The Open Obstacles General Setting: The open obstacles are located just a little away from the dormitory quarters. They span a fair chunk of the untamed portion of trees that populate the isle, littering the branches with nets, sharp spears, arrows, weapons, every single trap and surprise that you could possible think of. The goal of the obstacle is not to pass it as there seems to be no visible beginning nor end, but to simply get as far as you can OOC: EVENT ROLLS AND PROMPT MECHANICS: - When your student has arrived in this setting, you can CHOOSE to roll a 100-sided dice at any point in time. You can only do this twice per RP you make. Match your dice roll to the results below for a prompt/ small reaction that your student may discover. RP out results accordingly. 1-20: You make a spectacular start and get towards the canopy nets, climbing along them. However, you suddenly hear a snapping noise, and when you look down, your foot has been snared by a trap. Without warning, you go flying, right out of the obstacle course! Ouch! 21 - 40: You don't get very far, as some spears from the ground begin to fly at you, pinning you to a nearby tree. Yeah, someone's going to have to free you... 41 - 60: You finally pass the nets and spears and reach what looks like solid ground. Well that doesn't look too bad... that is until you step on a trap, a solid wooden crate trapping you entirely. It's gonna take a while for you to get out again. 61-80: At last you hit a rickety wooden bridge. The winds moving at what seem like ten thousand miles per hour make it impossible for you to fly past this obstacle. You cling to the bridge for dear life when suddenly - SNAP. Thankfully there is a net below... but its going to take a while to climb out. 81-100: You reach what you think is the end of the obstacle, cheering loudly. That is, until you notice a sign that says actual obstacle course ahead.(see below for horsemen point prompt) - Horsemen point prompt! You also see something glint next to you, but is it just a trick of the light? Roll a 6-sided dice. If odd you obtain one horsemen point! You can only redeem a max of two from all prompt prps/orps your student is in per OOC 24 hours. You can redeem these here and here!

Roch didn't want to spend any time in the dorms. NONE. Sure he'd have to sleep sooner or later, but it wasn't dark out, so later was what he voted on! In fact he had looked out the window of the dorms and caught sight of something that might be interesting-- And headed straight for it.
He'd caught sight of Danny along the way, he didn't know if she'd seen him or not, but he'd waved at her. Either way, he thought as he stared at the rope obstacle course happily, this was going to be AWESOME. He stretched at the beginning line, working out his kinks and getting limber.

At some point she'd gotten seperated from Rikki. I don't know how don't make me come up with reasons. Basically she saw Roch wave and ran over to him lickety split. She loved Roch after all!
"Hey!" she said, but it was aimed skyward because Danny's head was tilted up, looking at the intricate obstacle course set before her. For all the amazonian spirit these horsemen showed, Danny was pretty impressed with their set up. So far she'd seen nothing but neat treehouses and obstacle courses.
She looked back and Roch and said, "Bet you I can get farther," she said, grinning wildly. "Wanna race?"

He was only a few feet in before spears started shooting out, catching his clothes and pinning him to the tree behind him. "Jackdammit, Danny! Can you get me out?" he called to the fire demon. He was really starting to think War had it out for him. Like... the entire island. But he wasn't about to let that stop him!

Danny laughed as Roch got caught by spears, absolutely failing before he got more than a few steps. She climbed up and started pulling out the spears that trapped him, being the good best friend she was. Halfway through, before he could escape, she said, "Oh my Jack wait!"
She then proceeded to pull out her eyephone and take a picture of Roch trapped by the spears. Danny let out a round of obnoxious laughter, put her phone away and then started pulling at the spears again.
Once that was done, she patted his shoulder and said, "Now watch how a TRUE master does it." Then she took two steps, set off a trap and got caught by a box.
"Err. Help?"

"Okay, Danny, burn the jackin' box with your tail," Roch called to her. "They let you keep that, right? Otherwise you'd be knocked out or somethin, right?" Not that he knew all the details, but still--
Jack he hoped she still had her tail fire.

Well duh she does because if she didn't she'd be pretty significantly comatose Roch.
"Burn the jox with my sail?" she shouted. It was a little hard to hear inside the box, since it was made of solid wood. Why did Roch want her to burn a poor jox? And how the world would she do that with a sail?
Danny didn't have time to try and figure out what the reaper meant. She lashed out with her tail until the inside of the boards was weakened, and then kicked her food out, breaking the side of the box. With that, she climbed out to stand beside Roch once more.
She dusted herself off and then asked, "So what did you say?"

"I said to--never mind, you got out," Roch said. He was looking down at his pants, which had several holes in them now.
"Jackdammit, I just bought these, too," he complained. "C'mon, let's keep going!" he added, grabbing onto the ropes again. "No point in wasting a pair of pants just to quit now."

Danny gave a coarse laugh and said, "Okay but the real thing starts here!" No more booby traps. No more spears. Just pure endurance.
And jackdamn did she endure. Danny twisted through the rope like a monkey, dodging spears and arrows and everything they threw at her. She actually laughed part way through. This was ridiculously fun. Why didn't they have stuff like this back at home?
She made it impossible lengths to the very last platform and starting cheering. Yeah take that horsemen! Your puny obstacle courses were nothing for the mighty Danny!
... Then she saw the sign and her face fell. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

He started to follow her, swinging from rope to rope, feeling the breeze--
And then got hit by the spears again. "Jack DAMMIT!" he cursed, pinned to the next tree down the line. "Danny, can you get me free again?" he called. "I swear whoever's down there throwing these things has a thing against me."

Danny turned around to find Roch entrapped by spears again. She let out a laugh, but monkeyed her way through the ropes to where he was.
Her hands wrapped around the branches of wood and started yanking. "Geez, they really get them in here tight!" she exclaimed, referring to the spears. It was true too. Each one was driven into the tree and stuck there pretty well. Uck!
"That oughta do it," she said, pulling out the last one. She clapped him on the back and said, "Ready to head back? I don't know how many more spears I can pull out Roch!"

"Yeeeeah, I think I'm done for now," Roch said as she helped him get free. Hopefully there would be things that DIDN'T involve getting pinned to a tree every three steps.
