Work in the labs recently had been...trying to say the least. The most important projects were ahead of schedule, s**t was golden, but things were growing more and more tense as the days rolled forward. Clarice had been in need of a nice, relaxing night (sans looming apocalypse) for a good while now. And with the missions of the past month taking their toll, she wasn't the only one. So it was unsurprising that Candace's request to hang out quickly snowballed into a full on slumber party.

When the ladies started to arrive they'd first be treated to the sight of a bedroom that was...only a little larger than their own. Not kitchen, living room, or dining room, just a large bed, and tasteful decorating. Further inspection would lead to the discovery that only about a third of Clarice's quarters was given to her bedroom, the rest being about 20% walk-in closet and 50% luxury bathroom. Some hunters preferred to have kitchens in their rooms, Clarice said ******** cooking and just put a minifridge next to her oversized bathtub and personal steamroom.

After putting the final touches on the prepared snacks, drinks, booze, facial masks, manicure supplies, hair supplies, film projector and finally the movie reels, Clarice feeling fairly pleased with herself as she greeted the ladies showing up at her doorstep.

Clerise was one of the first to arrive, ever eager for a chance to be with Miss Lady. For some non-platonic reasons, sure, but she was also in the possession of a fabulous steam room (x1) and amazing bed (x1).

Plus, plenty of snark and ridiculous amounts of alcohol to be had.

She needed it. Clerise rationalized it as a break from her increased training regimen because, over the last month:
1. Video mission with some obnoxious hunters.
2. That stupid lair had cropped up.
2. Encounter with Julie.
3. SECOND encounter with Julie.

So she arrived already in an oversized shirt, fluffy towel on arm and a bottle of pilfered whiskey in the other.

"Hello, baby," Clerise purred as soon as she enters the room, setting the bottle down on a nightstand and--

Promptly fell onto Clarice's bed, rolling around on it like a happy cat. "Mama MISSED you."

Smiling, she reassured Cass, "I just finished getting things set up, so I'd say you were right on time! Just go ahead and make yourself..."

And then Clerise was there and rolling on her bed. "Well," she began wryly, "I'm glad you two are able to spend some quality together."

She left them alone to bond in ways that would hopefully not mess her bed up too much, and answered the door for Saya, "Hi! Come right in, and make yourself comfortable!"

Cass laughed. "I'll try to not get too comfy, or else I might start trying to just meld with the place." She jested. Mostly jest, as she already half-owned Marcus's room as it was. She didn't need to move in with Clarice too. "Definitely a nice place you have, though. Definitely agree. Has everything a girl might need it looks like to me." she beamed, waving back at Clerise on the bed.

"Why hello there to you too." she laughed with a wave.

Ofelia knew very few female hunters, or at least she could count the number of them she did know on a single hand. Males seemed to dominate the field, not that she was complaining since she liked the company of men-folk, so a chance to meet up with other females and have a 'sleep over' sounded particularly wonderful. The most wonderful thing about it was that Ofelia had never been to a sleep over before, never having been invited to one. Perhaps it was because she often spoke of things at school that she should have kept her mouth closed over or maybe it was because she was just the right amount of aloof yet creepy when approached that people steered clear of her.

That being said Ofelia wasn't really sure what the standard attire was for a sleep over, she assumed it was whatever she normally slept in, and so - without pants on - Ofelia made her way down the hall in nothing more than a pair of lace panties and an overly tight wife-beater that was practically rags. Her feet were bare, considering her flip flops were in a state of smell she wanted to ignore, and well - Ofelia didn't really have any other clothes. She'd managed to get her hair into a braid as best she could and when the door was opened and everyone started to file in Ofelia found herself. . . .oddly shy.

She took a spot near the door and stood there, pillow in her arms as she looked around at the rest who'd come in. She recognized Cass and Circus Queen - even Candace, but everyone else (including Clarice) were strangers by name. Their faces were fine enough in her memory but not much else.

If you're going to stand here and creep on them all night I suggest we go back to your room. You're terrifying. Rue had been against what she called a 'clam bake', two words to describe a gathering of women that Ofelia hadn't heard before. The teen blushed over the situation and pulled the pillow closer to her face, just watching and waiting. It wasn't like she wanted someone to get her attention, that made it seem like she was purposefully seeking it out, but well - this was all knew to her.

And compared to watching someone have their neck snapped - this was much scarier and more nerve wracking. "Errrr...." When she did manage to think of something to say it was more or less a sound. She would have slapped herself for it if her hands weren't full of pillow and active shame.

Sydney had bolstered herself for this, and searched through all of her clothes for a pair of pajamas that she could wear in front of others. The only set she could find, though, made her stare at them blankly for a very long moment before shrugging them on. Then she grabbed her pillow and started down the hall, barefoot.

She had her srs. business face on, but somehow it just didn't fit with the Mad Cow tanktop and cow spotted sleeping pants. But this was her first sleepover. EVER. She was intent on being as girly as possible. She had even PRACTICED in the mirror.

Izy was still laughing his head off as she knocked on the door and slipped into the room.

Cass waved as more girls made their way into the room, mostly noting her fellow mist-hunters with an excited grin. Bonding within bonding within GIRLTIME. She might have been able to look less excited about things. But she didn't look like she was ready to.

"Hiiiii!"

This was the first time that Tori had ever had a slumber party and she was excited about it as it would also be good to meet more girls around here. Most of the time she had her nose in her books or practicing. She also had to wonder what people did at slumber parties too. Packing up a few things that she thought she would need in one of her bags. She also thought to bring her stash of booze filled chocolate too. Not even caring if one of the guys saw what she was wearing as she headed up to the second floor and to Clarice's room.

Giving the door a little knock as she was excited but nervous at the same time before heading inside as Tori wore a simple blue tank top and tie dyed pajama pants. She was impressed with Clarice's room as it was so very nice. "Hi everyone," Tori said shyly as she didn't know what else to say. Heading over to Clarice "I thought everyone could enjoy these and thanks Clarice," she said quietly as she held up a bowl filled with booze filled chocolates that she had gotten in her last visit outside of the island.
