[PRP] An early-morning shower

A brilliantly-scaled noodle stood on his hindquarters, dancing around the park and humming a tune from some game he'd never played. Maybe it was something he'd seen someone else play. (The tune from Majora's Mask when you're wearing the white bird mask and all the baby things and doggies follow you.) His forepaws split their tasks between keeping his posing by laying over a low tree branch and stretching the pose to try and reach an apple. When he slipped and fell, he stared up at the branch for a moment before taking a different approach. He propped himself against the branch upsidedown, balancing on his forepaws while his hindpaws stood against the branch and his tail arched towards the apple, the fins splaying at their tip to slice the fruit from the branch so it could roll down his spine and bounce off his shoulder.

Why he didn't just hop on top of the branch was beyond me...

Pennywise was bored and a bored Pennywise was not a good thing to have. There was explosions and random distruction when Pennywise was bored...which was actually not too different from any other time. With a family like his, it was almost expected. Today his mind was moving a mile a minute but nothing was good enough for him to use on one of his plans. So he decided to walk and hope he got some sort of inspiration but so far he found nothing and nothing wasn't good at all.

He was about to let his more distructive side out when an apple fell next to him, "No! No raining apples, apples do not rain. Water rains!".

Looking up, Pennywise finally noticed the other fox, " You! You need to stop raining apples!"

M'hurKh looked up at the screaming brute and tilted his helmetted head, kicking off from the branch and righting himself before he scooped the apple up in his tail. "M'hurKh just wanted the one." He hummed, chomping into the red fruit's side and sitting back on his haunches with his tail curled around his toes, apple in paws. He glanced back up at the tree, turning sideways. "Does the loud bright want an apple, too? M'hurKh might could get another..."

Pennywise tilted his head in thought and nodded, "Thats okay then, since apple raining on Pennywise wasn't on purpose. Is it a good apple? Pennywise would like an apple but only if it's a good apple. Bad apples are not good for Pennywise. "

Pennywise looked expectantly toward M'hurKh, waiting for his verdict on the apples. It did look good but he knew looks could be decieving and there was no point of wasting energy on a bad apple.

M'hurKh stared at the strange brute and the tree, before humming and staring at his own apple for a long moment. Finally, he gave a short, stout little nod and tossed the apple into the air. Spines ridgid, he tumbled forward and sliced through the fruit with his tail, before reclaiming the halves from the ground, keeping the side he'd started munching and offering the other crooked-cut half to Pennywise. "M'hurKh don' like heights. Not on the hardwater." He gave a cheap smile, all the same and munched into his half again, noting the little chunks of apple stuck on his tail for a nibble-tizer later.

Pennywise nodded and took the apple piece, it was completely reasonable to him even if he did just see the other fox up the tree earlier. "Pennywise don't like bats." He said, wanting to say something he didn't like since M'hurKh already listed something he didn't like.

" Pennywise wants to know what hardwater is. " Pennywise wiped his apple clean and took a bite. It was good enough but he could understand not wanting to go up to get another one if he didn't like heights. Giving the other fox a curious look, Pennywise tried to work out a way to get more apples down without going up to get them. He was very disappointed he forgot to bring his fireworks.

M'hurKh looked up at him, curled around his apple and lain on the ground now, as he gnawed at it. "Hardwater is this." The simple beast thumped the dirt a couple times. "Water M'hurKhy gets hurt on when he falls. Where the big greens stand high instead of low and hide tasty rare fruitses, instead of tasty, tricky fishies." He hummed. "Where the Pennywises and other pretty foxies live. They're not afraid of heights here, they're afraid of deeps in M'hurKhy's home. They think it'll swallow them up, that the toothies want them for dinner." He gave a shrug. "They're not wrong, but only when the toothies can't find enough foodses elsewhere."

