this ladder.

Spears? They really did not even come close. But the barrage of arrows that followed convinced him. Perhaps he would wait for another day until he tried to climb this ladder again.
He began to back down the ladder, slightly peeved but sure that at some time or another he would manage to scale the ladder to the structure above.

After leaving Amphi to rest in the dorms from their training run, he made his way outside after a quick change of clothing; after all, his clothing was wet from the Toxic cave obstacle, and his jacket was with Amphi. Walking around a bit, he decided to start with the highest point - the Observation post. While he didn't have a fear of heights, he did have a fear of being-stabbed-by-pointy-things, which might be why he was more than just a little surprised to find out how pointy the way up was.
After a brief moment of hesitation, he asked Biskoto to press herself close to him before he started the rather slow climb up; just as all was going well, a gust of wind caused the ladder to sway to a side, and he almost met his end at the end of a spear. The ordeal sent his familiar into her panic mode, as she went 'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' every time the ladder started to swing due to the wind.
He quickly decided - from the number of sharp, pointy objects surrounding the ladder - that the members of the Clan of War must all be masochists. Or maybe sadists, but only towards any outsiders.

After finally making it past the spears, he was not very pleased to find a barrage of arrows waiting for him almost immediately after. Due to luck, he managed to avoid being a pincushion, although there was one arrow that came dangerously close to impaling his knee... If it did, he would have to give up being a good looking charmer to become a good looking charmer who took an arrow to the knee!
And that would be such a pity.
So much so that he decided to make his way down, making the decision to return tomorrow.

It wasn't too long before Edel set her sights upon the observation point that rested at the highest point in the canopy of trees. After a day's worth of getting utterly trounced in a duel and watching the horsemen spar, the ghoul thought that the best way to conclude the day was to perhaps feast her eyes upon what would no doubt be a spectacular panoramic view of the isle. The swaying ladder that led to the top was perhaps, not the best way of scaling to the observation point, a conclusions she would have arrived at after spending every few minutes hanging on to the ladder to wait for the breeze to pass so she could climb up the next few rungs. In that slightest moment where she had judged the timing wrongly, the ghoul found herself being flung outwards, along with the ladder, into precarious proximity of the many dozens of spears that threatened to impale her if she had gotten any closer. The gust of wind soon died down and Edel decided that it would be in her best interests to scale the ladder back down to safety.

Setting her feet back down on the solid wooden panel floors of the loft, the ghoul watched dolefully as a horsemen took flight, navigating through the obstacles with great ease and finally reaching the observation point. There was no doubt a sense of envy and only for that moment, she lamented her flightlessness. Still, she decided that she could come back on a day that was less windy and take her chances. For now however, there were other places to see.

With her ego slightly bruised, Poke left the training grounds for now (rubbing her sore back while she walked), and opted for the observation point instead. It looked like a great place to get a birds eye view of everything.
But what she hadn't counted on, was the sheer difficulty of reaching the top. The only way up was a ladder that she didn't trust climbing. And flying was out of the question as well; no one was allowed to use their natural abilities, and even if she could, the amount of sharp objects and spears stuck everywhere would make it extremely hard to keep the wing membranes from being punctured. Which left the ladder...
Stepping up to the ladder, she began to climb very slowly towards the top. As she got closer, the ladder began to sway dangerously, and by accident, she looked down towards the ground. Which why a very long way down...
...No, she wasn't scared...not at all! She just liked staying in one piece, thats all...

"Stupid....ladder..." She mumbled, pulling herself higher and ignoring the fact she as so high off the ground. No, it was better to just focus on something else, like the spears that were very close. She did her best to keep out of the way of them, but just when she thought she was almost there, a barrage of arrows was sent flying her way.
"OH SHI-" She Flattered herself against the ladder, feeling the objects whiz by her harmlessly to hit a tree nearby. Though if they had come any closer, it would be a different story...
"I...might come up here...another time..." She said to herself, glancing around nervously for any more signs of arrows, before making a hasty retreat

Roch stared at the ladder, cocking his head slightly as he looked up it--and further up it. He thought for a moment, then grabbed onto the ladder, starting to climb. He would love to be in the highest part of the place! It'd be awesome!
He glanced over, watching as one of the clan members flew past him, dodging through all the obstacles. He snorted and kept climbing. They made it look easy, but... they had wings and knew this place. He had neither.

Roch kept climbing, enjoying the sensation of pulling himself up rung by rung. This was like the most massive tree house in the universe, he decided. Roch wanted one. He would find a tree out in the weeping forest and make himself a tree fort!
Er... he really doubted it would be this high, though, he thought as he glanced down. Mostly because he'd never seen a tree this high in the weeping forest. Or... anywhere, really.
He hauled himself to the top, grinning as he reached it, and looked around. The sight of the war clan members armed for war caught his eye, making him watch curiously as they shouted at each other, heading for a portal. What... He frowned slightly, wondering what in the hell they were up to...

Something glinted in the corner of Roch's eye and he turned, seeing something shiny--His hand shot out, grabbing it and slipping it into his pocket before he started down the ladder again.
He would rather not have the warriors notice him at the moment.

Cheating, always cheating. Riley floated up to the observation point, even though she knew Sammy had to take the ladder, and dodged the incoming spears easily. They were easy to spot as they soared through the air, but the volley of arrows were not. So when they came for her, she all but toppled down a few feet, and hesitated in the air.
They just looove to shoot things at us, don't they..

Spotting Roch up on the observation platform, Mitzi decided that she'd impinged on Whipser's time enough for today. So she quickly bid her goodbye, and started up the ladder. She could do this. If she was going to be here for a week, she would have to be able to handle this sort of thing.
She was actually starting to feel like she was getting the hang of it. As long as she focused on climbing and dodging the various obstacles, she could reasonably forget what was - or rather was not - below her. But just then a barrage of arrows shot out of nowhere, and in dodging she lost one of her handholds. For a moment of breathless panic, she was sure she would fall, before she managed to grab on again.
