Bow and Arrows - A typical longbow of around 4', made of yew. Light but strong, which Lisanna carries on her back with a quiver of arrows. The bow Lisanna used to use was lost in the destruction of Edea's mansion, but she has since obtained this replacement bow which is of a similar excellent standard to her previous one.

Short sword - Rarely used, often only in cases where she is forced to fight in close combat.

Spear - { Divine Justice } A spear like weapon that can only be used when Zethar is summoned. It is incredibly light and the blade is very sharp. Ice magic can be channeled through it and its power is enhanced by the spear. If the blade touches flesh in this state it causes severe ice burns.

Biography: In a curious twist of fate Lisanna actually comes from a long line of sorceresses. However she, for some reason, did not inherit any kind of magical power whatsoever. She herself doesn't even know about her unusual lineage, since she was raised almost entirely by SeeD. Her entire family perished during the Sorceress war and Lisanna was just an infant when it ended. There was much debate at the time but eventually it was decided that it would be wrong kill an innocent child, and that it would be better to wait and see if she would gain any magical powers as she grew up. When SeeD was formed shortly after the end of the war Lisanna was five years old and hadn't yet shown any signs of becoming a sorceress. However she was placed in the care of SeeD, at the Garden in Trabia, who raised her and watched her carefully. If it turned out she did gain magical powers they would then be able to act quickly to get rid of her.

Little Lis was totally unaware of her dark history, or the risk that surrounded her, as she grew up. She was an innocent, endearing child with a big smile who charmed everyone she met. As time went by and SeeD grew to fear her less, realising she had no magical power, they began to train her to work for them. This was the only life Lisanna had ever known, so she simply accepted it. She didn't have much ability as a fighter, however, since she was simply too weak. Being rather small and slight in stature, and with very little physical strength and a mild temperament, she was just unsuitable for combat. She also had frequent bouts of illness as a child, which may have accounted for carrying her physical weakness on into her adolescence. After going through a variety of weapons with little success Lis eventually found, to her surprise and delight, that she had some skill with a bow. Since then she has trained almost daily to improve this, and now she is adept at using the weapon. If she ever found herself in battle without a bow it would be, to her, like fighting with one arm. She has near perfect precision and aim, and having had so much practice can shoot arrows in rapid succession. Training with the bow has increased her strength, speed and stamina somewhat, particularly in the upper body, so she is no longer as weak as she used to be.

When Lisanna became a qualified SeeD operative they still continued to watch her carefully in case she ever gained magical powers, though she was mostly trusted to work for them. She had spent all her life in Trabia Garden and once she graduated she decided that she should get some more experience elsewhere in the world. Thus, she went to stay and work at Winhill Garden. After the traumatic events of the next few years (see below) Lisanna found herself living in the town of Winhill, in her brother Salem's mansion, taking care of her baby daughter, training her sorceress powers and aiding the Rebels.

Attire: Lisanna prefers dresses over any other form of clothing, even when fighting as they allow her a lot of freedom for movement. Generally her favourite colours are white and blue.


Mental Characteristics


Personality: Before the events that occurred whilst she worked and resided at Winhill, Lisanna was seen as a simple, kind hearted soul who was perhaps not entirely suited to the life of a soldier. She was typically remembered for being friendly and easily approachable. As a common sight around the Garden she was cheerful and laid back most of the time and enjoyed the company of others. Despite her lack of physical strength she could be quite strong willed and stubborn when she wanted to be, especially when fighting. She was never an aggressive person however, and would prefer to solve conflicts in more peaceful ways. Previously she was very trusting and receptive to the feelings of others, however over recent years she has had to become considerably more hard hearted and reserved. She now places priority on her child and herself above all else.

Weaknesses: Lacks physical strength, emotional and has a very low pain threshold.
Goals: To raise her daughter somewhere they can be safe and happy

Talent/Skills: Light and flexible due to her small frame, fairly quick on her feet.
Battle Overview: Lisanna is capable of remaining calm and level headed in battle for the most part. With her considerable skill as an archer she excells at long distance attacks. However she is weak at close combat. Although light and fast when moving, she is easily physically outmatched and will try to avoid hand to hand conflict if possible. She now tends to rely on her magic during combat, attacking with powerful spells from a distance.
Limit Breaks:

Heaven's Arrow - Would typically be the last arrow in her quiver, used in a life or death situation. Upon drawing it (if her will is strong enough) the arrow point will be surrounded by a curious white light, like some kind of spiritual energy. And when released said arrow will penetrate anything it touches, regardless of armor or any other physical defenses. The light of Heaven's Arrow is so pure it will cleanse any evil it touches and causes an explosion. It can reduce a powerful defense, weapon or even an enemy to ashes.

Heaven's Gate - Lisanna casts a powerful shield of ice that can repel even the most dangerous of attacks, and further more allows the attack to rebound upon its caster. It is dependent the strength of her will how long the shield lasts. If her conviction wavers the shield will shatter.

Heaven's Storm - Lisanna uses her telekinetic powers to create powerful, fast moving winds that surround her or the opponent completely for several meters and combines this with ice magic, making a bitterly cold, swirling blizzard-like storm that can sweep up anything caught inside it. Enemies caught in this will typically either be impaled by sharp shards of ice debris flying around or launched upwards and out of the blizzard storm at a great height.

