Lila sat looking up a tree thinking back on how one could never keep her and Tendaji out of them when she was a cub. She truly missed her family especially her brother she was so close to. She had Siri now and Matlal as well and they were good for keeping her spirits up, but at the same time something was missing. A lot of somethings really.
She sighed lying down in the dirt and looking up at the sky. In that moment she wanted to cry, but at the same time, she was sure she had cried quite enough. She huffed and rolled onto her back stretching out before bringing her paws to rest on her chest.
"Why can life be like it was," she said to the sky.

Rahisi was out as usual for him just checking out new lands and seeing what all he could get into if anything. He was wandering through a bit of long grass that was obstructing his view but as soon as the grass cleared away he spotted a lioness near a tree laying on her back.
She was staring up at the sky and Rahisi's friendly ways had him heading in her direction in a matter of moments. He didn't know the meaning of stranger danger and barely ever believed a lion to be bad until after he'd spoken to them first.
He trotted straight up to the lioness laying on the ground and stopped a few feet from her with a welcoming grin on his face. "Greetings!" He stated simply and awaited the lionesses response.

Lila frowned hearing the trotting of paws headed for her thinking it was Matlal. He had so much energy, although she remembered a time when she had been the same, now she found him a bit much at time. She turned her head lazily, looking to the oncomer, but found it wasn't Matlal, which had her slightly alarmed.
Lila was tempted to bolt, but she stopped a distance from her and gave a cheery greeting, so she relaxed. "Morning," she mumbled, "you really shouldn't startle other's like that. If I had scream my friend would have come running."
She gave a grin, but pushed it away. She had spent far to much time around the demons, the statement she made had not been funny, she knew she shouldn't be smirking at the thought. She was like that, not at all.

Rahisi seen her grin as one that meant she was being half hearted with her statement so he returned the grin. "Sorry if I startled you. It wasn't my intention. I came over to say hello and see if you might need a little company." He said still keeping the grin all through his words.
He was being friendly and friendly is what he would stay. He thought the lioness was very lovely and such a lovely lioness was bound to be a kind one. He rarely ever believed that under beauty was an ugly personality.

Lila arched an eyebrow, not use to such an encounter. She had hidden and secluded herself for so long she was not sure how to go about his offer, not especially after what Nyota had done.
"I guess I wouldn't mind a bit of company," she said very cautiously looking over to where she knew Siri and Mat should be. She felt a little ridiculous as she was older than both. What happened to her fealessness.
"What's you name," she asked not really willing to give her's until she had his. She sat up so she would talk to him better and looked him over taking in his colors and marking. He was very unique looking, though he reminded her of someone she once knew, probably a playmate from her cubhood, or a member of her old pride.

Rahisi was glad she was willing to give him a chance. He had in the past met with negativity but it never stopped him from trying because among the misses he'd had there had been several home runs.
"My name is Rahisi Azizi but you may simply call me Rahisi if you like. May I request your name?" He replied pleasantly. With his paws crossed, mentally, he hoped she would keep up the friendliness and give her name to him.

Lila nodded at the name given to her, happy to have given a shortened version, but still wanting to shorten it more. She was the queen of nicknames and well it had been quite some time she had given someone a nickname. Even though Matlal had a short name, she still used the shortened, though it hadn't been a name she given him but instead one everyone called him.
"May name is Lilavati, but you may shorten it if you like. Most call me Lila, but I am not really opposed to other shortenings."
She gave a small smile, "would you mind terribly if I called you Rah?"

Rahisi was pleased when she gave her name and he was surprised by just how beautiful her name was. "Lila is such a beautiful name I think I will stick with that shortening." He replied.
Rahisi couldn't help but smile back at the sweet small smile she was giving when she spoke. "I like Rah. I wouldn't mind at all if you called me Rah." It seemed to him as though she was opening up in a small way to him and he was very happy to see her adorable personality.

Lila smiled more openly although she was still very cautious of this new male, but she was happy her excepted her nickname for him. "Thank you," she said responding to his compliment and him allowing her to call him Rah.
"So Rah, what is it that you are doing out this way? Are you looking for the dancing felines as well. Matlal says they make music and dance to bring the rains and he really wants to find them."
She frowned briefly feeling she may have said too much, she didn't want to fall into the same trap twice, even if Rah seemed very kind. Her frowned deepened hating how much she had changed behind the whole situation, she didn't even think about how the other could think she was frowning at him.

Rahisi was already finding himself happy at her smile. She was so adorable when she smiled. He loved seeing the genuine smiles of the ladies when he'd managed to be the one to bring that smile out. It let him know in a way that the lady was opening up to him and letting him in to be considered a friend.
Her question of the dancing felines caught his attention intensely. He'd never heard of any felines that dance but now that she's brought it up him he was really curious to see it himself. "Dancing felines? I've never seen felines dance. It sounds like it might be fun." He stated before he continued to answer her first question. "I was actually just out wandering around when I spotted you and thought I'd come say hi. I am intrigued about the dancing felines now. You and your friend Matlal are looking for the dancing felines?"
Rahisi's ears drooped a bit as Lila frowned. He wasn't quite sure why she was frowning but he was concerned of what the cause could be but he knew better than to try and pry unless she brought it up on her own. He'd made that mistake a few times and got his head almost bit off so to speak.

Lila looked up to see him looking at her and realized she had spaced out a little. She smiled and tried to think of what he had been saying before giving a nervous laugh. She really shouldn't have spaced out.
"Um... uh yeah Matlal, myself and my brother are looking for the pride. Matlal said he saw the pride in a vision. All of his siblings can do something similar and he thinks it is near to here, but we aren't really to certain. He says he hasn't seen anything lately."
Lila lay down once more, "It sound very intriguing, maybe just the thing I need," she said not really speaking to him as she rolled onto her back. "I use to be the most adventurous lioness." She sighed lightly.

Rahisi was becoming more and more interested in all she was saying with every word she spoke. So her friend Matlal could see the pride in visions. He'd heard of lions that could do such things but never met one himself and to know one was near by made him extremely curious now to meet him as well.
"It sounds like you are on an adventure right now to me." He stated after her comment of being an adventurous lioness at one time. He could see it even though she couldn't, the adventure she was having just to find the pride of the dancing felines. "It may not be an exciting adventure at the moment but that's what it looks like to me. An adventure to find the pride of dancing felines."

Lila blinked not really realizing she had voiced her thought aloud. She craned her head back to look at the male and offered up a smile. It was a long time since someone, someone who didnt even know her tried to make her feel better.
"I guess your right. I hadn't even though of it like that. Who knows maybe it will be quite the adventure and I will feel like my old self."
She grinned, "Do you like adventure? Maybe you could join us. You seem like a nice enough lion." It was her way of saying she didn't really trust him, but she was willing to get to know him. It would be nice to have more friends like she had we she was younger.

Rahisi's ears came back up and he couldn't help feeling happy that he had given a bit of hope to someone who seemed like she could really use it.
Her offer to join her and he companions surprised him but he didn't need much time to think on it at all. Within just moments he was nodding his head. "I would love to join your group. I love the idea of adventure and new things." He stated with a bit of excitement in his voice.
He didn't figure he would be completely trusted right off the bat but he knew he could prove himself to be genuine and trustworthy to her and her friend. He had been interested in seeing the dancing felines and now he would get to see them if they were all able to track them down.

Lila was a bit surprised to hear him except, but not at all upset by it. She simply nodded and rolled back over, standing and stretching. "Great, it will go faster with more eyes and ears to help in our search."
She turned and headed in the direction of Mat and Siri, "Come one I'll introduce you to Mat and my brother Siri."
