THE OASIS General setting: The Oasis is a small body of water that breaks away from the otherwise tedious nature of the surface of the Isle of Famine, nestled into location by a series of high cliffs. It is reachable through a series of pathways underground, and acts as the water reservoir for the clan, especially involving their testing rooms. While the water is dry, clean, the area is also for the most part abandoned. The only real function of the oasis is to act as a natural cooling agent close to one of the exits of the colonies underground. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: The Oasis looks pretty much abandoned, except for the occasional clan member wandering around gathering supplies around the oasis. You notice an abundance of strange and different crops all patched around the oasis: from unknown herbs to strange, snapping leaves. 21 - 40: You see something move in the water, and you try to take a closer look at it. The shadow in the water responds by reaching out, nearly dragging you into the water forever. You barely wriggle out of its grasp - did you just get attacked by a plant? 41 - 60: The reeds around the oasis seem to oddly bend and shift whatever direction you are moving. When you get suspicious and turn around to stare at them, they immediately feign "stupid" and stop moving. 61 - 80: You hear a strange buzzing noise, and see a small colony of bugs, what look like locusts moving in and out of the oasis area. What are they doing in a place like this? 81- 100: You notice a thick black texture in the water of the oasis. It almost looks like.... oil? (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

Once he was done training for the day, Aksaja decided to do a little exploring. He wandered around in the tunnels for a while, but soon found that he was feeling just a bit . . . cramped. So he headed up toward the surface, squinting in the harsh desert light. It wasn't until his eyesight had adjusted that he noticed there was actually water here. It looked sort of like part of his little desert box from before. Not that remembered what something like this was actually called, but that was okay.
Wandering down toward the water, the lightning dragon scooped up a handful of water to take a drink, then let what was left trickle out of his palm back into the pool. It was pretty relaxing up here . . .

After the training, Arynek took a nap in the dorm. When she felt her energy was refilled, she started her adventure on the Isle of Famine. She passed several tunnels, without knowing where she was going. She is kinda excited about this, not taking long, she found an exit to the surface. The surface is a desert-like enormous plain, while she was surprised to find herself near a water body!? She decided to take a closer look at it..........

It hadn't been more than a few minutes before someone else apparently found the same opening to the surface that he had. But by that time, Aksaja had found a sort of slanted rock to lounge on, soaking up the desert sun. Heat like this didn't bother him, though he'd eventually want to head back inside where it was cooler.
Hearing footsteps, the lightning dragon glanced over and offered a lazy sort of wave. "Wondered how long I'd be alone up here. You don't like the tunnels much either? Or just exploring?"

A little breather, that sounded nice . . . Especially after the fail of the first trial he had taken. Seriously, he was no good with plants. >[ Once outside, the zomboil had to squint to find his way to he oasis, which several others had found as well on their down time. "Mrrr . . . Hope did better n' class than me," he said, shielding his eyes. "Really has thing for plants, Famine. Not me."

Manda "Wondered how long I'd be alone up here. You don't like the tunnels much either? Or just exploring?" Arynek suddenly heard someone speaking while she tried to be closer to the water. It was a BOIL! eek Arynek never get along with boils except her Uchitels, what should she do now? redface It seemed a bit rude if not answering......so she decided to answer. " Hi....Hi, I am just exploring....what...what are you doing here?" She replied in a undertone, lowering her head and avoid direct eye contact with the boil. Her face began to turn red.

Shenny made her way out of the underground system of the Colony only to find a cosy little place with what appeared to be a little pond. A couple of students were already there studying the environment.
"Hi!" Shenny waved her hand towards students.

Well, that was good - Aksaja wasn't at all opposed to some company. Sitting up, he waved to the newcomers. "Hey, everyone. Enjoying science-land so far?"
Movement caught his eye then, and he quickly glanced around. Were those reeds . . . moving? Nah. But when he turned back to the others, he saw another flicker of motion. What the? "Anyone else see that?" he asked, staring at the reeds. Which, of course, were totally still now.

"Kinda . . ." Though he paused when Aksaja turned to look at something, finding that when he too did so he saw nothing suspicious. However, the water was strange, and with a frown Mort approached both it and the lightning dragon, kneeling. "Mrrr . . . something n' water . . ." It was inky black, almost like oil, or tar maybe. But what was that doing there?

He also could've sworn he saw something glinting, but when he took his eye off the oasis to locate it the shine went away. Oasises (Oasees?) were known for illusions after all, though the inky water was not going away . . . "Mrrrr. Not like illusions," he murmured.

Arynek saw more students coming, finally a ghoul, she thought. " Hi...?" She greeted to the ghoul, with a shy smile on her face.

Shenny was called by a shadow looking... mmm... closer examination revealed that was a ghoul. Was the creature's voice really that low, almost disappering, or was she just shy?.. Shenny had no clue which monster it is... a banshee?.. or a shadow?... Anyway, the ghoul seemed to be very polity and probably lonely. "Hi! I'm Shenny", she tried to sound sweet and neighbourly.

santime "Hi! I'm Shenny", she tried to sound sweet and neighbourly. Arynek was happy that the ghoul did not ignore her, the ghoul said introduced herself and Arynek noticed that Shenny is beautiful. " Nice to meet you, Shenny, I am Arynek" She speaks with great voice this time, with the courage from the nice feeling Shenny gave. " You are beautiful" Arynek continued.

Shenny looked around: the Oasis was pretty much abandoned, except for some suspiciously looking herbs growing around. Shenny wondered for a moment, why there is no Famine horsemen crowds here, at one of the few places where they have water. Either Famine members got used to sustain themselves without water, or they probably have other sources. And oh, Arynek was nice indeed. Shenny loved compliments, and she's going to enjoy the ghoul's company. " Oh thank you!", she blushed. " I'm pleased to meet you. Is there anything intersting going on here?"

While Arynek was talking to Shenny, she noticed something, she got closer to the water just to have a closer look. SUDDENLY! Something reached out, tried to drag Arynek into the water with a unbreakable force. Because of the sudden attack, Arynek fell down and screamed a bit. She wriggled hard to escape from the grasp. Noticing its failure, the thing went back to water. Arynek took a deep breathe and felt reliefed. She was able to see the thing is like some vines. "Did I just attack by a plant?" She wondered
