KONY2012 is nothing but a scam.
Sure kids in Africa go through horrible, horrible adversities everyday but I can assure everyone that Joseph Kony isn't even responsible for HALF of the deaths in Africa, let alone Uganda.
It's an absolute shame that an organization that claims to be charitable would create propaganda such as KONY2012. This video not only is directed towards tapping into teenagers emotions and irrationality but is throwing subliminal messages in our faces.
I want there to be more videos and more blogs out there dedicated to revealing the KONY2012 scam then there are of people supporting it.
This is NOT okay.
One example of what made me mad about this video.
The futuristic newspaper in the video that states Joseph Kony has been caught, is the EXACT layout of the newspaper reporting the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Now, no matter what you believe about 9/11, because I know everyone has their own opinions about what happened they day,(as I have mine) we can all agree that, that day was one of the worst days in American history and every year, millions of people go to memorials, stand in silence all day, put flowers on graves, and grieve the losses we ALL faced that day, September 11, 2001. God rest all of their souls.
Not only is that something that's COMPLETELY NOT OKAY to throw in the faces of Americans, especially teenagers, but what right do they have to associate a film that will probably initiate a war in Uganda with a tragic disaster in America. What right do they have? Not only should the entire Invisible Children organization be discredited for this video, the people contributing to this scam should be ashamed of themselves.

One last thing. The KONY2012 poster is the same as the Obama campaign poster..who just happens to be running for re-election. Hmm...
Although. you should all remember that helping Africa by making videos filled with misinformation is WAY more important than feeding the starving kids in our OWN country.

At least most dumb and senseless people still masturbate in private. I guess you're the exception.
People who can make dumb statements, dumb videos, dumb speeches, dumb organizations, and dumb actions famous all belong on the history channel, right after they get checked out of the looney bin.

Why was there a need for our troops to be in Uganda if Joseph Kony was not there?
And if anyone is misunderstanding me, I'm not against the capture of Joseph Kony, I'm against KONY2012.

I appreciate your effort to muster a rationale to the Jason Russel travesty. But the problem is quite CLEAR to me and anyone who has read NAZI propaganda, sophisticated advertising messaging or studied (or deconstructed) a long con. Jason Russel is xenophobic and is unconsciously (cos he's certainly not clever enuff to do this deliberately) putting a permanent RACE and FACE on this sort of crime. Its very tricky and its very evil. So that's wot u need to see, Americans (in particular) as ur short, robust history makes u numb to these vulgarities. This little poster will go down easier:
