Eumann frowned at the bright sun. It was past sun-high, and if Eumann didn't head home soon he wouldn't make it back to Lochlann before nightfall. He had been hoping to pay a visit to Zeloptyia before he went back. He had come to Mkoani to discuss a few matters of state with the councilmen from Lochlann earlier that morning, and as much as Eumann enjoyed getting out and about every once and a while, the distance from Lochlann to Mkoani was one he didn't care to make on a daily basis.
But Eumann couldn't seem to find Zeloptyia anywhere. The lions he had asked hadn't been much help. He had even picked up a small trinket from the marketplace to give to her. It was a simple necklace with a clear crystal hanging from a thin green cord. The cord was decorated with miniscule pebbles and various types of dried flowers. It was a pretty piece, one that Eumann hoped Zeloptyia would like.
The governor thought of it as a peace offering, one that would foster a good relationship between Lochlann and Mkoani. Anti-druid sentiments were quite prevalent here, and it showed in the Marketplace. Above all else, Eumann hoped to see some of the Druid herbs and wares in the great Marketplace. The healing salves Lochlann and Uliacha produced were more effective than anything else found in the other provinces. Many lions could benefit if they made it into the Mkoani Marketplace, but no merchants had been willing to buy them. Eumann hoped that with Zeloptyia's influence, this could change.
Of course, he would have to find her first.

xxxxxZelopytia was disgruntled. Although she'd known, coming into the position of governor, it wouldn't always be great, she didn't imagine she'd have to deal with so much stupidity. Not the type to discriminate, Zelopytia didn't realize a Druid cub's petty theft would be such an enormous issue once the gemstone was returned, but oh, was it ever. The shop owner, selling his wares on the furthest side of the market from where Zelopytia rested now, was obviously infuriated more by the cub's presence than the actual theft itself. It was ridiculous how prejudiced some of those within the province were; it simply wasn't fair that these lions were getting punished for being born of the "wrong" blood. Sighing, Zelopytia flashed her eyes about, looking for anything to take her mind off the little incident.

xxxxxImmediately following her sigh, Zelopytia's emerald eyes landed on the snowy pelt of another lion who instantly registered as another governor. It took a moment, as her brain tended to categorize those of the Mkoani Province as the most important names to know, but she soon placed him as Eumann, governor of the Lochlann. Soon enough, the lioness's face became screwed up in confusion. Lochlann was a very long walk away - what was their governor doing here, in the Mkoani lands? Without even deciding to, Zelopytia felt her muscles tense before she started jogging towards the lion, calling "Eumann!" as she approached him. Trying to keep composure, sending her confusion away, she approached him, slightly out of breath, and bowed her head. "Nice to see you, Eumann. Are you well?" Though she didn't know the lion, she decided it would be best to treat him as a friend - the governors of the various provinces really should stick together, Zelopytia thought. It could only work in their favor.
