This is a small ORP for any characters that want to hang out in the town square of Sunny Haven. Although it's a bright and sunny spring day, there's a chance of rain later on in the day. Will you head there after visiting one of the shops? Perhaps planning to meet with a friend? It is entirely up to your character.

Miles wasn't entirely unpacked, but what else was new? (Nothing, if you asked his parents. They'd probably ended up with half of his belongings when they moved, and he wouldn't realize it until months after he'd settled in. Oh, well.) Still, just because his things were in... relative disarray, he'd say, didn't mean that he couldn't go out and enjoy the sunshine a bit!
Truth be told, he'd settled into a familiar pattern, and that was living out of his suitcases and only unpacking what he needed as he needed it, but no one needed to know that. He was a grown man who could take care of himself, even if taking care of himself meant that his room at the inn was in a constant state of chaos as far as organization went. He didn't know anyone well enough to invite them inside, so it didn't matter as far as he was concerned.
Besides, he'd just packed all the stuff. Right now, he knew where everything was! ... exactly where he'd packed it.
Stuffing one hand in his pocket, he used the other to shade his eyes against the sun, smiling a little as he approached the square. It was bright and sunny and perfect right now, but there was a chance for rain later... which was just fine by him as well. Plants and people needed rain just about equally, and he'd spend the early afternoon enjoying the good weather regardless of whether it was going to disappear later or not.
Just because it was such a fine day, he began to whistle, meandering his way into the square to look for either A) a nice place to settle down and nap or B) someone to talk to.
You know, whichever presented itself first.

Ren had the day off thankfully. She was getting cabin fever living in the Inn and working in the Inn. Everything she needed was within those walls and often didn't go outside when she worked. Luckily the weather was fantastic today.
Renee had already been in the square, sitting on... Or rather stretched out on a bench with her eyes closed. She was under a tree's leafy branch that only allowed a few specs of lightly. As she laid on her back, she was able to hear the foot steps of someone coming by. It must have gotten later then she had thought.
The young woman hadn't meant to nap, but she liked to watch the light through the leaves. Her lulled closed and easily an hour or two have passed. She wanted to open her eyes and see who was coming, but she just couldn't bring herself too.
"Wonderful weather huh?" Her voice was probably a bit groggy.

It looked like it would be the person! Pausing, he pushed his sleeves halfway up his arms, canting his head at the young woman sprawled out on the bench, mentally trying to place her. Though he hadn't really met anyone yet, having just arrived, he knew he'd seen her in passing when he ducked in or out of the Inn, so that either meant she worked there or she was a newcomer like him. (He was kind of hoping she was new to the place. It'd be nice to make a friend who also didn't know anything about the town, so they could discover it together. Of course, it'd be nice to make a friend regardless, so he wasn't going to be picky.) Either way, she was there and he was there, and he might as well make some conversation.
Stopping next to her, posture relaxed, he said cheerfully, "It's a beautiful day, yeah. I was just thinking I'd like to find a place to stretch out and nap if nothing better came along."
He eyed her feet and considered nudging them over to take a seat. Well, she was talking to him, wasn't she? So she probably wouldn't mind. Leaning, he tapped the soles of her shoes lightly, asking, "D'you mind? I'm Miles, by the way. Just moved here." She wasn't looking at him, but he smiled anyway. "I think I've seen you around a couple of times, but we were always going in different directions."

Watching his silhouette through her eye lids, she mustered the energy to open an eye and peer at him. He was a tall, or well it seemed so from where she was laying. "Yeah well, I though I would take a nap too, but now I can't even gather myself to get up and so something productive." She cleared her throat and was surprised when he tapped her boots. She slid her feet off the bench and fixed her dress. Once he sat down she kicked her legs up and over his lap.
"Oh yeah?" She questioned, opening her other red eye. getting a better look at him. "Oh yeah... Now that you mention it." She gave a yawn trying to wake herself up and shivered. "You've been around the Inn right? I live and work there. But I think I actually arrived after you. But the boss certainly has kept me busy I haven't had much time to see or do anything."
As a gentle breeze came through Ren looked off to the side. It was almost sickening to her how peaceful this place was still. Compared to the city... It was hard adjusting to the lifestyle change. In the city she would sometimes wake up in places she didn't know how she got there. But here, she never felt scared. There was always someone being watchful of her, it was like some huge family. She hated it, but knew it was for her own good. Maybe this Miles character could be a partner in crime so to speak.
"Miles... " Yes, maybe he could be of some fun for her. Normally she would have kept to herself maybe even have just left. But he was new too. "Why did you come here?"

Being social wasn't something that Sheldon really found interesting. He didn't really enjoy going into the fresh air of Sunny Haven to visit his fellow townsfolk, he didn't think that seeing people on his off time was exciting or nice, but today wasn't a day that he would be allowed to do what he wanted. The second that the tall blonde woke up, his day was already scheduled thanks to Sue.
Sue was a force to be reckoned with, that crazy old lady with her brightly colored personality and clothes, he wasn't sure to be afraid or scared when she shoved him out of the front door. "Sheldon! Stop being a hermit! You've done enough mending for the day, so go and make friends or something like a normal kid." Sheldon's ice blue eyes stared at her, with a frown on his face. Right, make friends.... he would love to do that! Not. He didn't have a choice as she shoved him out of the front door and locked it behind him. "Friends! Go talk to people! Ahh, whats wrong with kids now a days?!?" She yelled from behind the door, and Sheldon could only continue along with a pout on his lips.
Walking along the path, Sheldon ignored everyone as he walked along. It wasn't that he didn't want to make friends, it's just that it took more effort than he ever desired to put out. He didn't want to go and talk to people, they would just bore him most likely. As he arrived at the square, with the intent of heading to the beach to stare at it like the weirdo he was, he saw a pair of people standing... or sitting... or who know what they were doing... but they were together and talking to each other. For a split second Sheldon thought about going over there, but really. Why should he? The beach was better company without a doubt. Even though it was dirty and filthy, he would deal with that risk this one time.

Ren rolled her eyes and glanced over through the bench. It was then that she spotted Sheldon. She had seen the male around before, more often then the one she had just made into a foot stool. She couldn't exactly say she and Sheldon were friendly. Between the two of them they were probably more comfortable being left alone, and rarely spoke to each other. But there was something about today...
Sitting up on her elbows she reached her right hand into the air and waved at him, beckoning him to join them.
