Standing on the rooftop to his apartment complex was not something he expected to find himself doing. Well, not under these circumstances. Maybe there were a few recesses of marijuana floating around in his system that lead him to this decision because otherwise Sheldon probably wouldn't be finding himself willingly powering up again. Not after that awesome awakening a few days prior - was it a few days? He had gone into a stash of weed rather quickly after coming home from that that... he hadn't really looked to see what day it was. He should have... but that wasn't important right now.
It was a weird feeling and the green haired boy almost closed his eyes as he transformed himself into his Page attire. He flexed his fingers, staring down at his bandaged hands and the pipe that curled in the right one. That stupid pipe that made all this happen.
Kailash frowned at it, because there wasn't much else for him to do. Oh, he had thought about throwing it in a river or something - especially during a rather prolonged trip - but better judgement told him that it probably wouldn't even work - what if it came back to him, haunting him or something. It was something worth trying perhaps later, if this all proved to be too much for him to handle. But for now, maybe he'd give this a shot. It made him feel pretty good after all, healthier maybe.. like he could actually exert himself.
That was why he came to the roof, sadly inspired after watching Spider-man when Peter Parker was on the roof tops experimenting with his new found powers. Webs were obviously out so all he did for now was hop up and down; something that had come to mind from recalling a few senshi jump with ease and how much lighter he felt. Yeah, he could totally feel himself going higher.
With that in mind, Kailash made ready to do one of the few things that he and Peter probably could both do. Roof hopping. Taking a running start from one end, he made his way over flailing as he easily cleared it. Surprised and thankful really and then made his way to the next, not as gracefully but that didn't seem to stop him from trying another bounding leap.
And then another. A grin spread across his face as he took another running start to get to another rooftop... only to slam into one of the adjacent roof's metal fixtures, "oh, ********! OW!"

Roof jumping had always been one of his favorite pass times, ever since powering up for the very first time. He had learned that his boost of power and speed allowed him to do almost super human things, which meant thrill seeking was taken to new heights.
Now it was a little old hat, but he still got some fun out of it.
"You need to pick your knees up, dude," Chaonis said, looking at the dude that just crashed into the building Chaonis had just lightly landed on from the other direction. He thought he had felt one of those weird auras, the ones that those knights had.
He didn't care much about the knights. If asked why, he'd say it was because he thought they were weak and useless. But there felt like there was more reason to it that he didnt' understand. But thinking about it required effort, and he was just not willing to do that.
He watched the knight, wandering over to him and grinning smugly. He had his arms folded over his chest, which was generally how he liked to stand.
"What are you doing?" He asked, as if roof jumping was totally stupid and worthy of derision when he had only just been doing it.

That weird feeling he had felt the first time he had awakened hit him suddenly, making his yellow eyes squint for a moment sorting it out. It felt like Iris had, simply labeled as 'good' and just as strong. Kailash relaxed back on the ground, not even having realized he had tensed up by the sudden presence.
"Thanks for the advise," he replied unsure and staying put on the ground. Now realizing a new puzzle was mulling around, that voice sounded familiar. It wasn't the flicker of recognition like with a lot of people, he always remembered voices, but this one was in the collection of the current. It was recent, should he bother trying to remember though? That took effort and time, and he didn't want to waste the energy on it.
It would probably bug him later though.
Kailash finally pushed himself up, though not fully, just enough to get him to a seated position where he had slammed himself into the metal object. His side hurt a little, but not as much as he could imagine if he were just normal Sheldon - well, if that were the case he'd probably be a pancake on the pavement instead.
"I was playing around," he shrugged, finally answering the eternal senshi when he got himself closer. Kailash pulled his gaze from his hands to Chaonis, his eyes narrowing in consideration. "... you look really familiar..." Urg, now it was really going to bug him.

"Do I?"
Chaonis laughed, arms folded over his chest. It was his usual pose, so if anyone was going to recognize him it would likely be while he was standing like that. He frowned at the Page, though, shaking his head.
"You don't look familiar at all."
Chaonis didn't spend too much of his time around knights. He'd helped one once, a long time ago, but it had not done much for his opinion of them. The knight had been injured and out of it, and Chaonis let him sleep it off on the couch. The knight had never seen him, and was gone by morning. His father had not seen the knight, it seemed, though Chaonis hadn't asked. He just came down from his room and saw Tony on the couch before he went to work.
Still, it made Chaonis think that knights were push overs. They didn't have magic, from what he had learned, which wasn't exactly right but he wasn't really going to do an in depth investigation into them.
"But you've probably seen me around. I'm pretty big around here." He grinned. Maybe he was in his own head, but he didn't actually spend that much time personally saving people, to the point where they would be able to recognize him.

