 ___W e a p o n s
Cling! The special usage of one's physical form in combination with all sorts of weapons! Much like Hand-to-Hand, weapon styles require hard work and dedication in order to master. They revolve around the manipulation of one's body along with their weapon of choice, and as a result of the combination, are known as some of the deadliest techniques amongst the world.
Below is a listing of weapon styles you are able to learn within our fine guild, System Borrowed from Shinobi Nations! Just remember, your [ Class ] dictates how many weaponstyles you are able to learn, so go check to see what that number is!
___S t a g e s
Unlike Force and Non-Force techniques, weapon techniques are separated by [ Stages ]. Simply put- a stage is a limitation placed on one or more techniques to prevent someone from learning high end weapon style before the lower ones. Those who wish to learn a weapon style start at the very first stage (stage one) and proceed by learning all techniques within that set stage. After doing so, they are able to move up to the next stage, which- as one would think -contains stronger techniques to learn.
• Beginner cannot go above [ Stage Four ] in any one Style. ○ Novice cannot go above [ Stage Five ] in any one Style. ___( However, whence the Skilled rank has been reached, this limitation is removed. ) • There should always be no more, and no less, than six stages in a single style.
___V a r i a t i o n s
Lightsaber techniques come in two variations- Simple and Complex. They are two very bland yet very important terms. ___Simple: weapon techniques that do not require energy. ___Complex: weapon techniques that require energy.
___T y p e s: Aside Simple and Complex, some styles have other types which have particular effects and learning guides. More commonly, these additional types will be explained in the style itself, however there are a few that may not: • Practice techniques are learned as if Simple techniques of the same rank. • Training techniques are learned as if Complex techniques of the same rank. • Once a Practice or Training technique has been learned, it becomes a passive bonus for the practitioner.

Gun kata The blaster as a total weapon
___Description: "Through analysis of thousands of recorded blaster fights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any blaster battle is a statistically-predictable element. The Gun Kata treats the blaster as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents, while keeping the defender clear of the statistically-traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120 percent."
___Restrictions: • This style uses blasters only, thought sizes and ammo style are variable • For maximum effect, this style uses two pistol sized blasters in each hand • A shot fired is considered a sword/saber swipe, so no over usage of “trigger pulling.” • The user is by no means perfect at dodging or avoiding return fire
___Bonus: • With each stage completed, the user's precision (not confused with accuracy) is increased.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Assassin Stance Simple :: E The most basic of all firing stances, the user stays in a natural shoulder width stance with his two weapons outstretched directly in front of him. This stance maximizes two handed firing power, as well as balances accuracy in both hands. It covers only one direction, but when is very effective facing a single opponent directly in front of them. The weakness is that any other approachable enemy can flank the user on any unarmed side.
Slanted Stance The user goes from standing at an even footed balanced stance to an elongated side lung stance with both pistols out in front in a standard firing position. This stance is often used to create a zig-zag motion of stepping, working on an arch style movement to avoid up incoming blaster fire from one direction. Although effective, this movement can be quickly overcome when used against more than 2 opponents shooting, or 2 opponents shooting from different angles.
Linear stance Simple:: E This stance is similar to the slanted stance, but differs in the application, situation, and firing position. Still entering the side lunge stance, the user extends the same arm as the extended leg out to his side and hangs the other weapon over his head pointing in the same direction. This stance is used when facing 2 attackers, or 2 attackers on opposing sides of his body. Positioning themselves in a bladed, more narrow positioning, the enemies have a greater chance of missing him, as well as hitting their friends on the other side of the now narrowed user. The user is very easily able to transition from side to side in this stance, keeping both his sides covered with fire. There are easily overcome if an enemy fires from his broadened side, as he poses a bigger, more open target from that angle.
Transition one Complex :: E A simple technique that allows the user to transition from one stance to another while keeping themselves cleared of return fire. User essentially stays in one central spot as they transition. • Only transition to 2 other stances
___S t a g e T w o [2] Perpendicular Stance Simple :: D Even in stage 2, the basic footing and positioning of the stance doesnt change. Moving his feet into the slanted stance, the user points the weapon on the side of his back leg infront of him, and points the weapon on his other side straight out on a 90 degree angle. This way can cover 2 separate directions while still avoiding return fire. The obvious weakness is a flank to the unguarded side and from behind.
Reload dance Complex :: D The user is more accustomed to their weapon of choice, and is thus able to more properly reload his weapon when the energy is low or running out. The user simple drops the power cell, flips the pistol to a hammer grip to free up some fingers, and is able to flick a new power cell into his weapon. The weapon cannot be discharged in the turn that it is reloaded.
Over-under Shot Simple :: D Used while in the perpendicular stance, this simple shot allows the extended side weapon to move under the weapon outstretched to the front, allowing the user to cover the opposite side as well, easily covering one of the weaknesses this stance has.
Quick Draw 1 Simple :: D The User is now adept enough to draw one of his pistols and immediately fire it at the hip with a fair amount of accuracy (aiming for center of mass on the enemy). Although quick, it is rather obvious what the user is trying to do.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Over the shoulder Simple :: C Instead of making a stance transition, the user is now able to move on outstretched weapon behind him, aiming to cover his back in a quick and brutal motion. The obvious weakness of this style is that one would need to have a way of seeing behind him to make this absolutely effective, but it can also serve as a wonderful suppression technique to deter people from coming up the users flank. • Only usable in Slanted stance, assassin’s stance, perpendicular stance, and circle stance.
The Cross Stance Simple :: C The user stands in a natural, shoulder width stance with both weapons stretched out to his sides. The weapons form a line of fire power that is easily usable in a hallway (to cover both sides) as well as minimizes the target size and space for return fire to hit.
Double trigger Simple :: C :: Practice The user is now adept enough with their choice weapons that they can pull the trigger twice in the time it takes someone else to pull the trigger once. This allows them to add even more fire power to their monstrous all out blaster assault. • Essentially allows the user to have 2 blaster bolts per attack. These bolts do count against ammo count.
Transition 2 Complex :: C The user is now comfortable enough, as well as studied their fire fights, to comfortably transition with higher level, more advanced stances and movements while still able to carefully avoid return fire. This rendition adds in spins and other small movements to move across the battle field. • Allows for the transition to 3 other stances [exiting the one you were in]
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Circle shot/stance Simple :: B A stance usually used during transition 2. The user holds one gun over their head, like a karate high block with the gun facing to their side while the other weapon is across the body like a hook punch aiming for the other side while standing in either a leaning, slanted, or natural stance. This allows the user to effectively shot during a transition as well as maintain fire power and accuracy in constricting situations limiting the user from outstretching their arms. • Only one trigger pull weapon if this stance is used during a transition.
Sensory click Complex :: B The user does a simple “noise creation” motion and uses his expertise in the gun kata to be able to map out the immediate room of all bodies, furniture, cover, ect. This map is then able to be used for the next post (after the initiative post) and is then out of date and needs to be redone. • Essentially allows the user to know where everybody is in the room, but with no knowledge of armament, intent, faction, ect. Similar to echo location. The sound creation could be a click of the teeth, a snap of the fingers, rustle of jelwery, ect.
Dante Stance Simple :: B A combination of the circle stance and the Perpendicular stance. The user places himself in the elongated stance of the perpendicular stance with one weapon outstretched infront of him. The other weapon is arced over the users head like a karate high block. In fact, the stance is so similar that the user can freely transition between the two stances using the recoil of the blaster as the starting motion. • can only transition from one stance to the other, but doesn’t not count as a new stance if later using a transition technique.
