Was it hours? Days? Weeks? Yuuka couldn't tell. But her encounter with Ibara was still fresh in her mind, as were the scars left by her own words to the Oni. Every time she thought of a way to help, she'd ask herself why she was even bothering. She didn't owe this girl anything, and it was obvious she wouldn't accept help anyway.
Even so...her thoughts always returned to that day.
But today, it was time to set aside these thoughts and travel to the human village, where she would collect some of the few things her garden couldn't provide. She'd made this trip countless times before, and has watched the human village grow over the years. Surprisingly, many Youkai beside herself have also started venturing to the village in recent years. This could be attributed to the introduction of the Spell Card system developed by the Hakurei Shrine Maiden; since then, humans seemed to be much more comfortable about being around Youkai, although it would still be dangerous for one to venture out alone at night.
Her tasks were nearly complete, and it was almost time to head home when she overheard a nearby child talking to his mother. He talked about seeing a girl with huge black wings and a long, flowing cape; his mother scolded him for telling such nonsense and hurried him along.
Yuuka could only think of one person who would fit that description. Perhaps this was the chance that she was looking for?((Went ahead and got the ball rollin'. If I need to make any changes, please let me know ASAP!))

The poor boy had gotten scolded over nothing. There was,indeed a giant winged girl with a flowing cape, though she had moved away from the more populouce area of the human village. Utsuho Reiuji had not been having a good day. Not a good week either.
After the incident where she leveled a whole street, her master had not be happy at all. In an act of mild rebeliousness, she had left her working spot and come here to rest. Now she sat on the ledge on an abandoned house, her wings tucked back under the cape, nostalgicly remembering the times when she had just been an average raven, and the such.
She might be heading home soon...before Rin came looking for her or something else happened...

Working with flowers so much, one tends to recognize scents. This smell, however, was unlike anything else in the village; it smelled of fire, of smoke, and of death. Obviously the scent of someone who lives in the Underground.
Yuuka followed this scent to a more remote part of the village, away from the small shops and stalls of the marketplace. Walking down an empty street, she finally spotted what she assumed to be the source: A pair of legs drifting over the side of an empty house's overhang, with one foot encased in an unknown material.
"You're quite a ways from home, Miss Hell Raven. Running errands for that estranged master of yours?"~ ~ ~ This isn't good, not good at all! Reiuji had abandoned her post, and with no one to help regulate and operate the furnace, work has come to a standstill! Orin climbed out of a smaller hole that lead to the Underground, away from the main entrance at the hot springs. She was following a trail of black feathers, feathers only left by her hot-headed friend when she was in distress.
Orin blazed a trail through the hills and forest with her cart, following the trail and leaving her own twin fires in her wake...

Utsuho looked down at the sudden comment,"Who cares enough to ask?"
"And, don't call Satori-sama that," she warned," or Else, I will torch you down where you stand."
Utsuho was really not playing around, and given her mood it wasn't that weird for her to actually threaten someone... Again

"Just a curious stranger." Yuuka replied with an almost mocking curtsy.
"It seems you're not in a mood for games. That's a shame, because I need something from you. You live in the Underground, so one can only assume that you must mingle with Oni from time to time. Tell me, does the name 'Ibara Hinarasu' mean anything to you?"

"Eh, don't antagonize me, I am not up for games." Utsuho grumbled, then her gazed sharpened at the name of Ibara. "What do you want with that woman? She is a no good folk, I would watch out."
"And if I know, something, why would I tell you?" the hell raven spread her wings, with a mocking grin," who are you that I would owe you anything?"

"Well, then I will cut to the chase," Yuuka replied, as she moved in front of the building and gazed up at Reiuji's winged form.
"You will tell me everything you know about Hinarasu, particularly why she has come to be hated so. This is not a request." she continued, while carefully pressing the tip of her parasol against the wall of the building Reiuji sat upon.

"Why would I do that?" Utsuho raised an eyebrow lazily looking down at Yuuka," And why would you care anyway? She is a no good crook who was vanished. Is there anything else that could possibly matter?"
Utsuho leaned back, and laid on the roof ignoring Yuuka," Also, you aren't particularly scary."

"That's a start," Yuuka said with a devious smile. "But it's not enough. Speak!"
With a quick upward thrust of her parasol, she sent a shockwave through the building, splitting the wooden wall and part of the roof in two, in an attempt to collapse it out from under Reiuji.

CRAAAAAACK
It wasn't because Utsuho wasn't well figured, rather the cement encasing in her foot, the grand wings, and the enourmous cannon amounted to a decent weight.
The already time rotten wall gave away under the weight and the further damaging. Crumpling like a pile of cards, Utsuho came down with all of the house, buried in the debris...
Silence
A ray of energy struck through the debris, shooting upwards towards the sky. Next a thunderour crash of the cannon comming down on the debris as the hell raven clawed her way out.
The cannon came up and pointed at Yuuka," I am reallly not talking anymore."
She fired.

Yuuka spread the parasol, shielding herself from Reiuji's blast and causing it to disperse.
"Now now, there's no need to throw a tantrum. And besides," she peaked over the brim, her red eyes casting a sort of sneer. "Think of how much shame you would bring to the Underground, should everyone learn you destroyed the Human village? I'm sure your master would come to -hate- you for that..."~ ~ ~ Orin had stopped atop a small hill to catch her breath, when out of nowhere, a beam of energy shot into the sky. This energy was all too familiar, and sent a wave a dread over her. "Oh no, oh no oh no! You baka Birdbrain!!"
She darted off towards the source of the shot, the Human Village, as fast as her feet could take her.((I just realized how horrifying this must be for Rin. Think about it: the entire plot of SA was Rin seeking out help to stop Reiuji's plans to destroy the surface. And now, out of sheer circumstance, it appears as though she'd gone to carry out her plans. Scary~))

The hell raven growled as she jumped out of the debris, she seemed to angry to respond. Even worse, Yuuka mentioned Satori hating her. "I could care less." Of course it was a bluff, pulling out a spell card. "I will end you with those humans! They are all garbage anyway!"
She begun to gather energy, but she had a bit till the explosion happene. She then flied dashed foward, taking a grab on Yuuka's umbrella,"You. are. Dieing."
Utsuho whacked the canon foward, already sparking it. In other words, a small blast was broken through by the own user, shattering the orb and making it as if the canon was warped in nuclear energy.
((Poor orin...I hope I am scary enough |3 ))

The Hell Raven's speed and power caught Yuuka off-guard, but she managed to side step most of Reiuji's strike. However, this also meant she had to let go of her parasol, which left her unprotected from any future attacks.
Yuuka grabbed the cannon, despite the nuclear energy burning her hand. "How sad - your loving master put so much faith into you, even after your failed attempt to destroy the surface. And now, you plan to throw away all her love and acceptance in the blink of an eye?" She moved closer to Reiuji's ear.
"You disgust me."
With her free hand, she threw a punch aimed at Reiuji's chest-bound "eye".

Utsuho saw as Yuuka grabbed the cannon. The inner explosion was far from reay, and she only boiled more as Yuuka commented, rubbing Satori's love in her face.
She seemed to get angrier, as if she wasn't already, but the punch to the chest eye pushed her back. The hell raven recoiled back, with a grunt, she yanked the cannon back then went to try to strike downwards.
"Don't you Dare!" She was almost growling as she spoke once more, wipping out once more.

Yuuka lept back, avoiding Reiuji's second blow. The sting in her hand was enough to warrent not getting struck by a full attack. This was exactly where she wanted her, however: Despite her power, the more enraged Reiuji is, the more mistakes she should make.
Yuuka's hands glowed, and sunflowers began to sprout randomly in the street, out of dirt and around stones. The flowers seemed to glow and explode when fully grown, showering the area with petal-danmaku.