Oh. Oh. This was all ringing a bell. Not the words or stature that Chaonis was presenting himself with, well perhaps a little with the pose. But his audible memory finally picked up on that attitude, making this all come back to him. This was that a*****e.
"Well, I don't suppose I'd look familiar since I'm not covered with fur right now," (thank god for that really) Kailash shrugged with a forced smile. It was a little easier to let the experience of being put into a trashcan roll off him, but it didn;t mean he could really not be a little miffed at the culprit who was standing over him in that cocky pose.
At least remaining seated and staring up at him wasn't feeling awkward, 'cause the new Page was in no means ready to stand up yet - sitting was so comfortable, anywhere even. "So, the big deal huh?" The green haired boy's eyebrow raises skeptical. "So what does that entail really?"

Chaonis arched an eyebrow.
"You were one of those cats?" He laughed, thinking back. He hadn't met too many, so it wouldn't be hard to place which one this knight was supposed to have been. "Oh! The one from the dumpster!"
That wasn't a fair assessment. The cat had only ended up in the trash can because Chaonis put him there: it wasn't like he had found him there and saved him. Though, he did feel that the score was still tilted in Chaonis' favor, because he had killed that youma.
So clearly this guy had no reason to be mad at him for anything.
He grinned devilishly, puffing out his armor guarded chest. "I kick a lot of a**. Fight bad guys, do the good guy thing. You know. Hero stuff. s**t you'll be doing, I guess. Though not if you throw yourself off a building like that. They forget to teach you how to jump?"

Kailash didn't feel the need to confirm what Chaonis had figured out, his earlier clue seemed good enough as it was; why else would he say it otherwise? And the page didn't really want to delve back into that wonderful experience of feeling gross from trash.
Instead, he moved on. His skepticism moved into a very dubious look, still with raised eyebrow, as Chaonis boasted about himself. Has this guy been as full of himself when they last encountered each other. Kailash had to imagine he had been even though most of what he could remember was being attacked by some weird things and being freaked out half the time.
So, this is a hero gig, huh?" Kailash sighed, finally pushing himself up to his feet to be a little more level with the eternal senshi. "I kind of got the jist of it when I first ... transformed...? And with Sailor Iris there and all." He shrugged, dusting the back of his pants off.
"And not much you can forget when no one's around to teach you anything," the page added in, "what, do you senshi get a crash course in all of this or something?"

Chaonis watched the knight with an air of impatience and cockiness. He had his arms folded over his chest and grinning. He was amused but not in a friendly way, or one that invited Kailash to join in the fun. It was at his expense, after all.
"Iris?" He scoffed, shaking his head. "That figures. She probably gave you the goody goody routine, eh? With her pants pulled up and everything. That doesn't surprise me."
The last time he met Iris he had been shoplifting, and she had taken offense to that. Or maybe it was when they had found those thugs on the rooftops? It sort of blurred together but he did know he was angry with her for being so damned stringent and giving him a hard time about not playing by the rules.
He had his own rules.
"Crash course? Yeah, you can call it that." He grinned and then moved to the knight suddenly, shoving him with every intention of knocking him off the roof. He didn't estimate the fall was big enough to do any lasting damage to a powered up being.
Probably.

So, this guy seemed to know Iris in the least and Kailash couldn't help but chuckle what Chaonis had suspected she told him. The Page momentarily crossed his arms, only to pull one hand free to scratch his scalp at his hairline. "Nah, nothing goody goody," he explained, not realizing the male senshi was on the fast approach. There had been little in any sort of lecture from the blonde senshi, "more like berating me with her cru - uuu-s**t!" It was in mid-sentence that Kailash felt a firm hand on his back, and not in a cool good natured sense or even an awkward one which he could still deal with. No, there was force behind it, not only making him never finish his statement but the kind that obviously was sending him over the edge of the building (and really hoping he wasn't screaming like a little girl. Which he totally did initially). The Page flailed as the force and the wind whipped around his face for the short distance that he fell through the air. It was thankfully, well in terms of a powered being, only four stories high so it wasn't that that long of an ordeal. And it was long enough for him find some conscious thought to right himself and brace for impact (and still flail like an idiot). It was also the sort of building, being close to one of the parks, that had a good sizable amount of foliage in front of the entrance. A rather nice set of bushes, shrubs and flowers that came up fast, for Kailash to crash into on his decent. Those poor hydrangeas. "the... ********...." The green haired Page wheezed, blinking slowly from his position on the ground. Now covered in twigs, leaves and debris from his fall and his uncovered body now littered with scratches and whatnot. Did that just happen? Yup... that just happened.

