“You know what…” Pink Lemonade began as she squashed a lemon beneath her hoof. “We should open up our own bar together.” She tasted the juice, nose wrinkling at the sour taste. “Once we’re grown that is.” With a smile she grabbed another lemon, slicing it neatly in half. “It will be a place where every phony can come and get a good drink. Lemonade, fruit punch… even that horrible alcohol stuff adults seem to like. What do you think?” She imagined herself serving drinks and was quite pleased by the mental image.

Fruit Punch blinked, surprised for a moment when his sister suggested they should open up a bar together one day. When it finally clicked in his head the little unicorn pranced around a bit. "Sis, you are a genius! I'm gonna be a bartender, and it's gonna be awesome!" His multi-colored eyes shone for a moment as he envisioned himself as an adult being the coolest phony in town serving all the ladies fantastic drinks. Yup! This needed to happen now! "We can practice now, and by the time we're grown we'll be masters!"

Pink Lemonade nodded knowingly. Other Phony’s might be content to remain little forever, but she was going to think about the future! She was pleased Fruit Punch seemed to think so too, even if she could guess his main motivation was all the female attention he would get as a suave bartender. “We’ll have to work hard.” She warned. “We’ll have to learn about all kinds of drinks and even discover new ones.” She dumped a cup of sugar into her lemon juice. “But it’s going to be so much fun!”

"Ffft, I'm not scared of work! I'll get a huge reward for it so I'm pumped!" He nodded matter-of-factly, absolutely psyched for this idea now. "We can invent our own drinks when we're really good, and maybe we can get Mama Lemon and Mama Candy to help teach us!" There was no way their moms wouldn't support them, and even if they didn't, he wasn't worried one bit since he had his favorite sibling to work with. "Do you Lemon Peel and Banana Creme will want to join in, too? Then we could have a whole family thing going on!" That sounded kinda cool in his opinion, at least.

“I’ve just decided; I’m going to create a candy cane cocktail for Mama Candy.” Pink Lemonade grinned. She hoped they both of their moms would help them learn about drinks and bartending. Mama Candy could be especially flighty sometimes. “And a special lemon lime one too.” She hadn’t even considered asking the other two, and now she nodded. “We can ask them. Maybe they can make specials desserts or… other things that you need to do in bars.” Obviously more research would be required. “It will be great.” Smiling, she slid over a cup of her freshly made lemonade to Fruit Punch. “Try it?”

"If you make something for Mama Candy, then I've got to make something for Mama Lemon..." Fruit Punch paused to think about what exactly would suit the tomboy between their two mothers as he took a sip from his sister's lemonade. His face screwed up in just a matter of seconds as he swallowed and the redhead immediately pushed the cup as far away from him as his little phony legs could. "...Something that tastes better than that! Too sweet, Pink! Too sweet. Bleh." Fruit Punch shook his head as attempted to clear the ridiculously sugary taste from his mouth. "I think you and I need a lot of practice."

Pink Lemonade sighed with disappointment. Another dud. “I bet Mama Candy wouldn’t say it was too sweet, but oh well…” She would just have to make another batch. “Don’t worry, next time it will be perfect.” This was just a minor setback and Pink was determined to get it right. “We’ll start thinking about drinks for Mama Candy and Mama Lemon and meet back to discuss in two days time.” Pink touched her nose to her brother’s in a companionable gesture. “But right now, I need to go get some more lemons!” With a hoof wave, the little Phony trotted off.
