Bix had thought about it. He wanted to be fun and cool and nice without being obvious or geeky. He wanted to hang out with Molly again. He got blushy just thinking about it because the inklings of a crush were always a bit blown out of proportion in his mind when they were new. Tough luck making a plan. Sssss ssss ssss. Mina laughed at him. Thanks a lot for your support. Oh ssssexy snowflake, you could do better. For some reason I feel like you would say that no matter who it is.Because I am the perfect woman. Only me. Bix just shook his head as he stared at the blank text message. He gathered his thoughts and sent it after a few moments. Lucyal Hey Molly. Wanna hang out? Had a cool idea where we show one another cool stuff that we may not know about .. learning experience. Sound cool? Wanna hang out tomorrow? After hitting send he flopped back down in his bed with a sigh. He kind of an idea what he could show her but of course he was second guessing if it was impressive enough...

When Molly wasn’t training or on some kind of duty, she was reading the Lord of the Rings series that Bix had let her borrow. She was nearing the end of the first book now, and swung her feet back and forth as she lay on her stomach upon her bed. Curls bounced as she looked towards her desk as her phone went off and she carefully closed the book after securing her page to roll over and get her phone. She wondered if it would be another mission text and really hoped it wasn’t…so it was a pleasant surprise and relief to see it was from Bix. She read over the text…and then felt giddy. Vaska gagged, again. Oh, how flattering and exciting! It was with a rush that Molly texted back, having to erase and delete multiple times as she’d punch in the wrong letters before finally getting it right. iloveyouDIE Sure! I’d love to! : D I think that sounds like a wonderful and exciting idea as well! I’ll start brainstorming and gathering things together tonight! When and where should I meet you tomorrow?

Bix jumped a little when he got the response. He hadn't expected to get an answer so quickly. What elssse is there to do around here? Mina sounded hopelessly bored by this cute crap. Bix just frowned at his 'feminine side's' opinion and only took a second to text Molly back. It had to be neutral ground so as not to become awkward but also be private enough where they wouldn't be bothered by others (or made fun of for looking at more LotR stuff). Lucyal Meet me outside the dorms right after lunch. It should be nice out.

Molly had been about to put her phone down again, when it buzzed her hand again. < Oh dear Jack, did you just squeal?> … Molly giggled nervously and looked at her phone before eagerly texting away another response. iloveyouDIE Alright! I will see you then! Have a good night, Bix, sleep well! <3 She sent that off, and then fretted. Was it bad to put a heart emoticon there? He wouldn't think she was dumb, would be? She couldn’t help herself…she was really excited! Vaska made another noise of complete and utter annoyance in her head before she set her phone down and looked around her pretty bare room. Uh oh…what was she going to bring to Show and Tell? Oh dear…

Did she text a heart to him? Looossssser. He tried not to think about it. In the internet world he came from, throwing hearts around was meaningless. People were hugging, smooching, glomping, unfing.. But he'd been away from all of that for so long now that even the tiniest textual affection made him guess and second guess. Lucyal Cool! I'm excited. Night ;D Winky-face could cover this one. Good ol' winky-face. ---------------------- Bix actually rushed through his morning routine of jogging and breakfast. He skipped the gym and went straight on to showering in order to go back to his room quickly and find some good stuff to show Molly. He ended up with some big books and a comic or two. He didn't have much of anything amazing except for his family's picture in his old wallet. He didn't think about it much as he stuffed it in his pocket and headed outside the dorms at the appointed time to meet her. He was actually carrying a small bag with some little bonus goodies in it but they were tucked away. The albino hunter bobbed on his heels then leaned against the wall and then began nervously twirling the end of his braid as he waited for her.

Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Molly got her good night’s rest, and then went through her usual morning routine with a troubled expression. Goodness. The more she thought about it, she really didn’t have much to show Bix. When she had signed up for Deus, she had more or less left what was once her home with only the clothes on her back, really. Anything she wanted to bring was deemed too big and thus had to be left behind. Now, having been awake for a few months and only gone on leave once, she still didn’t really have much in her room, and she had already showed Bix her fiddle. This was terrible. Still, she managed with what few items she did have. Maybe she’d uh…be able to tell Bix more things than show. The Mist trainee happened to be coming from the cafeteria after eating lunch, shouldering her small book bag she often packed for missions now a days. Molly looked up as she approached the dorms, and easily caught sight of the albino hunter. Her face broke out into a wide smile and she picked up her pace more, waving at him despite the fact she wasn’t that far away. “ Hi Bix!” She came to stop in front of him, just absolutely beaming. “ It’s so good to see you! How are you today?”

Bix quickly smoothed his coat and shirt and adjusted his belt and pants when he saw Molly coming. When she arrived he was doing his best to look casual but probably only looked like he was leaning at a strange angle on the wall. "Hey Molly." He popped upright and grinned. "I'm good now. I'm glad you came." Why wouldn't she again? This was just two normal friends hanging out. "...because it would suck for you not to come. ... ... because I was looking forward to doing this." Somewhere in his head something told him to stop talking. It sure wasn't Mina either, her raucous hissed laughter was bouncing around in his brain and making it hard not to be embarassed. "I figured since it was nice out we could go along the path to the beach and maybe find a hill to sit on?" Despite the swirling mist around the island, it had a nice view if you could find a spot. "I got some cool books to show you. How do you like Lord of the Rings? Did you finish the Hobbit?"

“ I’m really glad I came too! But uh, I’m even gladder you invited me!” She was smiling like a fool still…and now even blushing lightly? “ Oh, I wouldn’t stand you up! Not at all! I wouldn’t even dream of it!” She shook her head vigorously, curls whipping back and forth. “ I was really looking forward to it too! It was hard getting to sleep last night!” She giggled a bit, and adjusted her bag, bringing a hand up to her cheek now. “ Oh wow! That sounds wonderful! I’d ready to go whenever you are. Ah! I’m loving it so far!” She gushed. “ I’m almost finished with the first book, I’ve been taking my time and soaking things in…and ah, I did! I read that one first, since it’s the prequel!”

Bix started to walk, then paused when they started talking, and then started walking again. There was an awkward start-stop again until they both finally fell into step. He was smiling and a little pink in the face. Mina, had enough of laughing, was now attempting to instruct him mentally on not being a doof. Act smooth.I'm trying.Nothing about what you are doing is sssssmooth."I'm glad you like them. I think it's crazy amazing that one man invented all that stuff. Even the languages! And the songs and everything." He adjusted the bags he was carrying. "Have you done any duties here? Some of them are good for reading. Pod duty and lighthouse duty. Almost nothing ever slips through defenses." Almost. "Well except Christmas but that was..." He remembered, vaguely, seeing her there and not knowing who she was. He of course had been dressed like Santa and was necking with Julie. AWKWARD.

Molly would smile and nod her head whenever they’d pause and then walk, and at some points she was even giggling, ignoring the gagging in the back of her head. Eventually they settled into a smooth walk and Molly had her head tilted attentively as Bix spoke. “ Oh, I know! I’m rather speechless, actually, at that thought that one person did all this.” She was very admiring too. If Molly had a fraction of the talent he did? Man, she’d be a really happy camper. “ Oh, yes! I’ve done a few! I’m on kitchen duty a lot though, but another I did was the underwater observation post! That’s a really good place to read as well. Have you been down there yet, Bix? It’s amazing! It’s like going to an aquarium! You see all sorts of fish!” She could gush about that almost all day. “ Oh…but I’ve been doing a lot of reading before I go to bed~” At the mention of Christmas, Molly’s expression saddened a bit. Yeah…she remember that creature that broke through the gate and longed for home…and of the mother who took her son back… “ But that’s…not a common occurrence, huh?” Hopefully.

