should i sell my tippy and get an Ion?...or should i stick with my A-5?

Well if your playing speedball/airball the Ion would be the good move. If you are playing scenairo/woodsball I'd stick with the A5. The A5 is one of the best markers for woodsball/scenairo.

I agree, I own tippmann a-5 with e grip and its still hard to get use to during air ball... turbo is so fun xd

Well then a Ion would be more suited for what you looking to do. You could use the A5 if you wanted to but its alittle hard to play with a marker like it on a on a speedball field.For a tourny marker your gonna want something that small profile,light,A.C.E,fast,and relieable.

(I know some people may jump on me on how Ions aren't relieable, but I have a Ion and I've had no problems with mine what so ever and I play atleast once a month and I've had it for about 8 months if not more.Shows you sometimes it can be user error and not marker error.)

I would go with a 06 LCD Wrath.......But the Ion are pretty good, and waaaaayy better than the A-5's in just about every way!!!

depends on your game. If you mostly play Airball/speedball/hyperball, the Ion is the way to go. Scenario/Woodsball is a much better pick.