Recoil Redux Simple :: B :: Practice The user is now adept enough at firing a blaster that they can use heavier and more powerful blasters as if they were normal sized and strength, compensating for their recoil as another variable. • Not allowed to use double blaster rifle, or any other traditional 2 had weapon in both hands. Anything else is fair game.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Burst shot Simple :: A :: Practice The user now has become so adept with his weapons that he can pull the trigger in such a manner that it looks like his pistols have “three shot burst” as a fire selection. This is a pinnacle technique of the Cleric’s really laying the fire power down with a simple use of extreme practice. • essentially an increase of dual shot, making three bolts per attack.
Centering technique Simple :: A The user has dealt with enough fire fights to understand how they operate and work. Through his trial in combat, the user learned a way to center himself, relax, and focus perfectly. This will increase his accuracy, as well as limit other variables that his opponents may have, like cover, shields, suppressing fire, ect. His acknowledgment of the statistics, and his understanding will make him seem to have jedi like reflexis, only because he knows the statistical probability of where the next attacker will be coming from. The use will (for one post) concentrate on his breathing, and hold his weapons over each other in front of him, one pointed directly down and the other is directly. • The user can choose to pay the energy cost to use this technique in combat to eliminate one post quieting. Either way, once that set of combatants are done, the technique ends.
Quick Draw 2 Simple :: A The user is well trained enough in his weapons to be able to pull both of them from their holsters and already be able to have them in firing position, entering and moving his stances. Traditionally, the Clerics prefer to have hidden arm slides to hide the fact that he is carrying a weapon and fully catch his enemy by surprise. • If this is used, the user may only pull the trigger twice per weapon this post.
Adrenalin Surge Complex :: A The user has been in enough Gun fights, faced enough bullets that they can now force their body into the "fight" of the fight or flight reflex. The user enters the mindset that allows adrenaline to be released into the blood, making time feel like it is moving more slowly to them, allowing them greater accuracy, timing, and perceptual awarness. • Lasts 5 posts
___S t a g e S i x [6] Gun-blade Simple :: S The user is now adept enough to actually treat his fire arms as if they were a bladed weapon. Using footwork, stances, and the enemies movement, the user is capapble of making his weapons find their target even at close range. This is exceptionally effective against a prisoner escort, or even work for a large squad assassination attempt.
The Ground stance Simple :: S The user has dealt with and trained with the weapons a very long time now, and through a long time of memorizing and practice is able to perfectly compensate for recoil when firing in akward positions. The user can now jump to the ground, lay on their back, even fake dead and when they choose to shoot can do so with amazing precision. This is not the most advised stance to use, but when during a transition may be enough of a ploy to make the enemy believe they hit you. • Lasts 5 posts
Dance of Stances Complex :: S The user, finding himself either surrounded or in a very intense fire fight, is now able to move across the battle field from stance to stance. This method allows him to not just be a singular warrior, but to treat the blaster as a total weapon: suppressing fire, flanking, assassin, self-defense. The Cleric can do it all, and now do it in a very fashionable method…while still maintaining their ability to avoid return fire. • Allows the user to transition using 4 stances, also involving circle shot.
Sphere of Bolts Complex :: S The user burns some energy to move his trigger fingers rapidly while whipping his guns around in a circular motion around him both infront and behind him. This motion is fast and rapid, and covers the user in a full circle around him. Happening several times, this is a wondrous versatile technique that can work as an all out defense, offense, suppression, or whatever the Cleric needs. The unfortunate part is if the cleric has any friends in the area, they too are easily hit and affected by this technique. • Treats both weapons as if they are fully automatic. Burns both energy cells, and the cleric must reload both of them.

Kasai The Called me the Sword Saint
___Description: For years, people on the planet Amanolilith practiced with the art of the sword as the main defense of their homeworld, being void of many of the natural resources that would allow for blaster production. Called the “Vikings of Space” these beings would utilize their small but fast ships to board larger vessels, and then user armor and sword to take the place down. Like bezerkers, they would walk into walls of blaster fire, even used dead friends as shields to get in close to the lines, and start their destruction.
Amanolilith’s were larger than the average human, and thus possessed great natural strength. The style they created involved using strong, deliberate crashing techniques to break open an enemies defense and then strike quickly while they were exposed.
___Restrictions: • Must use a 2 handed melee weapon • Cannot be small in stature or weak in body • For whatever stance you choose, your increases/decreases remain until you take the time to change your stance in combat.
Bonus: • For every stage your learn, the users upper body strength increases
___S t a g e O n e [1] Basic Chop Simple :: E An overhead vertical strike meant as an offensive technique. Very basic, but it is a very powerful strike.
Basic Stab Simple :: E The basic stab used in most blade styles. It is a plain forward thrust with the blade, meant to pierce skin and cause damage to the main body.
Basic Block Simple :: E The set of basic upper- and lower-blocks used with swords and other bladed weapons. It works best on the basic offensive chops and slices.
Basic Stance Simple :: E :: training The user holds their weapon at the belly button level, with the tip of the blade pointing at their opponents throat. This is a simple, but aggressive stance.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Pivoting block Simple :: D The user pivots on the forward leg and deflects an incoming attack with their blade, setting them up for a highly effective counterattack. In addition, this movement sets the user up for a highly effective disarming technique, or even a throwing movement.
Deflection one Simple :: D In the early stages of an opponent’s combat or weapon attack, the user raises his or her blade and slightly alters the course of the incoming attack so that it misses, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user.
Disarming one Complex:: D The user aims for a point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and gently guides his or her blade to that point. After it has reached this point, the user redirects the weapon away from the opponent, causing it to slip out of the target’s grasp.
Forward Lock Simple :: D After blocking an incoming attack or after the opponent’s block ,the user is adept at grinding his or her blade toward the opponent on the blocked weapon. This movement closes the distance between the user and the opponent while forcing the target’s into a weapon deadlock.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Shogun Slash Simple :: C The user, from a weapon deadlock, performs a powerful front kick to the enemy to get them to an optimal, offensive distance. Realing their blade back, the user performs a very powerful full body horizontal strike (like a baseball swing) aiming to cut the enemy in two, it be at the head, torso, legs ect.
Shogun Crash Simple :: C The user lifts their blade high over their head, then crashes down with a massive vertical cleave, aiming to either split the enemy in two, or just knock their guard away. From here, the user presses forward and thrusts their blade for their possibly exposed midsection, but then releases one of the hands off the weapon and throws a fast elbow into the nose or chin of the enemy. This last shot is usually used to off balance the enemy, or affect their other senses in case the combo attack didn’t work.
Shogun’s rise Complex :: C The user drops their blade to their side, the tip pointing towards the ground behind them with the handle at their hip. In a bursting, and fast motion, the user sends a wicked upward slash for the target, aiming to split him from hip to opposite shoulder. This technique is strong enough that even if the opponent defends the technique, it can send them flying. This is an offensive and defensive technique.
Solid Shogun Stance Simple :: C :: Practice The user moves their hilt a little out from their center of mass to the back leg side, having their blade cross over their body from hip to shoulder. This is a very strong defensive stance, When on the user is on the ground they become incredibly difficult to throw off of his or her footing, or be pushed back. This stance increases the effectiveness of all defensive technique, but lowers the effectiveness of all offensive techniques.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Disarming 2 Simple :: B The user aims for the point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and swings strongly for that point. Once the user’s blade connects, the opponent’s blade is sent flying clear across the way, out of reach for a simple retrieval. If the opponent holds on to his or her blade too strongly, the bone fingers in the hand(s) holding on to the hilt can possibly crack. • Receives no increase or decrease benefits
Deflection 2 Simple :: B In the early stages of an opponent’s combat or weapon attack, the user raises his or her blade and alters the course of the incoming attack so that it is rendered useless, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user.
