Inner PeaceThe room was divided into cubicles, each cubicle with a small, rectangular carpet in it. The whole place was so quiet that it was almost odd, and smelt strongly of incense; however, the smell seemed to calm your mind, and some students might find themselves feeling a little too relaxed or sleepy; there wasn't really anyone in the room to man it, just a sign lit by candles.
"Calm your mind, seek inner peace"
Perhaps you should try meditation... As you take a seat in one of the cubicles, a horsewoman of War appeared behind you, and lowered a curtain that closed ypur cubicle off from the rest of the room; maybe there was someone manning the room after all...Quote: -> This is a solo activity! Roll 1d101-2 : You got distracted... 3-4 : You fell asleep! 5-6 : You feel almost... Tranquil. (+1 concentration) 7-8 : You feel like you're floating on a cloud... (+2 concentration) 9-10 : You feel light as a feather, and surprisingly at peace with yourself. (+3 concentration) Once you have at least 3 concentration points...-> You've gained 1 Horseman point! -> From the peace, turmoil rises! -> You suddenly remember a fear you have. It could be anything; an old memory, a phobia... Roll 1d100:1-20 : Your concentration broke immediately, and you leave feeling shaken. 21-40 : You lasted a minute, battling with this fear, but ended up breaking into a cold sweat as your concentration shatters. You couldn't help shaking as you leave. 41-60 : You feel so conflicted, so unsure- A hand rests on your shoulder. It is the horsewoman of War; she smiles, and escorts you out. 61-80 : Despite your uncertainty, your concentration stayed and when you finally open your eyes, you feel... Relatively at peace. It was as if you got one step closer to overcoming your fear, in that moment. (+ 1 Horsemen Point) 81-100 : You battled with your fear, beads of sweat cling to your skin. It was tough, and you wasn't sure how many hours you spent in that cubicle, and you might had been crying, but... As you opened your eyes and walked out of the room, your heart is light as a feather. Keeping with Hel throughout their new home for the next couple of weeks, the two had decidedly gone exploring to find what training would be available to them. Mitsu was silent as she took everything in with wide eyes, staying close to the Valkyrie until they happened upon a place of meditation. Hadn't Shun mentioned showing her a few things about meditation? He seemed to think it would help.
"Hey, look at this." Mitsu pointed into the room that was divided up into cubicles, the strong smell of incense nearly choking to her sensitive nose. Still, it was soothing somehow and Mitsu found herself relaxing.
"Should we check it out?"
A voice seemed to drift from within calling them to come meditate. Hesitantly Mitsu moved forward looking inside the cubicles with interest.

Hel, much like Mitsu, had been content to keep quiet for now as they explored the area. It was all so much to take in, even if the tones were muted and dark. Hel was, for a lack of better words, awed. It seemed their wandering eventually led them to a place of Meditation, and strangely, Hel was intrigued.
Man. That Shun was a bad influence. Before him, she wouldn’t have cared for something like this, but now? Sitting down and mediating sounded really appealing. Hel looked over at Mitsu with a raised brow as she seemed to keep fidgeting with her nose. Oh….the incense maybe? “Mitsu.” The ghoul started. “If it bothers you too much, we can go else—“ But then she was moving towards them already. Hel followed. “I suppose. If you are fine with that.”

"I think I will be alright." Her nose was a little itchy but the longer she was here it didn't seem too bad. "So we just....take a seat and...think? Not think?" She didn't know what to do but climbed into one of the cubicles and sat herself down on the little rectangle of carpet.
Before she knew it the curtain was drawn behind her and she was cut off from the rest of the room. Staring at her dimly lit surroundings for a moment Mitsu tried to make herself comfortable wishing she had some sort of idea on what she was supposed to do.
At least it was relaxing, maybe that was the key. Closing her eyes Mitsu allowed her mind to drift and tried to not think about all the things that had plagued her lately. Her body sat relaxed in an upright position until she slumped forward a little. She was a little too relaxed. She had fallen to sleep. A light snoring drifted from her cubicle, serenely and....peacefully?

“I am surprised Shun has not taught you how to meditate…” Hel murmured, follwing the Lycan up to the rows of cubicles before she claimed one for her own. The reaper sat down and crossed her legs, and was a bit startled to see one of the horsewoman closing her cubicle. Okay then…she thought they were alone…apparently not. The Valkyrie silently thanked the horsewoman, and then took a deep breath and closed her eyes, channeling what Shun taught her.
…
It wasn’t working…was…was that someone snoring?
“…Psst. Mitsu?” Hel hissed softly.

Mitsu made a muffled noise like she might have been stirring awake, jolted by the hiss coming from the Valkyrie. A few seconds of silence passed and then the soft sounds of snoring resumed. At least she would be well rested after this 'training'.

