As you walk down the halls of the Life Labs, you'll eventually come across a door. A simple plaque clearly states that this particular office does, indeed, belong to one Clarice Sinclaire, Life Assistant. The office within is fairly small and, despite being tastefully decorated, a bit plain at first glance. A desk, three large computer monitors, two chairs, a small couch, a few book shelves, filing cabinets, and two doors make up the interior.
On her desk there's a large beaker that hold a bouquet of carefully dried flowers, beside it sits an oddly decorated ball. The monitors often display what look like game levels, but further inspection reveals that they're simulations of various areas around the facility, including everyone's favourite: the Deathsweeper. Every so often a little cg hunter comes on the screen and tries to go through the courses, tragic pixel deaths follow.
The desk hides a minifridge, and throughout the room there are secret compartments and several hidden doors. Each of these has been booby trapped, so even it you do know where they are, you should only try accessing them during emergencies or if you have a large amount of spare bandages.
The first door in the room has a small supplies closet that also contains several dozen coveralls in various colours. The second door leads to Clarice's workshop, where she actually builds most of her projects. Several old motorcycles in varying states of completeness, a vespa, several sets of what look to be rocket boots, and a number of other side projects also occupy the space. One side on the workroom has a large roll-up door that opens up to the outside.

lizbot I never got the tag, soz XD That's what I get for changing my SN 8D Rin swung by as instructed. First knocking lightly only to realize the door was open and she wandered inside curiously. No person outside coaxing her to wait so she hoped this was okay.
Still, she looked a bit awkward as she stood in the office. Shaking lightly at the knees but still exploring nearly every inch with her gaze. It was then she noticed the flowers and approached. They were so pretty she thought as she sat the iPod she was holding carefully on the desk to verrry lightly touch a petal.
Thoroughly distracted by her own little world.

A firm but feminine hand, gently took Rin's and lifted it away from the flowers, from behind her, Clarice said lightly, "Ah, sorry but please...don't touch those flowers." Letting go, the assistant circled the desk and took her seat, giving the trainee an apologetic smile before continuing, "So what'd you need to talk about?"

Rin about nearly needed peeled off the ceiling by how much she jumped at Clarice's sudden correction. She watched the woman circle her desk and take a seat with a stunned look still frozen across her face, one hand holding the offending hand.
"S-sorry" She quickly apologized and finally blinked before scooping up the iPod she had set on the desk.
"I uh.." She was taken off guard by the woman getting right to business.
"I need a favour sort of... you uh... you know how there's some people in the infirmary right now? I kinda wanna..." She was flustered and actually blushed rather vividly as she tried to express herself accurately with minimal embarrassment.
"I want to keep an eye on someone without being too... obvious you know?" Her gaze traveled back to the iPod.
"And I hope to get this fixed if it's possible?" She held the item up for inspection.
"Just not sure who to ask. It's uh... apparently been broken since it's arrival to the island." She seemed uncertain of the details first hand.
lizbot If you don't need quoted by the way just lemme know. I forgot to ask your pref in the last one XP

"It's okay, they just have a certain amount of....sentimental value, and you didn't know." Clarice accepted the apology and and then opened the file on her desk, Rin's file to be exact. The favour made the assistant give the woman a measuring a look and her smile grew a bit sly, but she refrained from teasing or voicing any assumptions. Rin acting like a shy school girl with a crush was kind of cute actually. "Well...I suppose i can get your duties switched to the infirmary for the week. You're moon, so it's reasonable enough." Clarice turned to one of her monitors and began typing away as she spoke, "Mostly it'll be inventory counting and janitorial work, pretty much everything the med staff hates doing themselves, but if you're willing they'll be happy to have you there. They may even take a few moments to actually teach you something here and there, but don't count on it." She glanced at the iPod and gave Rin a small, mercenary smile, "Yeah, this place is hard on mundane electronics. I can get that modded for you, you're still pretty new as a hunter, so you can just owe me for now."

Rin nodded understandingly at Clarice's explanation of the flowers, making a quick mental note not to ******** with the flowers ever again. Thankfully the subject shifted and it put her back at a vague sort of ease.
"oh-oh! That's perfect." Rin replied in a slightly too-high pitched tone. Was she just excited? Who knows.
"Do I just go there and tell them you sent me or will they already know?" She at least sounded more... stable this time.
"yes, definitely owe you. BIG time!" She held the iPod out for her.
"Not just for this but the work too... oh... and you did my nails very well too. At least, I'm pretty sure that was you. I was pretty out of it." She admitted with a slight flush to her face. She nevereverever did that sort of thing.

"Just shooting Stephen an email now." The smile grew toothy at the mention of the party, "You're welcome, and you really were, though not as bad as some. We're gonna have to bring up your tolerance levels." Turning away from her keyboard, she picked up the ipod and gave it a glance, "Yeah, this'll be easy. I'll give it back to you in a couple days."

"Oh, Stephen? Is that who I'm to meet?" She inclined her head curiously until she was reminded again about the party with a vivid blush.
"Oh no.. not me. I don't generally drink. I didn't even plan to that night... the cake, she came as a surprise." She couldn't believe she confessed such a thing. At least she didn't accidentally let it slip she'd never been boozed proper before then.
"Awesome, thank you! I appreciate it very much." Subject changes can be the best she thoughtfully added before offering her hand next for a shake of agreement. "I'm so glad you were willing to see me ma'am."