Shogun’s Brush Complex :: B A series of quick cuts that display both impressive speed and depth, but are much more difficult to work with in terms of precision and accuracy. This fast cuts can pierce all the way through muscles, and even chip off some lesser armors. • Maximum of seven cuts
Shogun’s Hyrdra Complex :: B The user, with impressive speed and strength, makes a continual bombardment of overhead cuts on the opponents defense, actually making it impossible for the opponent to defend against this onslaught for any length of time. For the opponent it is moved or get cut. Works perfectly for a hunkered down, defensive opponent.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Crescent Block Simple :: A A circular block meant to serve as an all purpose defensive technique. By catching the incoming attack and carrying it in a circular path on the blade edge, the user gains a great amount of control over the opposing weapon, enough to be able to drive it in to the ground or to easily disarm the opponent without the need for extra techniques or movements. In addition, this technique has great cutting power against soft weapons such as arms and legs.
Deflection cut Simple :: A The user aims a fast primary cut, but not for the opponent. When the enemy begins their attack, the user aims their first slash for the opponents weapon, knocking it off of its course. With this small opening, the user redirects their blade aiming to cut up the primary arm holding the weapon.
Sword Draw Technique Complex :: A A quick drawing of the sword that operates as a slash and breaks through or knocks blades away, but can pierce some armors as well. Opponents a rank lower than the user have problems even defending against this technique.
Attacking Shogun stance Simple :: A :: Practice The user stands with the feet in line, body bladed offering the smallest target to attacking enemies. They hold their weapon with the hilt by their back shoulder, parallel with the ground. This stance increases the effectiveness of all offensive technique, but decreases the effectiveness of all defensive techniques.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Shoguns Furry Simple :: S A very powerful combo that encompasses the true essence of the style. The user pushes hard forward, moving a good 5-6 extra feet, and unleashes a devastating stab that can pierce almost all armors. Even if this first attack is defended, the user then lifts their blade straight up and with such force that he can lift or move a defending blade while taking himself in the air. When decending, the user drops a powerful vertical cleave that can break most other swords in an attempt to cut the opponent down the center. Then retreating back, the user lets their blade trail behind them in a small cut for the enemies legs as he retreats back to Attacking Shogun stance. • Technique has a 2 post cool down (meaning you use the technique, wait two posts, then can use it again)
Shogun’s Reign Simple :: S The user now has an impressive amount of upper body strength, and can employ it in most situations. From a weapon dead lock, the user uses his strength to continue the lock with only a single hand on the weapon as the other one gets pulled back. The user then rockets a powerful punch with the intent to knock the opponent down, or at least knock them back. Flipping their blade, the user takes a step and descends to one knee, dropping their blade attempting to impale their fallen foe on their sword. If the opponent is only knocked back, then the user can simple drop the sword tip aiming to impale the opponents foot, causing damage, loss of footing, and mobility. • Technique has a 2 post cool down (meaning you use the technique, wait two posts, then can use it again)
Circle of 9 Complex :: S The user, begins to user their great strength to do full body horizontal strikes, aiming for a low, medium, or high strike (think baseball bat swing). They continue this for 9 consecutive strikes, able to easily change and even hide the level (low, middle, high) that they are aiming for to the last minute. The stikes carry the great strength with them, and are also performed at a speed that would make most defenses crumble against having to continually defend against 9 consecutive powerful attacks as such. If the opponents weapon tries to do too much defending, it has a very high possibility of breaking, along with their hand/wrist.
Shogun’s Castle Complex :: S The user focuses inwardly, feeling the adrenaline coursing through their veins. After many hours and years practicing with their weapon, they know how mentally create more power in the strikes. By entering this state, the users physical strength is increased by half (now at 1.5 strength) adding to the damage and defense breaking capabilities that this style holds. • State lasts for 5 posts.

Falling Rain:Art of the Silent HunterSilence the Enemy in the name of the Ancients
___Description: Since the dawn of the first human's mankind has used the bow and arrow to slay it's prey. Aboriginal tribes on every planet, every continent, and every nation have used this simple but deadly invention to strike from afar. Practitioners of Falling Rain recognize the spirit of the Hunter, and see the advantages of the silent and very physical manner that the Bow strikes foes. Using modern materials to give unlimited power and versatility to this ancient weapon, a master of this style is a predator not to be provoked.
___Restrictions: • No energy bows can be used with this style That requires different training. •Practitioners must have adequate space to draw the string of there bow •Unless noted in a technique, Firing an arrow is equal to the same time frame as a saber stroke.
___S t a g e O n e [1]
Simple Shot Simple :: Rank E The user knocks a arrow, pulls the string the his/her cheek, and fires. Accurate enough to hit a human figure at 50 yards
Focused Shot Simple :: Rank E This shot takes all of the attack actions in a post, but its much more accurate, and can strike accurately at 75 yards.
Quick Shot Complex :: Rank E The user rips off two shots accurately in quick succession, both accurate enough to strike at 50 yards. • only counts as one attack
Long Shot Simple :: Rank E by aiming for one post The user doubles his effective distance and takes one accurate shot at 100 yards on the next post.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Practiced Shot Simple :: Rank D Now more practiced at shooting, the user can hit a target the size of a torso at 100 yards •
Relaxed Shot When taking his time, the user can hit a Basketball sized target at 150 yards • only one shot per post
Double Shot Complex :: Rank D The user makes his first impressive shot, knocking two arrows and firing them both at the same time at the same target, making damage much harder to avoid.
arrow stab Simple :: Rank D For when you are interrupted or a opponent is to close, just shank him with a arrow, and rip it back out for extra issues
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Experienced Shot Simple :: Rank> C The User is now officially and adept shot, and can strike out to a basketball sized target at 200 yards •
Spotter Simple :: Rank C Practice The user, through experience at targeting and range finding, can now easily determine the range and speed of any object in view not moving at excessive speed. Making shots on the move, and shooting moving targets much easier • This accounts fro the speed of things in nature, a man running or a bird flying. Things like a Force sprint, blaster bolts or a flying speeder are still too fast
Kime Simple Complex :: Rank C Through intense practice, the archer's focused shot is now deadly accurate even at 250 yards, and can hit a baseball sized target • only one shot in this post
Overdraw Simple :: Rank C Through extensive practice with a bow the archer can now push a bow's draw to it's very limits. This sacrifices a small amount of accuracy, but delivers the arrow at a much greater speed, making blocking or dodging the arrow much more difficult
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Death Shot Simple :: Rank B The Archers regular pace of shooting is now deadly and quick. allowing him to hit a baseball sized target at 350 yards
Triple Shot Complex :: Rank B The archer nocks and fires three arrows at one time, bringing a lot of firepower on one target
Resistance Training Simple :: Rank B practice Through all the resistance training of drawing the bow, an archer of this level has become strong in stance and arm. Balance and Upper body strength are moderately increased.
Arrow Creation Complex :: Rank B Practice The archer now learns to create and style his own arrows, creating different heads and functions out of modern technology opens a huge possibility in the Archers capacity to engage enemies • Use your imagination, but keep it reasonable, and obtain materials according to your idea
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Rapid Shot Complex :: Rank A The Archer, now at this stage officially earning the title of Hunter, and learns to fire three accurate and deadly shots in rapid succession, hitting a baseball at 250 yards. • Hunter is a title of pride to the practitioners of this style, and many Identify themselves with a necklace of teeth from a dangerous animal.
Stalker Complex :: Rank A Through long training, a Hunter learns the ways of stalking and hiding. Teaching him to conceal his position and move silently in even heavily forested areas. • A Complex maneuver that last for 5 post, even scent is thrown off, high rank detection skills will still spot the Hunter, for a additional 5 energy a Hunter can use breathing and centering techniques to even lower his force signature.
Ranger Simple :: Rank A practice The Hunter is now so adept at range finding and speed measurement that he automatically adjust for all but nigh impossible shots. Flying speeders, blaster shots, and sprinting force users can be adjusted for to still allow an accurate shot.
