The Tea Ceremony Rooms are a series of ornately decorated rooms that make up one of the larger floating water pavilions. Upon walking inside, you realize the structure actually has a center courtyard, featuring a clean zen garden with an open roof. Several of the rooms are occupied, though even in the empty rooms, there is a warm kettle of tea, and what look like a variety of simple snacks lying on the tables. OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Please do not MAKE more than 3 prps/orps (though you can join as many as invited) until you have finished them all (marked as FIN) Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: Upon arriving in the room, you notice one of the Clans attendants giving you a dirty look, pointing to your feet. It looks like you forgot to wear designated slippers, as there is still a pile of them in the entrance. Whoops, talk about awkward for some of you... (see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here! 21- 40: You pour yourself a cup of tea, and notice after a bit that the tea pot seems to be oddly enchanted. In fact, it just continuously refills itself. Magical! 41- 60: You talk a little too loud, earning some glares from the attendant just standing there, outside the room you are occupying. Whoops. 61- 80: You try one of their little snacks, it tastes nice, but there's a strange texture to it that you just can't place. It tastes a little sweet perhaps...? 81- 100: Because the walls are so thin, you hear other Clans members debating over something in another room. They are speaking in another language, but they definitely are angry about something. You hear their attendant give them a cough, and they quieten again, whispering in loud, heated, angry tones [ Tea Ceremony : WEEK ONE. ] Fallow, Mea, Dev, Bon. Bongani smelled the sweets before he saw them and wrinkled his nose. Ew. He continued on into the pavillion though, moving deeper into one of the empty rooms. He'd found out about the tea and sweets from one of the other students and had informed Mae, figuring that she was still wanting to eat something. Bongani personally would pass. Tea might be nice though. A hot cup of tea while sitting in the tranquil setting of the zen garden was just what he needed after the encounter with the adara. Gods, what a train wreck.
Sighing and trying to put the whole training session behind himself, he figured now was the perfect time to just sit and relax. Intending to do just that, Bon stepped around a tinkling pond to the low table with the tea and sweets, figuring his companions would meet him eventually.

She crinkled her nose when she caught scent of something sweet. Dev huffed silently, bearing with the smell as she headed toward one of the floating pavilions. The ghoul directed her gaze toward the other three, subtly letting herself linger behind so she could kneel on the edge of one of the bridges to peer into the blue waters. Occasionally she checked left and right for the presence of a horseman before returning to her business. Ears twitched while her rippling reflection stared back at her. At the edge of the bridge she could see a wisp of green—her wagging tail before a fish swimming in the water caught her attention. Dev hummed thoughtfully. She lifted a hand to dip into the water, but then thought better of it. A glance toward the others revealed they were still walking on and she shuffled after them.
The smell was stronger as she entered a pavilion and passed the rooms, some empty and some occupied. Dev passed a room, but her eyes widened when she spotted a familiar flash of dark skin. She backtracked, boots clicking against the floor until she successfully peeked inside to greet Bon. “Hey.” Smiling, she softly padded inside and took the seat opposite of him. Her intention was to pour herself a cup of tea, but the sweets on the table had caught her eye. While Dev didn’t have a sweet tooth, she was still curious about the delicacies the Horsemen had to offer. Her head cocked to the side, she delicately picked one up and took a small bite. She closed her eyes and made a face. Yup. Sweet. She continued to chew, slowly taking in its particular texture. Hmmm. Interesting.

His mouth felt empty.
Perhaps that was the main reason why he was here, surrounded by the scent of tea and the quiet voices coming from all directions at once. Walking on the balls of his feet, the Púca's tail twisted back and forth nervously -- it was so quaint here. So very breakable. And oh, how good Fallow was at breaking things. Rumbling as he spotted a familiar figure disappear into one of the many empty tea rooms, Fallow followed, his long tail swishing and low to the ground, trailing like a neon splattered blanket behind.
"Bon." The Púca rumbled, poking his head around the thin entrance and quirking his ears towards the witch doctor. Oh, Dev was there too! "Hello." He murmured to the girl too, a smile creeping across his face. He was considerably less energetic now - perhaps simply simmering in the entirety of it all - though the glow of his markings and eyes brightened at the sight of his new - ah - friend. "Hellohmmhello." Tiptoeing in, the Púca settled down onto the matted floor, tucking his lanky legs beneath himself and curling his tail around his thin frame. The ornate decorations caught his attention first, and before settling simply on Bongani and Dev, the Púca's head whipped around, trying to take in the detail of the room, ears swiveling back and forth in every possible direction before finally, finally quirking forward and resting on the witch doctor himself.
"Hmm." Leaning forward, the Púca butted Bonjani affectionately on the head, and then did the same to Dev as well before settling back. "How are you recovering from the birds?" He remembered vaguely how Bonjani's bird had run away and his ears prickled a bit. But ahh, food first! Contently, the monster leaned forward and reached for one of the many snacks.

