It was another day just like any other really, the sun was making it's descent slowly high above the inhabitance going about their routines. Flam didn't really have a routine her life went from crazy busy at once to dormant for long periods of time, this was one of those long periods. With so much time on her hands she was almost at a lose of what to do. Until recently she'd been completely comfortable with her own company but after interacting with another Noodle who shared her passion for flames she actually found herself.... lonely.

Such a bizarre emotion this... loneliness....

At present she found herself sitting at the edge of a beach, on the grass before it gave way to open sand. Beside her hung a tree, providing shade and covering her appearance to most onlookers. Though with her colourings it wouldn't be too difficult to spot her, not if one gave a second glance, did she want to be hidden? It didn't really seems so. Good thing she was a big girl, who was more than used to taking care of herself and "taking care" of other things too she thought with a smirk. In fact at this precise moment in time she was half batting at a few stray grains of sand and twiddling her lighter in the other paw, semi keeping her senses alert.

Looking out over the burning array of ocean, the fae would soon notice a growing disturbance in the water, little sparkles of silver turning a section of the salty mess to froth, before a brilliant orange form swirled out of it's center, gripping a small number of the squirmy little beasts in his maw. The reason for the disturbance became evident right after him, as a large shark broke the water and the fishy uprising scattered to avoid their predator. The shark didn't resurface after that, even as the orange creature scampered up onto shore, unminding of his absolutely soaked frame as he scooted away from the water, watching it, instead of where he was going, kicking sand as he moved for his lack of attention to the fact.

Everything was playing out for an uneventful day till she noticed the sand shifting on it's own accord, raising a brow she put her head to the ground, there was indeed a slight vibration. That was when something moved at a rather fast pace out in the water and her gaze shifted and squinted for a better look.
She saw the eruption of action and blinked as the big beast emerged after the unknown unconsciously she made a dash forward which turned out in vein as the beast was not to emerge again.

Standing like a fool she shifted with the sand under her paws as she observed the orange creature, something on him catching the sun and glinting brightly. It seemed to naturally confident and at peace at whatever had happened yet Flam herself had no idea, it had all happened very quickly. Yet it seemed to be backing up towards her with no real indication it knew she was there, so standing her ground she raised her alertness and waited, either way she wanted to know what this thing was. If she had to fight it to find out... then so be it.

M'hurKh backed away a little farther from the water, before he gave a satisfied nod, and turned to go find something else to do. He stared into Flam's face for a moment before screaming, dropping the mouthful of half-mangled silver fish to the dirt at her paws and cringing on the sand, fins standing tall and flared as they worked to hide his frame like coral.... Which might have worked under water.

He looked up slowly, after a moment, before sighing, chuckling as he stood up, again. As he calmed further, the chuckle turned to a giggle. "Heh... M'hurKh thought the furpretty was a toothy..." He seemed good-natured enough, the big, goofy grin only barely visible through the mawportal in the skull helmet he wore, and the fishing hooks dangling from his scales and the line hanging from them, all glittered in the sun like his wet back fin, the only piece of him not wearing sand, at this point. A soft, fresh trickle of blood colored muddy the sand clinging to his sides, where the harpoon had been jarred with his cringe, but even that didn't seem to bother the strange, pale-scaled beast.