Push the Limit Simple :: Rank A The Hunter now fires the ultimate shot for archery, pushing the limits of distance and accuracy striking a dime at 400 yards •only one shot in post used
___S t a g e S i x [6] Marked for Death Simple :: Rank S Practice The hunter has learned to mark and monitor multiple targets in his mind, allowing him to simultaneously monitor up to four targets in his mind
Speed Shot Complex :: Rank S practice for an extra .5X Energy, the Hunter can blitz any technique in his arsenal to get the shot off almost instantly • for example a normal A rank cost 80 energy, so for 120 Energy a Hunter trained this way could point blank fire his A rank technique almost instantly.
Ricochet Shot Complex :: Rank S With quick focus and calculation, the Hunter bounces a shot off of a surface to attack around a barrier or assault his target at a new angle.
Total Wepon Simple :: Rank S practice The hunter is one with his bow, and is perfectly adept at blocking, striking, and moving in melee with he bow, many times firing into a opponent at near point blank range

Basai Bagua Breaking the Giant Enemy Circle
___Description: In the upper Shinlo province of the planet Quixuiquan in the Shin Shixyii system, there lived monks who practiced a sword form that dated back to the time of the ancient Sith. This form was used by these monks to combat invaders, some even Sith, who threatened their peace and prosperity, usually involving internal harmony. Due to the secluded, and slightly selective nature, the Monks were always out-numbered. So in order to make up for their lack of numbers, they made a style that was effective for a single blade against many opponents. The style relied heavily on footwork and body positioning, utilizing fluid and circular strikes and blocks while moving from weak to strong positions. They would never be still, always moving keeping their opponent off balance.
___Restrictions: • Must use a melee weapon that can be utilized one handed • User cannot be of a bulky, massive frame, or wear heavy armor • When entering a stance, the user then retains the bonuses and reductions of that stance until they take the time to alter it. ___S t a g e O n e [1] Simple Vertical Slash Simple :: E The user keeps their arm relaxed, and swings the sword by moving their whole upper body, making a simple cut from the opponents shoulder to opposite hip. Simple as it is, it is highly effective and easily chained into other techniques. Simple Horizontal Slash Simple :: E Prehaps the single most identifying technique in this style, this simple horizontal slash could keep multiple opponents at a distance, as cut an enemy in half. This technique could easily be followed other techniques, as the user uses their body to generate most of the force (like throwing a Frisbee).
Crashing Wave Complex :: E The user steps hard with their front leg while shoving the flat of the blade into the enemies midsection while placing their back hand onto the blade, adding power to the shove. This is a technique easily followed up by other techniques, and is highly useful when outnumbered as the shove can knock enemies into each other.
Circle Stepping Simple :: E :: Practice As per the training, using fluid circular stepping the monks were able to discern that they could use these style of movement to avoid most linear techniques, not even needing to block most attacks as they were simply not at the point of impact. The users ability to dodge melee attacks is increased.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Twin Fang Simple :: D The user takes a step forward and unleashes a quick same side upward vertical slash, then continues that momentum and performs a second slash on the opposite side. The first slash is usually used to make the enemy drop their blade to engage, and move their weapon away for the second one, or used to attack multiple opponents. Is easily followed by other techniques ”S”-cut Simple :: D The user extends their blade and utilizes a reverse horizontal cut (think tennis swing), then immedeatly drops low, continuing the momentum and aiming a horizontal slash for the opponents legs/ankles, aiming to attack their base and footing. This is usually used when trying to engage a single attacker, or dodge another opponents strike while continuing to engage multiple attacks. The first strike is to get them to defend high, and the second strike is to attack were they are not. Is easily followed by other techniques. Descending Crash Complex :: D The user vaults into the air while lifting their blade high over their head and comes crashing down with all their weight with an over the head powerful vertical slash, followed by a clearing horizontal slash low to the legs to either attack an unguarded opponent or clear a weapon away. The user then ends with a big, long, extending thrusting stab to the midsection with enough force to push a defending opponent away into another, or even knock them down. This combo moves can easily alter targets (providing they are within range) and easily followed by other techniques. Flowing Brook Simple :: D :: Training The user is now fluid enough to and capable enough to move an attack more effective then other people. After a complex technique, the user may string another complex technique after it at half the price. • A maximum of three complex techniques are allowed to follow this in one post. must pay for the full cost for highest level used, despite order.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Slap Deflection Simple :: C The user utilizes their training in circular footwork to avoid attacks, and now adds in a “slapping” like block to deflect the oncoming attack, and sometimes deflect it into another enemy. The user can then counter attack with a quick and fast horizontal or vertical strike either to the exposed attacker, or to an incoming unsuspecting opponent.
Flowing Circle Complex :: C The user, usually when surrounded by multiple opponents, will extend their weapon as far as then can then rotate their torso, even arching and extending behind them, making a full 360 degrees of coverage. This is used to not only attack and defend against a group of attackers, but is also used to survey how many and from what direction the other enemies are coming from. Is easily followed by other techniques.
Circle Walking Simple :: C :: Training The user is now more adept at using circle footwork that they can use it against multiple attackers, usually moving in and out between them, keeping them bumping into eachother or simply getting in each others way, taking away the numbers advantage. The users ability to slip, circle, dodge, dip, duck, dive, and…dodge is increased.
Returning Tide Simple :: C :: Training The user has fought against several opponents, usually when he is out numbered. His ability to recognize the crutial moment where there is an opening, or when to change targets to attack an unsuspecting enemy allows him to be a more effective combatant. The users effectiveness and ability to counter attack is increased.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Drilling Wave Simple :: B The user jumps in the air and aims a powerful descending thrust for the center of his opponent. Pulling the blade back and away, the user makes a tight 360 circle with his circle footwork while keeping his weapon extended to attack all surrounding opponents while aiming a powerful horizontal strike at anywhere on the opponents body (high medium or low). Easily followed by other techniques. Disarming Wave Complex :: B The user is able to apply their slipping and circular foot work with their tight blade work to work a disarming strike. When the opponents attacks the user, usually with a linear attack, the user slips out to the side with circular footwork then aims a slash (upward, downward, angular) for the focal point on the enemies blade, or if the situation calls for it, the wrist or hands holding the blade: Either slash could easily disarm the opponent, and send the blade flying…sometimes into another opponent. This technique is easily flowed into other techniques.
Weak Position Stance Simple :: B :: Training The user stands in a front stance, their weapon in one hand by their hip, tip pointing at the center of the enemies chest. The users knees are slightly bent while they stay light on their toes, making movement faster and dodging easier making fighting multiple opponents not as difficult. However their ability to block or deflect “strong” and brute force techniques in this stance is severely diminished. • Techniques in this stance are traditionally done with only hand, leaving the other hand free to engage others, or even use it as a distraction.
Strong Position Stance Simple :: B :: Training The User stands in a front stance their weapon held with two hands down by their hip. Their stance is more linear this time, blading off their body slightly to offer the opponent as little openings as possible. The blade crosses over the users midline, with the tip pointing at the enemies forehead. The user’s feet are firmly planted, making their strikes, blocks, and deflections have more power and effectiveness. However, when adding stability, the user’s mobility is decreased and forces the user to focus more on their blade work, requiring them to block more instead of simply avoiding and dodging. In this stance however, the user can readily deflect and block “strong” and brute force strikes. • Techniques in this stance are used with two hands, adding more power and stability to defenses , deflections, and strikes.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Block of Ice Simple :: A A rather simple block in theory, but very effective and powerful in the hands of a master in Basai Bagau. The user will step forward closer while circling away to the attack while forming a barrier with their blade between them and their attackers blade. When the blades are about to make contact, the user tightens their body, becoming “ice” so when the enemies attack hits their defense it not only doesn’t come through but it actually is bounced away, creating a great opening for the user to attack an exposed enemy with. This defense can interrupt combinations and even redirect incoming attacks for other opponent if there are multiple attackers. • Can be done in both stances, but retains the strengths and weaknesses of the stance used.