Heaven's Edge - Essentially this is Lis using her telekinetic powers on a great scale to cause an earthquake that tears the earth up all around her, causing massive gaping chasms to open up and any structures on the ground will be shaken to ruins or swallowed up by the chasms.

Heaven's Wrath - 12 ice magic spears, similar to Lisanna's Divine Judgement, appear around the enemy and fire off one at a time with rapid succession from various directions to impale and freeze the opponent. If they miss, they explode upon impact with whatever they hit and freeze the area around it.

Attack: Charge - Attacks the opponent head on, usually leaping on them and bearing them down, fighting with teeth and claws like a wolf.
Final Attack: Blizzard - Creates a stormy, blizzard like environment with a severe drop in the immediate vicinity's temperature, and high winds. Zethar's breath becomes cold enough to actually freeze objects, which then almost instantly shatter into tiny pieces and get caught up in the wind, adding to the blizzard effect. Physical attacks double in strength.

Personality
Zethar is probably unusual for a GF in that he doesn't like being summoned or being required to fight, and he tends to be grumpy whenever he is. For the most part he doesn't speak very much and when he does he can be quite condescending and harsh. Behind all that, however, he does actually care about Lis and has a soft spot for her. He will obey any order given to him by her, though he might complain or argue with her if he feels like it is a bad idea. He doesn't seem to have any personal goals aside from leading a quiet life and keeping Lis safe. Towards other people and GF's he is generally stoic and once he's made up his mind to fight an opponent he will do so without hesitation or doubt, showing no compassion.

Attack:Carbuncle doesn't seem to have an attack at all. Rather, Carbuncle casts cure on allies as well as support magic.
Final Attack: Ruby Light- The user is protected by Reflect, Shell, and Protect effectively neutralizing most damage that can come his way.

Personality
Carbuncle is, similiar to Kalay, very relaxed as a GF and prefers napping to actually doing what a GF is probably considered to be. She might come across as more of a 'pet' than a gf, and she enjoys the attention that way even if she is greatly beyond that of a pet. Carbuncle is very friendly and will go out of her way for attention. She has a habit of being protective of those whom she cares for.

Personality
Phaos is a mysterious GF who doesn't always obey commands and seems to come and go whenever he pleases. He can be infuriating for Lis in that he doesn't always give a straight answer and likes to test her. He seems to enjoy displaying his abilities when fighting.

Two Years of Waiting


After being awakened as a sorceress by Edea, Lisanna soon found out that Winhill was destroyed and any desire to remain in Galbadia was quickly extinguished. She wanted nothing more to do with Edea. Fortunately Salem took her to stay at his mansion in Winhill, where Lisanna hid herself away and became a recluse. She was devastated by the loss of Winhill garden and all her former allies and friends, as well as saddened by the realisation that Kalay had escaped and abandoned her.

And only a few weeks later she discovered, to her dismay, that she was in fact carrying his child. The next few months were pretty rough for her as she attempted to deal with being pregnant and depressed, her brother being the only thing that kept her going during this time. He managed to distract her somewhat by helping to train her newly acquired sorceress powers. After roughly six months had passed Lisanna had started to get out in Winhill a little more and it was then that she had the shock of her life in meeting Kalay again, purely by chance. Breaking down, she confessed to him all that had happened to her and after hearing his own recounting of what he'd been doing since their last meeting, things seemed to be okay between them. He couldn't stay and neither could she leave with him, but to her relief he promised he would return to see her and the child whenever he could.

After 3 more months Lisanna gave birth to a girl, whom she named Nyale. She raised the child with Salem's help, considering that Kalay wasn't around too much. Lis constantly held the fear that Edea would come for her daughter eventually, knowing that she would want to use the child of a sorceress for her own purposes. Whenever she saw Kalay she desperately requested to leave with him, only for him and Salem to both flatly refuse. This made Lisanna grow somewhat resentful of both of them, frustrated that they couldn't understand she and the child weren't much more safe at Salem's from Edea than they were anywhere. Lisanna hated feeling like a sitting duck, waiting for the time when Edea would come and take her daughter. Nevertheless with no other options she remained at the mansion, continuing to train her own sorceress powers and raise her child, as well as occasionally aiding Salem in his assistance to the Rebels.

Sorceress powers; Lisanna's natural affinity lies with ice magic and it is this elemental power which she excels at wielding as a sorceress. She can almost instantly freeze most objects, conjure and manipulate ice to use as weapons, or simply make it snow if she so desires. She also has some telekinetic ability, being able to affect many physical things with only the power of her mind, such as moving objects in the air and creating and destroying structures. As a sorceress she also has the ability to fly due to her wings, which she can make invisible whenever she chooses. Instead of having two large wings, she instead has six smaller wings, 3 on each side of her back protruding from her shoulder blades. Lisanna finds that having six allows her to have easy maneuverability in the air, giving her great control over her movements. These wings are pure white but the ends of the feathers change to blue and then to black at the very tip.