Chaonis watched as the hapless senshi went tumbling over the edge of the building, grinning broadly at the sight of it. And the sound of it. There was no hiding that surprised, scared yelp that had escaped Kailash before he fell, and Chaonis was going to remember it for a long time in all its glorious girliness.
Chaonis landed heavily on the ground near the Page as he was pulling himself from the bushes and flowers. The surviving hydrangeas met their own terrible fate under his cleated shoes. He grinned at Kailash, looking about as innocent as a dog with a shoe in its mouth.
"Nice fall. Can't be afraid of falling off the roof tops, or that's all you do. You miss a jump, you do it better next time. Bumps and bruises heal stupidly fast for us, and you can survive p***y falls like a couple of stories like that."
He was under estimating the height of the building, but it was all relative. The guy hadn't died, right? And look, now he had his crash course he had wanted. Sure, Chaonis took it a little literally and his teaching methods were not exactly... kind, but that was not what he was asked to do.
It wasn't a coddling course.

Kailash couldn't be sure how he liked this rougher sense of training. Sure, it helped sometimes to just be pushed into the pool, so to speak, but when there was a difference in learning to swim and just falling off a building, the coddling seemed a little more inviting. And it wasn't like he has a cat's intuition of landing on his feet - his current position was proof enough. (Or maybe this was something that came with experience? Dear lord...) "I think the bushes helped," he signed in a tired voice, weakly raising a hand to rest his open palm on his forehead. There was a twinge of pain in the muscles that he had to move to complete that process, and it resolved him in the fact he was just not going to move from his spot on the ground. It was nice. Chaonis was becoming more and more.. not. "And I think there's a difference between jumping between buildings and being pushed off one..."

"Maybe, but you don't always have a choice, do you? If you're fighting a bad guy up there, then they might knock you off. Taking a fall is as important as knowing how to avoid them."
He grinned. Yes, his was an excellent lesson, all told, and he felt he had made his point rather well now.
He was a goddamn professor.
"Don't be sore about it," he said, not meaning to take a jab at his possible injuries from the fall, "I'm just looking out for your well being. I don't have to, you know. You're not a senshi, so by rights I shouldn't even care about you. I'm taking time from my patrol, because you looked like you could do with some pointers."
He was such a good guy.

He walked right into that one, and there wasn't much Kailash could counter with against Chaonis' very obvious good point. Bad guys pushed people off roofs, shot them off of roofs, fought dirty. Lots of things. And sometimes even good guys to make examples. "Oh yes, I am... so so grateful," Kailash replied in a very bland manner as he made a weak attempt to pull himself up to a sitting position. It took a few feeble attempts, mostly because laying down was just wonderful, but the new Page got himself up and with a lovely array of leaves and sticks in his pale green hair. "Good to know I won't feel like s**t as long as normal at least," that was something on the bright side. Kailash flicked his yellow eyes on the senshi, "or so you tell me, unless things work differently between senshi... and... pages?" That seemed to be one of the terms for him. Knight? Something. He sighed, unsure of why he was asking this, but he did. "Any more pointers... that don't deal with demonstrations?" Better than nothing, he knew next to nothing about all this.

Chaonis knew he didn't mean it, but he laughed anyway when Kailash said he was thankful. He'd take it, even if it was sarcastic and probably meant to insult him.
"Nice hair," Chaonis said with a grin and a nod.
He wasn't sure what the differences between knights and senshi. Sure, there had to be some rules that didn't apply to one or the other, but Chaonis never really hung out with knights enough to care to learn them. Hell, he did not even really know all the rules for senshi.
He was not great with rules.
"Nah, I think that's all I've got tonight. I figure the best way to learn is by doing, and I'm not much for lecturing. I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough."
It was a war, after all.
"Anyway, I'm going to go home and play a video game."

There was a soft grunt of a response from the sitting Page, "couldn't be any worse than it usually is." This would at least give him an excuse to wash it more thoroughly than usual, even as annoying as that would be. Though, there could at least be a little relief hearing that the senshi had nothing else for him; a little could have been helpful in the least since he didn't know much about all this. But the way Chaonis spread his knowledge, well... he was at least going to last another day and not get killed from friendly fire (was it friendly? Well, he was trying to kill him outright like the other guy). "Video games sound amazing right now," Kailash had to agree with a sigh. The Page pushed himself off the ground to finally get back to his feet, only to find that well, yeah he was a lot more sore all over than he had imagined. Urg, thank god he didn't live too far from here. "Thanks... I guess..." One side of his lips twitched into a smirk as he gave a mock salute to the Eternal Senshi.