Dance of Crashing Water (attack Kata) Complex :: A The user goes on an all out attack that is able to completely destroy one attacker, and push back/injure multiple attackers. The user starts with a descending angular sword side vertical cut, then a opposite side descending angular vertical cut, then returning with two upward angular vertical cuts (opposite side then sword side). Continuing the flow, the user performs two horizontal strikes (back hand, then forehand). Stepping hard with his blade side leg, the user extends a long thrusting stab that can easily impale an enemy. The user usually rolls their wrist to make a small vertical slash to clear away any weapons around, or to use as a deflection on an enemies attack. The user can move with their circular footwork to move while performing this attack, making it more difficult for enemies to attack him especially with this onslaught of offense. • This cannot be used with "Flowing Brook"
Dance of Flowing Water Complex :: A The user, when surrounded by multiple opponents, can use their fast and tight circular foot work to coincide with their fast and tight blade work to make himself become an almost untouchable opponent. Using blocks and tight deflections, it feels like the user is simply attaching and guiding the enemies strikes to have them aim for each other, causing them to stumble and fall as he overextends them, brings their attack to almost hit the attacker, as well as allowing the attacks to be aimed for opponents around him making him seem like he is a puppeteer controlling a marionette. • Can be Done in either stance, retaining the strength and weakness of stance used. In weak position stance, this can last for 4 posts. In strong, it only lasts for 2. This technique has a 2 post cool down after its use.
Pervading Mist Simple :: A :: Training The user has dealt with so many situations dealing with multiple attackers and being outnumbered that their spatial awareness and ability to keep track of multiple people is greatly increased.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Tsunami Crash Simple :: S The user deflects an oncoming strike, then presses forward into a fast and effective stab. Using tight circular footwork, the user continues the momentum and circles while jumping in the air, performing a powerful over the head vertacle slash. The speed in which the user performs this technique makes it difficult to defend in the weak stance, and in strong stance a defender has a problem not falling or loosing hold on their weapon. The user could be surrounded, and suddenly burst into the technique, making it not only surprising but effective
Riptide Complex :: S The user begins to perform a massive amount of tight stabs and cuts to a single, making it nearly impossible for the one unfortunate being to defend against them all. The user is so effective at performing these techniques he can accurately move his body to line the opponents up “like fish” making it to the point that they are always in the way of the others.
Ripple in the Tides Simple :: S :: Training The user is now so proficient at these slight movements and slight dodging that the enemy feels like they are trying to fight a “ripple in the tide.” No matter how hard or how fast they try to cut and attack, the user seems to never be at the impact sight.
On Stranger Tides Simple :: S :: Training The master of this style is so well practiced that stances from other forms are able to perform and mold techniques from this style, and the other styles technqiues into these stances. The techniques take the bonuses and reductions of the stance that it is performed in, and continue until they state they change stance.

Rifle Expert Marksman Placing a blaster bolt exactly were intended
___Description: The blaster rifle has been the weapon of choice for any heavy armed thug, mercenary, soldier, and even droids ever sense its creation and addition to the arsenal of the Galaxy. Although when used by local thugs and body guards, collateral damage did not seem all to important. But when applied to the military and professional sectors that require precision, effective, and efficient use of fire power the blaster rifle application had to be rethought. This the expert marksman style was invented: for professional usage of placing a blaster bold precisely where it was needed, and how to do it like it was breathing.
___Restrictions: • only 2 handed blaster weapons may be used with this style (rifles, carbines, ect) • Seeing as a blaster is a rather simplistic weapon, this style has lots of practice technqiues in it. These practices only apply to 2 handed blaster weapons.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Hip Fire Simple :: E The simple act of holding the gun at ones hip, or whatever is a natural position (not shouldered or aiming) and discharging the weapon at an opponent. Not the most accurate shot, but nice and easy to perform when a blaster bolt needs to be sent down range…and fast. Iron Sights Simple :: E A simple act of bringing the weapon up to the shoulder of the users, allowing them to look down iron sights (in some cases an optical lens or aim assistance device) to line up a shot and have a much better idea where the bolt is going to hit. Slower than the hip fire shot, but much more accurate • This position must be used to utilize an optic
One Eye Practice :: E The user, while utilizing the “Iron sights” position, closes their non-dominant eye to eliminate a ghost image and really zero in on the target. Although this greatly increases accuracy on a single target, it lessens down the perception field of the user as well as slows their ability to change targets, aquire the target, and fire on another target.
Combat Push Complex :: E This is a simple push used with the non trigger hand to get the overzealous close range fighter away from you. Although simple, it is great to gain a little distance allowing the user to use their long range weapon with more effectiveness.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Taking Cover Practice :: D It doesn’t take a genius to know that when blaster bolts start flying that you don’t wanna get in their way, but this technique allows the user to be more effective at finding “good” cover as well as returning fire down range…including bind fire. Combat Roll Simple :: D The user will drop and roll, making a rather akward target and movement for other shooters to aim at, thus allowing them to more easily move into cover, or move from a getting destroyed or now gone cover. Usually done from a kneeing position, but can be done from standing. The user cannot shoot while performing this technique.
Center Shot Simple :: D The user is quick at recognizing the center of mass of their target, using that as their general aiming point, even at a distance. Although blaster bolts are not affected by things like wind, and altitude, this allows the user to be more quick at shouldering their weapon and hitting their target: it be close range or at longer distances. • Longer distance accuracy shots need a magnified optic.
Front Butt Stroke attack Simple :: D Usually a surprise attack, but the user is trained to us this when someone gets within their hand to hand range. Taking a step, the user brings up the butt of their rifle and quickly shoves it for the face on their unsuspecting foe. Usually a great stunning blow, it gives the user time to either back up and fire, or set up even more physical attacks in case they need the subject alive.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Walking Shot Simple :: C :: Practice The user is adept enough at shooting accurately that they can do it now while walking at a moderate pace. This is usually utilized to either pin an enemy down as the user changes cover, or to flank and catch an enemy while they are moving. • The user only has the increases/penalties of the shot style they are using
Sleight of hand Simple :: C :: Practice The user has now used and is comfortable enough with a blaster that they are more fluid and adept at shouldering their weapon making the interval and time of acquiring a target smaller. Also, the user has handled the blaster enough that they are much faster and reloading and changing energy cells.
Steady Aim Simple :: C :: Practice The user has shot so many rounds that he understand the recoil of their weapon better, and has a slightly increased accuracy when firing at the hip. This is usually used to law down suppressing fire, or when the user needs both their eyes to survey the battle field.
Bayonet Stab Complex :: C A technique as old as firearms, the user has a attached to the front of their weapon a blade like weapon, it be a physical blade or even one resembling lightsaber technology. Either way, the user quickly thrusts this blade at an enemy, skewering them like the pig they are. This is usually aimed for center of mass, but most Space Marines aim for the throat.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Multi-center Simple :: B The user, raising their weapon to their shoulder, is able to sight multiple targets and fire a single bolt quickly and effectively at each center of mass. The transition between targets can be varied by distance between them, and the targets can only be infront of the user. • This techniques effectiveness is greatly increased when two eye is learned.
Rapid Fire Simple :: B :: Practice The user is so accustomed to the trigger pull of the weapon that they are able to make the weapon fire slightly faster, no matter what the firing selector is. • Only works for 2 handed blaster weapons of at least medium fire rate
Side Butt stroke attack Complex :: B Another one of the close range techniques, this one is rather quick to perform and recover from, allowing the user to get back to firing position. The user takes the butt of their stock and acts like they are throwing an elbow, making the butt of the weapon the impact sight allowing the user to quickly reshoulder the weapon back to firing position. This strike can easily stagger or even drop an unsuspecting opponent, and easily leave them open to fire from the user.
