Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Dreidyn was an expert on type matchups but she knew when she had an advantage when she had one. This electric field would not bother her Pokemon in the slightest, when the Vibrava is part ground type. Still she didn't think that her opponent would rely on electric attacks anyway. Shrugging off that thought, she tossed her Pokeball to release her Pokemon inside.
"Good luck!" She said cheerfully to her opponent. Even if this was going to be a full throttle battle, she didn't want things to get too heated.

"Thank you, to you as well!" Shina called back as she threw Rasha's pokeball into the ring. The fire horse materialized and tossed her mane.

"Ok let's go!" Dreidyn cried out. "Start it off with Sand Tomb!"
Lotus kicked off of the ground and sped towards the Ponyta. Her wings started kicking up sand that appeared from no where as she then flew around her opponent. Soon she had generated a twister of swirling sand in the middle of the battlefield.

Shina's eyes narrowed. "Iron Tail!" With the Flygon whirling around so fast, there would be little chance of her avoiding the defense-lowering attack.

Dreidyn knew that the Ponyta would become untouchable if she allowed it to continue buffing itself up, even with ground type attacks. They needed to stop her before she got too high and Lotus had the move to do so.
"Supersonic!" She commanded next. Lotus, while spinning around Rasha, flapped her wings even more, creating a disorienting whine that filled the stadium.

Dreidyn couldn't see very well with all the sand kicked up so she thought that Rasha's defense was being raised rather than Lotus's defense being lowered. It was a rather bad mistake but one that she could fix if Supersonic would hit.
"Try Supersonic again!" Dreidyn's command spurred the Vibrava to start the screeching again.

Lotus yelped as the iron hard tail connected with her, harder that before. Even though it was made of flames, it felt like she was being clubbed after the previous attacks softened her up.
"Supersonic once more!" Dreidyn figured that the only way they could catch up now is to confuse the Ponyta and hope for some time.

The buzzing was to loud for Rasha to ignore this time, and she staggered slightly. "Rasha, come on, you can do it! Try a Solar Beam!" Rasha gathered the earth energy, and fired.

Despite the confusion, the Ponyta was able to pull through and launch another devastating attack. Lotus tried her best to shrug it off but the Solarbeam still burned and it hurt to stay aloft.
"Hang in there!" Dreidyn really needed to buff up her defenses back up. "Use Steel Wing to fortify yourself!"
Lotus gave a terse nod and landed to spread her wings. Through sheer will she managed to harden them to make them more resiliant to damage.

((You are supposed to list both buffs and debuffs, not just subtract a debuff when you buff. Also, doing my confusion check on this post, since defense lowering doesn't need a roll.))