Pennywise nodded as he listened, but half his mind was on his previous plan and grinning to himself, Pennywise pulled out a rubber chicken that was packed with soap bars from his leotard and looked up into the tree. Finding a few apple grouped together, he launched the chicken at them. His aim was true and soon several apples fell to the ground. Grabbing his rubber chicken, he quickly stuffed it back into his leotard and even though there was no way it should have fit without making lumps, it did.

Grabbing the apples, he headed back over to M'hurKh and laid down, setting the apples between them so he could have one if he wanted it. "Pennywise understand. These toothies need to stay away, Pennywise does not want to be eaten."

M'hurKh ooed at the brute's feats, smiling broadly as he continued to gnaw at his half an apple until it was only half a core. "It's okay. Pennywise is safe, on the hardwater. The toothies can't live here. They breathe the saltywater, and die if they leave it too long. It's sad when it happens, but they're not bad nommies." He gave a smile as he picked one of the apples and rolled it his way to chomp into it's red side, finned tail waving from one side to the other behind him.

Pennywise nodded and bit into another apple. These nommies the finned fox was talking about were making him think of his grandmothers pets. "Grandmother Harley has lots of sharp teeth bone cleaners. She threatened the Bats with them so he could see their smiling faces but you have to be upside down to see the smiles. Pennywise tosses them threats sometimes but they don't like swimming partners"

M'hurKh tilted his head at the brute. "Sharp teeth bone cleaners?" He murmured back, parrotting the brute. "Whats they look like? Like little toothies?" He hummed, sort of excited. "M'hurKhy wantsa see! ... Can M'hurKh see?" He hummed. "Dunno whats a bat, though. What's a bat?"

Jumping up excited Pennywise nodded! "Yes! Pennywise show you, Grammy Harley not care. They very small but swim in packs and eats very fast once they sense blood. They have red bellies and lots of small sharp teeth. Follow Pennywise, it's not far. "

Pennywise started walking away not even paying any attention to the apples he had left or if he was being followed, "Bats are bad, Pennywise don't like bats or men that are bats. Bats are small black pests with wings. Have you seen a rat? It's a rodent pest but bats are like rat pests but with wings that fly."

M'hurKh stared at the sky and briefly imagined flight before shuddering. "Why anything would wanna go so high off the hardwater?" He muttered, glancing over his shoulder and gathering the apples in a funnel he formed with his tail, to bring them with him while he held another in his maw, prancing like a puppy fresh from the groomer. With his maw full, he made no further conversation, but seemed happy enough to listen to Pennywise talking, particularly since the male enjoyed it so much.

(Fun fact: piranhas are only voracious like that in they're actually starving.)

Pennywise nodded as he continued to lead the way, "Flying isn't natural, Pennywise not want to fall. Hardwater is painful to land on...maybe Pennywise needs to make bat land on Hardwater."

He zigged and zagged through a few alleyways and went around a few streets he really didn't need to since he forgot he was leading someone for a few blocks but finally they arrived at Harley's home. "We're here!" Pennywise yelled before opening the door and heading inside. He lead the way inside making a quick stop in the kitchen where he grabbed a hunch of mean and a roast from the refrigerated that was probably for dinner and made his way toward the back of the house and a room that held a huge aquarium. "See! Lot's of bone cleaners! Pennywise feed them!"

(XD Well I have a feeling with Harley Quinn as an owner these would more than likely be starving every time Pennywise see's them.)

M'hurKh followed Pennywise with a hop and a skip in his step, occasionally dancing past as his mind wandered, before the bright male would enter his mindset again, and he'd hop and skip right back, watching as the pup grabbed the big chunks of meat, wondering what sort of landfish they came from, looking into the tank. "Ooooh, Sharp toothies!" He chortled, and stuck his nose in the water. It was only there for a few seconds before he bellowed and pulled off from the pool, whining and working the stranded piranha from his nose, whimpering some as he stared at the redness, and conveniently forgetting that he'd been warned about the sharpness of hungry teeth in the tank.