Quick Switch Simple :: B :: Practice The user, if their weapon ammo runs low, malfunctions, distance changes, or if the weapon is dropped is able to quickly grab a side arm and quickly have it readied to be able to be used. • Sidearm can be a pistol or a small blade (lightsbaers included). No large weapons (swords, axes, large blasters)
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Climbing shot Simple :: A The user, after shouldering their weapon, aims a series of shots for a single target with each shot hitting high on the target. This is normally done in a three burst spread, first one hitting center of mass, the second shot hitting the upper chest and neck area, with the last shot hitting anywhere on the head. • Must learn rapid fire first.
Marathon Simple :: A The user has now faced many opponents on many battlefields, either as a single person as a member of a unit. Understanding the importance of movement on the battlefield, the user simply holds their weapon sideways allowing the arms to pump so they may run at full speed, allowing them to become a much harder target to hit so they may breach large gaps to get to better cover. • User cannot shoot while using marathon, after 5 full posts, the user will be tired and have a fast heart rate, making long accurate shots difficult.
Two eye Simple :: A :: Practice The user has now practiced enough and fought on enough battle fields that he can keep a weapon shouldered, but keep both eyes open while moving, and only closing one eye to make a shot. This allows them to keep a full view of the battle field and maintain full accuracy and use of optics when they are shooting.
Upward Butt attack Complex :: A The user quickly executes an upward butt stock attack to the opponent, raising the back of the weapon in an uppercut like motion. Usually catching the enemy benieth the jar, this sends them falling backwards, usually outcold pr at least with a ringing head. If the user is particularly nasty and prepared, when they dropp the weapon back to firing position they can usually use a bayonet to slahs the now exposed enemy.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Headshot Simple :: S The user is now accurate enough that they can simply aim for the head, with the weapon shouldered, and have a very high chance of hitting their target, even if they enemy is moving. • Long range shots will require magnifying optics
Fire Stability Simple :: S :: Practice The user has now fired so often that they can shoot in almost any position, using anything and everything, even in cover, to keep their aim steady. This greatly reduces recoil, and allows the user to place multiple shots quickly and effectively on target. When in cover, this is a great asset to suppressing fire.
Bayonet Rush Complex :: S Using all their training, aggression, and pure guts, the user leaves cover with their weapon at their hip and bayonet on, running at full speed while firing suppressing, yet accurate fire at the enemy. Once in range, the user will quickly thrust their bayonet into the opponent, usually several times, and able to shoulder their weapon again and continue fighting, usually putting more rounds in their dying target or their back up, stealing the cover of their dead or dying enemy. The user can stab multiple opponents with the bayonet as long as they are at close proximity with the original target. • during the post this is used, the user can use other close range complex techniques (from this style only) at half their cost, to a max of three.
Expert Marksman Simple :: S :: Practice Few have rarely made it to the level of being labled an “expert marksman” but those who do are invaluable to whatever group or organization they belong, including themselves. The user now understands and nearly perfected the mechanics to shooting accurately, and can do so while in almost any situation. They can now shoot while running (not at full speed), hunched over or concealing, while laying down, and even while flying and jumping. They are so effective at their one eye and two eye method that they do it like it was blinking, making them an asset on all battle fields.

Tal'galar Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur. Today is a good day for someone else to die.
___Description: Tal'galar in Mando'a means to spill blood, and that is exactly what users of this style were taught to do. Users of this style were taught total war, a merciless and unregulated kind of fighting where there was no such thing as "no below the belt." Nothing was off-limits to exploit. They were taught to keep attacking until the opponent was dead or you were dead, no matter what the cost. This style was a combination of close quarters combat, grapples, and bludgeoning and is full of brutal and dangerous attacks. Because the weapon generally used with this style was so rare outside of the Mandalore system, this style is usually taught with vibroaxes. Some members of the Sith have used this form of combat and the Jedi have renounced it, calling the fighting style a teaching of the Dark Side, even after it was used by legend Jaina Solo to defeat the Dark Lord Darth Caedus centuries ago.
___Restrictions: • Must use beskad{e}, vobroaxe, or vibrosword • Jedi affiliated characters are not able to use this style unless they defect to Sith or Grey Jedi(do to philosophical reasons) • Any Body type can use this style, though some techniques are less effective for smaller, scrawnier people • ___S t a g e O n e [1] Nynir{To strike} Simple :: Rank E The Simple vertical, horizontal, or diagonal attack with the weapon.
Motir{To stand} Simple:: Rank D :: Training Now used to the weight of the blade, one can move and attack faster and easier with the weapon
Atin{Stubborn} Simple:: Rank E A simple, yet dangerously effective attack, the user rushes at his/her opponent as if to tackle them. Instead however, with the weapon tucked into one's torso, the user gets in close and stabs for the stomach. Though unexpected and easily countered, this technique can be devastating. •Heavier characters do more damage but are easier to counter due to their size, and smaller people do less damage but are harder to hit and can get away easier from this bladed grapple.
Inside Sweep Simple:: Rank E A simple, quick slide or dash, pushing one's self deep into the opponent's personal bubble. A risky move against users of longer ranged melee weapons, this sets up for most attacks in the style. •Usually utilizing the strength of one's armor one can execute this with little chance of severe damage to one's body.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Aranar{Defend} Complex :: Rank D Getting into an opponent's bubble is no easy task. This technique is usually used in conjunction with Inside Sweep. Using the flat side of the weapon, one can parry an opponent's attack while pushing him or herself closer to the opponent.
A'den{Rage} Simple :: Rank D A heavier attack than Nynir, this is still a basic slash in any one direction. This is usually used in conjunction with Nynir as a follow up attack.
Haili Cetare!{Fill Your Boots} Complex :: Rank D Executed with your back to the opponent, the user spins around like a windmill and attacks with a closed fist back hand followed up by a diagonal cut at the mouth or cheek. The attack is deceivingly elegant and designed for extreme close quarters combat if you somehow get this close to your opponent. One can also follow up with an attack using the flat side of the blade to render the opponent unconscious.
Udesiir{To Relax} Simple:: Rank D :: Training The hard training with the heavy weapon has increased weapon stability, damage output, as well as the character no longer being hindered in any way shape of form by the weight of the blade. ___S t a g e T h r e e [3]
Ori{Extreme} Simple :: Rank C A third strike to the combo started by Nynir, this is usually a quick jab at the torso or other vital organs.
Abiik{Air} Simple :: Rank C :: Training The blade now feels light as a feather and the user is able to easily switch from the heavier, basic attack style to the more flexible style as well as being able to switch to a lighter weapon without being thrown off.
Mythosaur's Memory Simple :: Rank C :: Training The user has used his or her weapon so much that they have gained muscle strength and a small amount of muscle mass. Their new strength increases the destructive force of their blows.
Beskar Fist Simple :: Rank C A simple pommel strike designed to break or dislocate joints on the humanoid body.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Bas Neral Simple :: Rank B Named after a coarse grain native to Mandalore, this technique is designed to take advantage of another weak point on the human body, the mouth. Similar in concept to the Beskar Fist, this attack is an uppercut from a standing or crouching position using the pommel of the user's weapon.
Jai'galaar{Shriek Hawk} Simple :: Rank B Named after the fearsome Shriek-hawk, this attack is a follow up to Ori. A clean cut straight up from wherever Ori was intended to land. Simple in execution, this attack was meant to break ribs and other bones in the torso area.
Keldabe Kiss Complex :: Rank B After getting in close with the other techniques in this style, the user can, if he or she has the quad to do so, smash their head into their opponent's in a classic headbutt. •Obviously will do more damage if user is wearing a helmet.