On the walk over Mea had decided that the only good bird was one she was eating, and thus already dead. Her ears were dropping and flat against her head as she moved into the area. Licking her lips she moved into the pavillion itself, turning back to a rather disapproving look towards her shoes. In wonder the rabbit huffed, staring down at her shining black shoes and backwards at a pile of slippers. Awkwardly she dove for them, shifting around the pile so as not to offend her host.
Ignoring everything else she stuck her head into it, leaning over in an attempt to find her size. Blinking she could see it, a glimmering at the back corner. What was it? Was it a charm? Was it food? She leaned forward in an attempt to grab it.

"Hello, Fallow," Bongani intoned, putting up with the headbutt, starting to become very used to it. He wasn't sure if that was good or bad, but he liked Fallow okay so he didn't mind too much. He glanced at Dev and Mae as the girls joined them and couldn't help but snort at about the comments regarding the adara.
"I agree with Mae. The only good bird in a dead one, nasty little beasts." He ignored the plate of sweets, pushing them towards Mae after here her stomach whine for food. He did pour himself a drink though, reveling in the taste of the hot liquid as it hit his tongue. He nearly choked though when he heard furious whisperings behind the screen in the room beside there own. He glanced at Dev, catching her and eye. It seemed she wasn't oblivious to the noise making either. Just as Bon was about to comment on it though, the attendant near the doorway coughed and things went quiet again. Well, that certainly had been odd.

It was nothing.
There was a loud "pfft" sound as she wrenched herself free of the pile of slippers. Once again her eyes had been playing tricks on her and she blinked. Apparently dealing with the birds had gotten into her mind moreso than she had thought. "Oh well." she said with a shrug, bounding in to meet up with the others.
GRRRN her stomach roared.
It was the immediate reaction to the smell of food hitting her nose. Closing the gap between her in the table was little more than a leap before her mouth met with a nearly sickeningly sweet substance. Mea didn't care as she slurped it down, making a few loud sounds as she licked her plate clean, setting it to lightly clatter as she moved back with a happy sigh.
It was then she noticed her companions and looked back at them with a sheepish grin. "Well I think that was a lot of fun for today." She said, holding back a dainty burp. "I prefer my birds raw or cooked than alive." A toothy grin met their gaze as she looked them over in intrigue. "So what do you all feel like doing now?" She said, suddenly leaning over the table with a sly look towards all of them.
"Are you going to eat yours?"

Dev thoughtfully chewed on the snack for a while ago, savoring the unique texture of it against the roof of her mouth. She wasn’t fond of the taste, but she would relish the experience nonetheless. After all, the cu sith highly doubted she would be able to return to the isles in the future. Her only regret was that she would be unable to visit all four isles, but she reasoned two was better than none. The ghoul took another glance around the room, trying to commit the scenery to memory so she would be able to relay her discoveries and experiences back to everyone else in Halloween.
Finally, she swallowed. Her eyes squeezed shut and she held in her tongue, which was fighting to loll out of her mouth. Not her favorite snack, that was for sure. Voices from one of the other room caught her attention. Dev examined the walls until she stared in the direction where she pinpointed the noise emanated from. It sounded like other horsemen, judging by not only the foreign language but by the fact that they were practically surrounded by them on the isle. Her gaze met Bon’s; the reaper had evidently picked up on the conversation as well. Shortly after someone coughed and the volume died down, but her ears still picked up the hushed, angry whispers.
Dev shot Mea a wry look before nudging the rest of her snack toward the other ghoul. "Ye can have it."

"Yesyes, hmmm, hello. Is tea very good?" Content, Fallows ears curled forward, neon splashes ever vibrant beneath the blackened color. The scent of tea was heavy in the air, but he'd never touched the strange liquid in his life, nor had he had the pleasure of tasting it. And nor was he sure he - ah - wanted to. Hmmm. Reaching for the treats again, Fallow found himself interrupted yet a second time by Mea's entrance, and he picked himself up and scooted over a few paces to allow her room, watching as she inhaled very nearly not only the snacks but the entirety of the plate as well. What a stomach she had. The Púca's tail curled in brief amusement, but it was rather well squandered by a sudden dirty look by one of the horsemen outside of their room. And they were... looking at his feet? Fallow turned his head to the bare appendages in scrutiny too; had he offended them somehow with no shoes?
And then he turned his head from side to side and realized he'd completely missed the pile of slippers just outside of the hall and by the entrance. Apparently it was another one of those manners things he'd yet to learn so much about. Snorting in dissatisfaction at his situation, the Púca curled his ears back and in turn completely missed the shared glance between Dev and Bongani over the heated argument they'd just heard going on. "Hmm." Rumbling, the Púca picked up one of the plates of snacks in front of him and offered it over to Mea. "Here, here, Mea. Hmmyes, you like food right, yes?"
Picking himself up, the Púca padded back to the door, overhearing Mea's question but not answering right away. Slipping back out of the room, he traveled back to the pile of slippers and knelt, his long tail sweeping out over the clean floorboards and very nearly into another horsewoman. Oops. But he was too invested in the finding of slippers that would fit his feet. He wore nothing so often that a number to tack his foot size onto did not exist in his brain, and in the end he decided to sift through the pile until he found one either too big or just right for him to put on and return with.
But... ah, what was that just there, in the corner of his eye?