“…Mitsu.” Hel tried again, her brows furrowing. “I do not think they will appreciate that you are sleeping when you are suppose to be meditating.” Oh well though. Hopefully the Lycan woke up soon…Hel couldn’t keep trying to wake her, that’d ruin anyone else here who was trying to meditate.
Hel closed her eyes and took a deep breath once more before exhaling slowly. Focus on one thing. Let your mind clear…
Hel focused on the clear blue skies she saw, and for a moment, her heart tightened painfully in her chest. Skies she wouldn’t fly, but still, the bright blue and the clouds…it easily lulled her mind into a state of calm. Much like how her wings had made her feel light and weightless in the sky…she felt like that right now. As light as a feather…
The ghoul let out another deep breath as she seemed to go through this bright blue sky in her mind…but then there came a feeling of panic again. A fear. She couldn’t fly anymore. She’d fall.

It wasn't like Hel's voice had gone unnoticed, it drifted toward the lycan pulling her into some state between awake and asleep. Sleep...she couldn't sleep here. She was supposed to be...meditating.
Her body was already relaxed and calm, the incense had done its job and now she felt her mind drifting, floating, a weightless feeling coming over her. It was like she was floating along a river allowing the flow of the water to take her where ever it wished. If only the current didn't pick up plunging her toward thoughts she felt were better left untouched.

No, no. She needed to remember what Shun taught her. Concentrate. Despite the feeling of panic welling up, Hel took another deep breath, and then exhaled. She felt out of the sky a lot of times on purpose because she wanted to…why should now be any different?
Hel was silent for a long time, and when she finally did open her eyes, she felt a bit…better. Not great, but not bad either. She briefly wondered if Shun would be impressed if he saw, but she didn’t dwell on the thought. There was more to do and explore after all, and they only had so much time. As the curtain was drawn, the ghoul stepped out, and her brows furrowed.
Wait…there was a voice that sounded awfully familiar. Hel tilted her head as she watched Sabine get escorted away by a Horsewoman further ahead. She looked like Mitsu like ‘did I really just see her here?’
Oh well. Something told her this wouldn’t be the last time she saw her…
“Ah, let us go, Mitsu.” With that she was off.

It had been so relaxing a first, Mitsu was almost certain she had a handle on things but as it seemed her mind had a tendency to do as of late, it plunged into darkness. Thoughts and reoccurring nightmares began to surface and all Mitsu could think about was what had happened during the SEEDS mission. How she had wanted the death of the Hunter and regretted it all the same.
The vicious bloody smile across Stacey's neck seemed to taunt her and just before the image of the Hunter was replaced with Shun, Mitsu felt hands on her shoulders shaking her gently. It jarred her awake, the lycan turning and staring up at the horseman who was smiling down at her reassuringly. Mitsu felt nothing but confusion, her face contorting into an almost pained expression. Thankfully the horseman was understanding and gently got the lycan to her feet and led her to the door where she could wait for her friend and collect herself in the meantime.

Where had those ghouls gotten to? Sabine had been...not really following the two, persay. More like deeming to accompany them and keep them from doing anything tragic. Like wearing purple or vertical stripes. She'd only turned to check her hair in a mirror for the merest moment when her roomies had wandered off. She'd been searching for them all over, checking the kitchens first because...well. Kind of obvious. But the little pseudo-Valkyrie and her puppy must be fast eaters, because no go.
The vampire was yet again wondering if she should have just played over in Conquest for both weeks, because seriously, what was up with all these somber bitches? Just because you personify Death doesn't mean you have to be ready for a jacking funeral 24/7. Or maybe it did. Whatevs, dull is dull. Where were the precious gemstones and finely crafted jewelry portion of the trip?
And her roomies.
She was supposed to find them too.
Pursing her lips, she peeked into...wow, the most boring room of all boring rooms. The one room to bore the all. Scoffing loudly, followed by rolled eyes as she was glared at, Sabine almost left but...there was no mistaking the dual tone and long platinum. Even with duller senses than usual, Sabine was never one to forget a hairstyle. She took several step in and then suddenly the were going into little cubicles and she was being closed in with a screen as well?
Ugggghhh....oh well, at least she could like, take a nap or whatever until the two other ghouls were done with their...being one with the carpet or whatever.
How long was this going to take anyway....

Startling awake, Sabine surreptitiously checked for drool. Shaking herself awake, and adjusting her top, the vampiress did her best to stay awake by carefully inspecting her nails.

Maybe she should go with a white colour scheme next time she got her nails done. They'd have so much pop, and she did have that really amazing white skirt, oh and diamonds...
Mmmm...diamonds...
Mind fashionably full of sparkling white, Sabine entered a peaceful, floating state of mind.

Nope, not a chip. Were they done yet? Long black lashes fluttered shut for just a moment and...
"Mmmm....yes I will be your Queen...hmmmm...pre-nup..."
Sabine was asleep again.