Tracinya{Flame} Simple :: Rank B A quick roundhouse kick to the head followed by a diagonal cut. The motion is fluid and quick, similar to Haili Cetare but from the front and much more powerful and devastating.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Uj'ayl Complex :: Rank A Named after a sweet, sticky syrup commonly used on Mandalore, this brutal tactic to get into their opponent's "bubble" does its namesake proud. The user ducks under an opponent's attack and uses either their foot or their weapon to trap their opponent's foot by slamming or stabbing into the foot.
Tra{Starfield} Complex :: Rank A The final finish to the five strike combo, the user initiates a repeat of the past four attacks in a quick flourish. It will leave you seeing stars.
Orar{Thunder} Simple :: Rank A The user uses the flat side of the blade and slams it into his opponent's ear or face. This is usually used to get out of sticky situations or pins.
Gett{Nut} Complex :: Rank A Though it may seem a simple thing to throw a blade, this skill is honed to the point where a person could toss a nut and their blade soon after, cutting the nut cleanly in half. Usually a head shot this attack is one of the most brutal and crazy in its arsenal. • Accurate up to ten meters
___S t a g e S i x [6] Total War Complex :: S In Total War there are no discrepancy between what is right and what is wrong. There is only victory, no matter the cost. Total War is a flurry of combos to vulnerable places on the opponents body. Weather it be poking out their eyes, bitting their ear, or giving them a good thump in the family jewels. All of this of course is done with a razor sharp edge.
Kandosii{Indomitable} Complex :: S The most dangerous of all Tal'galar techniques, the user rushes head first into an attack, parrying the blow with the fore arms and tackles into the opponent, straddling his or her opponent. Using usually the opponents weapon, the user beats at their opponent until they counter.
Vhett{Farmer} Complex :: S Based on the original fighting style of the Mandillian Giants combined with the wide sweep used by farmers to reap their crops, Vhet is a wide arcing cut, followed by a brutal leaping strike from above.
K'atini!{Suck it up!} Somplex :: S :: Training Through countless beatings and duels, the user is not only able to swing his or her blade with ease, one can take a larger amount of punishment in battle.

Deathstalker The use of Gun and Sword at Once
___Description: In the Modern era of warfare, a good blaster is as good as 100 of your best friends unarmed to back you up. Yet at close range, many people still prefer the good old metallic blade at one’s side that can, in a single slice, kill even the biggest S.O.B around. The Deathstalkers are a unique breed of warriors, who not only employ both weapons…they do it at the same time. Finding blade work to be a great defense, while supplying some offense, the good old blaster they carry offers all the range and firepower they will need.
___Restrictions: • The user of this style uses a blade in one hand, and a blaster in the other. • The blade can be a simple knife, to a one handed sword • The blaster can be from a hold out blaster to a heavy blaster (may not be a repeater blaster) ___S t a g e O n e [1] Slash Simple :: E The user takes their sword and uses a rather large motion, taking a step to add some weight to the attack, and drops a simple vertical slash at the opponent. Although simple, it is still greatly effective. Shoot Simple :: E The user aims their blaster for the center of mass of the opponent and pulls the trigger, sending a single bolt at the opponent.
Stance of Two Simple :: E :: Training The user holds one weapon in each hand, usually deciding to put the blaster in their dominant hand and the sword in the off hand. Eventually, someone can make their off hand their good hand. It is a basic stance designed for large sweeping motions and lots of open space.
Stab Simple :: E As the name suggests, the user takes a step and aims a one handed stab for the midsection of the opponent.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Three Sword Attack Simple :: D The user performs a forehand horizontal swing with their sword, then a back hand horizontal swing, then takes a step forward and performs a long stab into the midsection of the opponent. Triple Shot Simple :: D The user aims his blaster for a triangle on the midsection of the enemy. This is a rather simple technique, but when utilized properly it is more then effective. Side roll shoot Complex :: D The user suddenly rolls out to the side in a combat roll while swinging their blade. Upon completion of the roll, the user will stand or rise to one knee and begin to fire their blaster at the exposed side of a possibly injured target. Rise and Fire Complex :: D The user performs a rising vertical swing in an attempt to either cut the opponent or move their protection, then lay a quick and sneaky blaster shot for the opponent. Unfortunately, the use is not accurate without a full arm extension while shooting, thus opening their arm to attack.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Deathblok Complex :: C The user performs a hard one handed block into the enemies attack, stopping all momentum. Once the block is finished, the user fires their blaster at the enemy, catching them off guard. The revealer Simple :: C A pinnacle technique to the Deathstalkers, the user performs a backhanded horizontal slash while keeping their blaster close to their body, using their center line to aim for the target. The user can also swing back with a forehand strike, keeping the blaster trained on their target. At this distance, the sword acts as the defense/distraction while the blaster acts as the offense. Death comes runnin’ Complex :: C This is a very effective and efficient method of closing the distance on an unfortunate opponent. The user breaks out into an all out sprint, firing their blaster with every step to either pin down the opponent or attack multiple opponents. Once the distance is closed, the user can proceed to engage close combat. Close position Simple :: C :: Training Instead of needing a full arm extension to shoot accurately, the user can now hold the blaster in close to their body, just off their center line. This is a much more secure position, and allows the user to move more fluidly and in tighter spaces.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Quick draw: Pistol Simple :: B The user must practice ferverishly to get their ability to get their weapon up and moving in case it is ever needed. Using their dominant hand, they practice continually drawing their weapon from wherever they conceal it, and bring it to close position. Quick Draw: Sword Simple :: B Once again practicing drawing their weapons in case they need it, the user reaches to wherever they keep it and draw it bringing it to a defensive position. This technique is used just incase they need to quickly have their weapons prepared. Number 5 Simple :: B The user aims the blaster at the opponent, and rips of a quick 5 shots at the opponents midsection, able to place all shots within the size of a softball. Slip and Stick Simple :: B The user jumps back a slight bit to just avoid the reach of the opponents strike, then shoots in with a low horizontal swing aiming to take the opponents legs out from under them. Then aiming their blaster for the opponent, aims a quick shot for a vulnerable target on the body.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Circle of Death Complex :: A The user steps forward, continually spinning like they where dancing, and performs several horizontal slashes at multiple levels. While this is occurring, they are firing their blaster as they rotate, wither in extended or close position, making a full circle of fire power that acts as both offense and defense allowing the user to take on multiple opponents, keep them at bay, or focus all their attacks on one opponent. Shooting Death Simple :: A When the user engages into combat, they quickly draw their blaster and begin a barrage of blaster bolts on a single target, looking to finish them or pin them down. This is a perfect retreat tactic, or when the user has a friend around, it can aid in flanking and killing of the target. The user fires between 10-15 blaster bolts very quickly, making it difficult for anyone to be able to move position during this attack. Reverse Grip Simple :: A :: Training The user now is good enough with a sword or blade but they can hold it reverse gripped. Although looks slightly unwieldy in this stance, it does increase all the defensive capabilities of the user at the cost of using the sword for any real offensive purposes. Deadly timing Simple :: A :: Training Due to the nature of this style, the user’s body timing is greatly increased to allow them to be able to attack people with sword and blaster at close range, and have a significantly less chance of hitting themselves (crossing firing lanes and such.)
___S t a g e S i x [6] Death Combo Simple :: S The user performs a slash at the enemy, it be horizontal or vertical, and shoots at the same time. This offers the enemy a two prong attack that is deadly on both ends. Can only pull the trigger once during this attack. • Can only use this technique once a post
Deadly Defense Complex :: S The user is well versed in the art of using a sword and a gun at the same time that they can use their sword in an almost impenetrable defense, suing parrys and blocks while shooting their blaster at the enemy, either sending them back, killing them, or making them think twice about their attack. Can defend/shoot up to 10 attacks per use of this technique.