[ one horsemen point obtained! ]
Leaning forward, Fallow snatched something small and shining from the corner of the pile and pocketed it for later. He was still entranced in the finding of correct slippers, and his tail flip-flopped back and forth in minor irritation and concentration before he finally yanked a pair away with a soft exhale of "mmyesperfectgoodgood." Fitting them onto his feet, the Púca puzzled his way back into the private tea room his herd had somehow managed to obtain and settled himself next to the three, peering down at the warm pot and the empty plates that Mea had managed to go through already.
"Are you satisfied now, yes?" He asked the girl curiously, his long tail swirling around and settling quaintly by his side. Deciding that while in the Conquest Isle, he might as well try their odd and out of place tea, Fallow reached for the pot, seizing it between his fingers and reveling in its warmth for a few moments before pouring the liquid into his cup. The scent it released was nearly intoxicating and nauseating at the same time. It tipped him over the edge of drowsiness, and the Púca's vibrant ears nearly flopped over in a state of relaxation as he brought the cup to his lips and tried a sip. It was... very strange. Bringing it away from his mouth, Fallow snorted and shook his head, trying to regain the focus and concentration from before.
"Hmm." Setting the cup down, Fallow tilted and leaned against Bongani. "Bon, I am going to lean on you for a minute. Hmmmm." He rumbled softly, ears curling and eyes half-lidding. The constant lack of chaos was making him shift between urges to run and race and leap and break things to a state of near mellowness that tilted into drowsiness when he didn't have something to focus his mind so eagerly on. Though... wasn't Mea asking a question? Or had it been Dev? Whoever it was, Fallow keened through his teeth and tilted his head up, looking from Bongani to Dev and then to Mea and back again.
"Ahh I am not sure what we should do now," Oh, was it Mea who'd asked? He remembered the sound of her voice and syllables as well... vaguely at least. "Hmmhmm, what do you think?"
The question went to anyone and all. Even the horsemen and women passing along outside their room, though he doubted they were listening in.

Now that Dev had finished the snack she decided to pour herself another cup of tea to drink. It held a unique taste, but it was a taste that she rather enjoyed. She especially enjoyed the sensation of the cup pressed against her fingers, the warmth of the drink seeping through the glass to her hands. The ghoul brought the cup close to her lips, taking a couple whiffs of the scent before she finally took a few sips of tea. There was a content hum in the back of her throat as she drank it and brought the tea back down to the table.
She shot Fallow an amused smile while she watched him lean against the other boil. How cute. “Yer lookin’ a bit sleepy, Fallow,” she noted. Another hum in the back of her throat as the puca posed a question to all of them. “Indeed.” Eyes narrowed and ears drooped as she drew up a map of the isle in her mind, visualizing the buildings and bridges. “How abit we go tae th’ temple?” she suggested.

Once the rabbit had the go ahead she plunged into the plates and nearly swallowed them whole as she tipped them over into her mouth. Forgetting her manners completely she was in an almost rage mode when consuming, so much so she felt her cheeks puff up like a squirrels as she took yet another plate from her comrades and shoveled it in. She could feel the rows of her teeth gnawing away at the bits of food and she let out a loud swallow followed by the sound of relief washing over her.
Rubbing her belly she felt a small burp rise and she allowed it, following it with a small giggle and nodding to her comrades. "Thank you!" she began, covering her hand for another burp. "My stomach doesn't need so much as it wants more and more and now it has more so it should be silent for a while." She continued, though she herself was only half listening while she ran a hand against a plate, taking it up to her mouth and licking it a bit before clattering it back down on the table.
"That's a yes then." She said with a nod to Fallow. "Very satisfied." She added with a fanged grin.
Grabbing hold of the nearest cup the Mouryou gulped it down in one easy shot, turning again to Dev with an excited bounce into standing. "That would be great!" She said, though gave no reason why. With stomach sated and brain back to it's usual function, she was back in gogogo! mode.
"Well come on then!" She emphasized with a bounce.

"Lack of chaos bores me," Fallow rumbled softly, his tail curling towards Dev in sleepy response. Lifting his head, the Púca yawned again and settled himself in a slightly straightened posture. At the mention of the temple, however, Fallow brightened a bit, ears forking forward like a neon bright sign towards his interest. "Ahhhmmn." Rumbling in amusement, he grinned toothily, though the sleepiness still had its hold on his barely glowing neon eyes. "That sounds fun. This tea room is... ah, putting me to sleep." Yawning again to emphasize his point, Fallow pushed himself to his feet, looking over at Mea as she made sound - words, his tired mind corrected him belatedly.
The girl had managed to wolf down nearly all of the snacks they'd been permitted, and he was sure that if he offered her a buffet, she would eat it all up. Twisting around, Fallow trudged over to the door, tail shifting and flicking behind him like an over-eager pup. "Hmm." Peaking out of it, Fallow gave a small grin to clanmember's passing by, though all he got in return were icy stares. When Mea joined him standing up, he pulled one on of her ears affectionately before rumbling and walking through the thin paper entrance.
"Let us be going then, I do not think this sort of place will have me awake for much longer." He rumbled back to Bongani and Dev before padding towards the entrance and leaving it up to them to follow at their own pace.
