Hira rolled over in the makeshift den she sleep in, stretching her limbs and searching out Kal. Of course in the small space her back paws pushed against him and she giggled opening her eyes and looking at the bright blue lion.
She shimmed over a bit more cuddling against him and yawning lightly. She did not really want to wake yet, but she figured she'd probably woken Kal. She nuzzled his back and sighed, feeling more comfortable around him than she was around most of her pride. Still she did miss her home and her mother and she really wished she could show Kal her home.
Kali was in a deep sleep when the female had him, he awoke with a haze about him. He almost had forgotten he was actually in the den, a recent thing between them. One he wasnt complaining about. He streached and his back paws touchs the wall of the den, this den was truely small, but he was with he so all was well with him.
He smiled as he fel the female cuddle with him, he smiled and turned around to face her and wrapping his paws around her his mane providing a comfortable place for her to lay. "Well, hello there beautiful." He said for he let out a big yawn.
Mazhira laughed lightly at the compliment reaching out and placing a paw on his chest in greeting. She knew that she would probably try to talk, but at the moment she really did see the need. She wanted to, she really did, but she had always wanted to hadn't she? She was only able however when she really saw a need.
She cuddled further to him, comtemplating how exactly she would explain to him what she wanted to convey today. She wasn't sure he language even had words for all of it or even most of it, which made her sigh lightly.
It was then that she realized that she hadn't even been trying to, but she had been making a lot of noise as of late. She sighed, she laughed, she was pretty sure she even growled once, not at Kal of course.
She cuddled to him a bit more closing her for a moment to allow them to just be, just for a bit.
As Kali laid with the female his thought began to wonder. Was it possible to fall in love with someone you dont even know the name of? Was it possible that he was falling in love? He looked at her she was so beautiful, he smiled hypnotized by her eyes.
He began to recall upon the many days they have been spending toget her and in this time, she has made him laugh, smile and even happy. Truly happy. Something he has never been in his life. He nuzzled against her letting the love he felt for her to fill him up.
He wondered if he would ever learn her name. "You know i'd be happy to spend all day with you in my arms." He said smiling.
Hira continued to lounge unaware of Kal, thinking, until he spoke she hadn't really considered it. She looked up at him her eyes slightly wide, her heart racing. She smiled and put her paw over his heart and patting it.
She certainly didn't mind to lay there with him all day, but still she looked up to him her eyes questioning. This was a totally new territory for her, she barely had any friend and had certainly never fallen in love, but she was wasn't she.
He had her feel happy like a warm sunset and she never smiled so much as she did with him. She cuddled him more though she doubted she could get any closer to him.
Kali smiled, she was so cute, he's never felt like he wanted to commit to a female as a mate but the more time he spends with her the more he want to. He gave her a slight lick on the cheek and smiled, he had never smiled much, but ever since he met her, she has showed him many things.
Its funny for him, usually he would hit it the quit it on the first night but her, its been many days and at first thats how it started but now, he didnt want it, he doesnt want them to end. "Would you mind if i stayed? With you." He asked a bit hesitant. He would feel crushed if she said no, she was the first girl Mkali was actually falling for.
Hira was very happy to hear him ask her if he could stay with her. It made her feel more at ease. She grinned and shook her, but then she nodded not entirely sure if she was suppose to say no I do not mind or yes you can stay. She tense slightly feeling like she had given the wrong answer and she wanted to make sure he would stay with her.
She looked right at him and touched her nose to his before pulling back. "Stay please," she said to simple words, ones that would make absolute certain what she meant. She loved him and she wanted him to stay. She smiled slightly wondering if she would talk more in the future with Kali by her side.
Kali was confused first she said no, then a yes; was that her way of saying she didnt know yet. He would understand if she didnt like him, not many people did. He wished he could read her mind so he would know what she was thinking, but at that moment it was someone heard his pleas, he heard a female voice, he heard her voice. For the first time, he almost melted; and not only did he hear her voice she wanted him to stay.
"YOU CAN TALK?" He said shocked but happy. Why hadnt she done so before. "Since when? Wait you want me to stay." He squeezed her with happiness. He just didnt know what to do it was such a new revalation for him. "Wait, before you say anything else, if this is some miracle by the gods i want to know just one thing, i just want to hear one thing from your voice. What's is your name?" He smiled, her name wasnt relivent in how he felt but he wanted to hear her say it.
Mazhira had expected surprise, but his shout startled her a bit. She responded with a shy nod as she was pelted questions, making her feel a little overwhelmed, still she laughed at his last question. "Mom ... call ... called me .... Mazhira." It came out broken, which it often did when she felt overwhelmed and was forcing it.
She cuddled up to him once more yawning, but feeling very happy that finally he knew her name and he could use it and he was going to stay with her and her being mute, for the most part anyway, hadn't mattered.
"Love you," she whispered before deciding that was enough words for one day and falling silent once more.
Kali had the biggest smile on his face. "Mazhira." He repeated. He smiled and held her yet again. He noticed how hard it was for her to speak, maybe thats why she never spoke. But They were going to stay together. She wanted him to stay, no one ever wanted him to stay anywhere before.
She said she loved him, not even his parent loved him, she was amazing. "Love you too." He smiled and held her. "I love you Mazhira." He said smiling and holding her close. She was perfect.