Swift Death Simple :: S :: Training In order to make this style effective in combat, the user needs to be able to move and change body position quickly, rapidly, and efficiently. The users movement speed is increased.
Strong Death Simple :: S :: Training The user has performed countless blocks, strikes, and defensive maneuvers with a single hand that their ability to defend against stronger, 2 handed strikes is greatly increased. Unfortunately, this style still holds the defensive weakness to strong, brute force, and penetrating strikes.

Spartus I am the Shield, and the Shield will never Falter
___Description: Throughout the waves of time, weapons have changed, technology will become more advanced, and warfare will never be what it once was. Contrary to this change, there has been a single weapon that has stood the test of time: The shield. Technology has allowed these shields to be lighter, more durable, and even in certain aspects reflective.
___Restrictions: • The user can utilize either a solid shield, or an energy shield. • The shields can very in sizes, but for overall effectiveness they need to be movable and usually cover the whole body. • Physical shields are harder to move, but offer a very strong offensive attack. Energy shields are easier to move defensively, but with the lack of weight do not offer the same type of damage that a physical shield could. ___S t a g e O n e [1] Simple Cover Simple :: E The most basic of all techniques, the user places their shield infront of them, usually on the ground to cover their lower body, and crouches behind it to keep cover from fire or other attacks. Although effective defensivly, it almost negates all options of mobility or return fire, but is absolutely effective against ranged attackers. Vertical Melee Defense Simple :: E The user raises their shield above their head, making an easy defense against a vertical melee attack.
Forward Complex :: E When faced with an attack that is a continual onslaught, the user pushes forward with the strength of their legs into the attack moments before impact, causing it to occur prematurely and forcing the attacker out of position. From here, the user can lower their defense and expose themselves allowing for a form of counter attack to be put back at the enemy. •
Reflex block Complex :: E After being caught off guard or surprised, the user quickly raises their shield infront of them to defend against an attack, whatever form it may come from. Although effective, the user’s positioning is slightly off and can be pushed back or off balanced by sheer force attack. •
___S t a g e T w o [2] Defensive walk Simple :: D The user keeps their shield in front of them, raising it ever so slightly as to not have it drag on the ground • Defensive Circle Simple :: D Now slightly more adept at moving with their shield, the user is able to walk on an angle, but still perfectly eclipsing their body with their shield, allowing them to move with more freedom while keeping protected. This is a sheer defensive technique, offering little ability to counter attack physically, although ranged weapons are easier to handle but not very accurate. • Shield Bash Complex :: D The user, once in melee range, quickly pushes their shield forward into the opponent, aiming primarly for the upper body or face area. This is a quick attack that the user can use to push off an attack, off balance, or catch them by surprise as this technique can occur even if the user is on a complete defensive. • Defensive stance Simple :: D :: Training The user keeps their shield infront of them at all time, offering very little if any openings at all for the enemy to attack them at. Although useful in not getting the user hit, it reduces the chances and effectiveness of counter attacking at the cost of having an almost inpenetrable defensive shell. •
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Defensive rush Simple :: C The user now holds their shield infront of them like a battering ram and quickly charges the enemy. This is extremely effective against long range attackers, especially if their fireing lanes and trajectories are confined to a single direction. If the user wishes, they can actually use their shield as a battering ram and bump/run over an enemy, either knocking them down or off balancing them. • If the user chooses to attack during this technique, it is used as a complex technique Shield Deflection Simple :: C The user, when faced with a melee attack, shifts into the attack and bashes the attack with their shield, arcing it in a direction away from the user while keeping his shield clear of return fire.
Shield Attack Complex :: C The user, at melee range, quickly arcs the side of their shield for the enemy by swinging their arm. The side of the shield will smash into the head, usually throat, of the enemy causing them extreme pain and damage while opening them ups for other counter attacks. Can be done in multiple successions at half the cost (after paying full cost first time.) • Maximum of three times a post. Moderate stance Simple :: C :: Training The user stands with their shiled eclipsing most of their body, but leaves their other arm slightly exposed to allow for a much more effective and efficient stance for counter attacking with multiple types of weapons. In this stance, the user is also more mobile then the defensive stance, but has less ability for absolute defense and cover. •
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Shield Running Simple :: B Usually in the moderate stance, the user is able to now full out run with their shield up. Their body is largely covered with only their legs and their other weapon arm and shoulder exposed. Although effective for attacking and retreating, their movements and akward weighting makes ranged attacking during this difficult. • Shield flip Complex :: B The user runs at their opponent, or hunkers down while they are running at him, and at the moment of impact bashes their shield at the opponent but gets it under them. Stepping in and under the opponent, the user raises their shield sending the opponent hurtling over them to the ground below. From here, the user has multiple counter attack options they can choose from. • Barrier of the Moving shield Complex :: B When faced with a fast melee opponent, the user is capable of moving their shield repeatedly while at the same time moving their feet to maintain the strongest defensive position while keeping mobility and allowing some, thought little, form of counter attack to be returned when the combination is done. • Minumum cost is a B rank. If the opponent uses a higher hank combination (A or S) then the user can pay the identical amount to make this technique effective. Only effective against one combination per usage. Speeding shield Simple :: B :: Training The user has now done so many defensive position with their shield that they are much faster at reacting, getting into a defensive position. Defensive technique speed increased. •
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Bunker shield Simple :: A A very simple but effective technique, the user ceases all motion and presses into their shield with their strong legs. This position, being a geometrically stable, is effective against resisting stronger types of attacks (concussion blasts, ect) and shockwaves (from bombs or thermal detonators) ruling in the shield can actually handle that much damage. • Returning Shield Complex :: A The user keeps themselves covered to take any damage or attack the opponent sends their way at bay, then quickly frees their shield from their body to allow more freedom of motion, making all forms of melee counter attacks extremely effective. Once it is done, the shield returns as fast it had left, keeping the body covered. • The user can do this 5 times per cost of this technique Repeated Bashing Complex :: A The user performs 5-7 continual bashings of their shield at either one or multiple enemies sending their attacks away from them allowing the user to counter attack. If the shield is aimed for the opponent, then great physical damage can be done, knocking the enemy down and even taking them off their feet. Strong Frame Simple :: A :: training The User has dealt through several strong attacks, with much of the physical momentum going through the shield into his body. After such repeated training and physical abuse, the user now has a greater understanding of their frame, of mechanics, and body structure to make their movements more precise and structurally strong. The users ability to cause physical damage with their shield as well as defend against strong attacks is increased.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Attack Attack Complex :: S The user waits for a moment of impact on their shield, and continues the contact with the melee weapon like a weapon lock. Stepping in to dominate the space, the user now has an ample amount of room and positioning to counter attack the opponent.
Army of Two Simple :: S The user enters a full defensive stance, without any capability of counter attack. However, this does not mean they cannot attack. They have a good body behind them to do it for them! The user acts as mobile cover for a friend to come in and “stack up” with them, allowing the user to defend both of them with the partner only revealing themselves when they are counter attacking. •
Aggressive Stance Simple :: S :: Training The user now thinks of their shield as more of a weapon then it is a shield, and also carries another weapon in their other hand! Their mobility and attacking ability is significantly increased, but their overall defensive capabilities are greatly lowered. However, with the use of pure energy and movement, they are capable of still their unbelievable defensive capabilities while now being a powerful offensive asset. • All simple defensive techniques utilized in this stance are treated as complex, but cost half their value. E ranks are free, D costs 5 energy, C costs 10 energy, ect.
Double Shield strike Complex :: S The user waits for an enemy to be in med melee attack when the suddenly drop low, slamming their shield into the foot of the attacking opponent, usually stopping the attack dead in its tracks. From here the user bursts forwards and raises their shield to clear the possible attack away before the slamming the but of the shield into the enemies throat, or bumping into them and knocking them to the ground. • This technique has a 1 post cool down. Can only be used once in a post.