"Oh see I haven't done that one yet!" Bix sort of hadn't for a reason. He'd grown up far away from the ocean and while he thought it was amazing, something about the unknown depths made him uneasy. "Sounds cool. I'll have to sign up for it sometime." Maybe with Molly? Their walk wasn't a far one. The path from the buildings curled around the cliffs and then took a winding path down to the beach. Bix veered off of the path while still in view of the common area and picked a nice view of the beach under a tree. His blanket was more like a bedsheet but he had it folded in a perfect square and he set it down on the grass. "Voila." He then plopped and dropped his bag next to him. "Back on topic.. no it hasn't happened much. Christmas.. and then I think the death-ponies." Was she in his trial? He didn't know. "The horsemen were here. Or at least their kids or something. When I was in my trial, they were there screwing things up for everyone. Whenever we fight those Amityville kids, those horsemen are with them." He frowned in remembrance of the fire. Why was it always fire? And the white pony who wanted them to bow to him and the other squad killed Gale instead. He didn't know it was Gale at the time.. but it was still messed up. He'd spaced out for a moment, looking at her but clearly not quite there. A side effect of being a hunter. When he snapped back into reality he simply smiled. "Wanna see what I brought?"

“ I really recommend it!” Molly chirped, and followed the albino Hunter off the path and down to where he wanted. She really liked going down to the beach. Having lived in the city for the majority of her life, seeing nature like this was amazing to her. The young woman paused as Bix pulled out a bed sheet blanket thing and looked rather impressed. Wow! This was… so nice. She waited until he sat down first before joining him, placing her bag next to her as well. She tilted her head as he spoke about Death Ponies, the Horsemen, and Amityville, and her expression pulled into a frown. “ Ah…I see…” Yikes…there was so much that was over her head still…maybe she should also start reading more of the Deus Ex guides and such? That didn’t seem like a bad idea. She snapped out of her thought before her companion did, and waited patiently until he seemed to snap back as well. Hello topic change! Molly wasn’t going to argue though, and nodded her head as she smiled. “ Of course! I’m really excited.” Her smiled widened and since it seemed they were going to be here a while, she started to get comfortable, and pulled off her gloves, stashing them into her coat pocket.

"Cool." Bix perked and pulled out a hardcover book with a flimsy cover made of nothing more than what looked like parchment. It was actually just old and worn after years of being flipped through. There was a large intricately drawn dragon, the lines heavy and black, and the colors faded in age. It said 'A TOLKIEN BESTIARY'. "I brought this from home. It's like my favorite book ever. It's like an encyclopedia of all the races and people and monsters from Lord of the Rings." He passed it over to her. "The pictures are the best part."

Molly leaned forward bit curiously as Bix pulled out some of his items, and looked awfully impressed at the book that looked like it been through a lot. She also looked incredibly impressed that it was a memento from home, and then looked a bit worried as he held it out to her. Oh dear…she’d have to be very carefully with it! Molly gingerly took it and straight out her legs, resting the book flat on her lap before she carefully opened it and looked through it. “ Wow…” She gasped, and grinned as she came across one of the intricate illustrations, and took a long moment to just simply admire them. “ They really are!” She looked up at him. “ How long have you had this for? I’m really curious!”

"Since I was ummm... maybe ten?" He twirled his braid idly, a bit of a regular bait of his. He'd run the tuft of hair over and over through his fingers. "This old guy in the neighborhood passed away. He wasn't very friendly or anything so I don't remember him but his family had a house sale to get rid of his stuff and I got this. It was like a dollar or something." He shrugged. "The internet said it's 'innacurate' to the canon of the books but I don't care much." His nerd moment of talking 'canon' made Mina immediately break out into laughter in his head. "Did you bring anything from home? Oh .. yeah.. your violin." He nodded knowingly. He wanted to ask her what home was like but his nervousness stopped him. What if she got upset for some reason?
