(Before the Sickness was unleashed in Bhanu'Ecchumati - Rogue Land Travels)
Thona's rogue travels were coming to an end. It wasn't nearly as successful as he had hopped, but it can't always go his way. He'd never openly admit that to anyone in his pride though. Everything goes his way there, at least, that is what he wanted everyone to think. He wasn't in the greatest of moods, not at all. He showed none of it, though. He kept his face stern, and pawed the ground softly, making his way back towards his pride.
He left it often, but didn't leave it for a long period of time. Rahu was his right hand man, and took care of everything while he was gone, but he didn't like leaving Rahu in charge for too long. He didn't want to give his old friend any ideas about taking over his land, No.... His bones smacked together as he walked fastly threw the land. He had grown so use to the sound of them, that he forgot how much noise they could actually make. Of course, that wasn't really any problem to him. He didn't care who knew where he was. Anyone about now, would be good, actually. He was bored, and his mood was slowly slipping.

The lioness had been spoiled all of her life, her name meant princess and she was treated like one when she was younger in her pride with her father. As she grew though she wanted more, she wanted to be more than a princess, she craved it and she wanted to be treated like the best lioness on the face of the planet. And it wasn't long until that was what she was treated like. She was wandering her pridelands and what she now knew as a pirate came her way and convinced her to leave her home and make a new life, and he promised her that she would be a 'queen'. She wasn't exactly a queen. She became the "Head Corsiar. It wasn't that bad because she was basically the queen. Although not exactly in charge of the males she was in charge of the other lionesses around the pride. That was good enough for her, she was also the mate of the main male in the pride. She wasn't his only girl though, he went out and had flings with others and even though Adaeze didn't really like not being the only female, she did enjoy on the other hand not having to have cubs for him.
But that was why she was grumpy today and wandering away from the pride. He wanted her to have cubs and she wasn't that sure of how she felt about that at the moment. She really didn't want to, she didn't want cubs they were dumb, she didn't really know how to take care of cubs. Did queens really have to have cubs? She guessed that was part of the job but that didn't mean that she was a big fan of it! It still made her grumpy and unhappy. She didn't like being grumpy and unhappy but that how she was going to handle this. She wandered toward a tree that she normally andered to when she was being grumpy around the pride. She settled down in front of it with a huff mumbling to herself quietly as she did.

In the distance, Thona noticed a rather comfy looking tree. He decided he needed a bit of a rest before continuing on, it was late in the afternoon, perhaps, he wasn't sure. He didn't really care what time it actually was. He just felt a need to lay down and ponder the direction of which he was going to go. The long way home, or the shorter? Choices, choices. It wouldn't be much of a choice, he knew he'd end up going the shorter way, like every time. It seemed most logical when he was away from the pride.
He didn't notice that it was being occupied until it was too late to turn back now. Though, it wasn't like he wanted to. He had spotted a female. A victim to torture, perhaps. A grin crept up his face as he slowed down to a easy pace. He didn't want to frighten the lioness, after all. He wanted a chance to try to woo her if possible. His true weakness was the thought of making more strong cubs he could take with him home. Of course, most the time he wasn't successful. Either the female wasn't of his liking, or she proved to be a pain.
He hoped today would be different.

The lioness was not any of what the male thought that she could be. Not at all really, however on the other hand she was grumpy, but yet she did not know of the intentions of the male. But his work wasn't going to be rewarded. The female although she would totally flirt she would not do anything more than that. The reason why is because she always liked flirting and if it was to get some one to get along with her or to really spite her mate she wouldn't go far enough to go beyond that because that just generally wasn't how she was.
She flicked her tail around behind her and looked up at the leopard coming her way. She wasn't used to seeing leopards. She never really seen them that often, but she didn't mind. They weren't that bad however she though that they were strange creatures. so were wilddogs. She didn't mind though they were mostly different. She looked up and then nodded at the male that was coming her way. She flicked her hair around a few times before then nodding once again. "Hello there sir." She said simply with a nod before smiling brightly once again and then flicking her hair out of her eyes. "How are you?" She asked very curiously.

He pondered her for a moment, she wasn't anything he really was attracted to, but that never stopped him before. He sized her up, in cased things went south more than usual. Never had he ended up fighting with a female out side his own pride. He took a moment or two before answering. "Hello." he finally said he decided today he wanted to play the normal rogue male.
Though, sometimes it was hard at that, for he smelled like a pride, and anyone who was in a pride could pick up that. He was up wind from her, so he couldn't really scent if she was from one or not. "I suppose I could be better." He spoke as he stopped close to her, but far enough away that it wouldn't make her feel threatened at all. "Yourself?"
Starting off like this always bored Thona, but sometimes it couldn't be helped. He had no way of knowing her personality, and he had to find out before he could pick the right act to put on. Of course, that normally didn't take long. Lately, he'd ended up just being himself and things turned ugly making the female leave him in the dust. Or something of that sort.

Adaeze looked at the male and then shook her head a small smile was on her face, she wasn't what she was going to do at this point. She wanted to flirt some one again almost as if to spite her mate as she was already figuring to do. All though he would never know, at the same time she didn't really care. It would make her feel better that was for sure. She paused and then flicked her hair out of her eyes before nodding toward the male. "How could it be better, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked curiously, flicking her hair out of her eyes, a smile still on her lips.
The lioness paused for a moment flicking her tail around. She didn't really know what to think about the male really, he wasn't from here at all. She paused and moved forward, walking closer to the male. She paused for a moment and then moved a little closer to the male. "You're not from around here are you?" She asked her curiously not that sure of what to think about it otherwise. She paused flicking her hair out of her eyes and then nodded to him. "Or at least I haven't seen you around here before."

Instantly a smirk almost crossed his face. She almost walked into his word trap. He wondered if he should play the jerk, she wasn't really the colors he was interested in, and he hadn't tried to piss off a female before. "Well, I could be better if I had someone to fool around with." He simply said with a shrug of his shoulders. It depended on how she answered that to how he would actually act. He liked to play his own little games while meeting others. It made things more interesting.
"No, I'm wondering" That was all he needed to say. It wasn't like it mattered where he came from. If she was in a pride, he rather not say. He didn't really need anyone attacking his lands at this precise moment. He was lacking a bit in that department. He wanted a huge army before encountering a pride fight. Preferably when he did the attacking, as well.

Adaeze paused as she looked at the leopard not that sure of what to say about the male, or for that matter to the male. He was interesting right off bat that was for sure and not only that but hthe way he was talking was also something extremely interesting and that was something that she had to admit for sure. She had not a clue in the world. She stared for a few moments before speaking to him curiously. "Fool around?" She asked curiously arching a brow at him trying to figure out what he meant by that. She flicked her tail around behind her before sitting back more comfortably on her haunches and then nodding at him.
"I would have an answer for you but I'm not exactly that sure of how to answer your question. She paused before flicking her hair out of her eyes and smirking a little as she did. She couldn't help it. she did like her mate however he did make her grumpy.

She didn't get what he meant? A shame... Or perhaps that was better. He could always "show" her if he played the grass right. He flicked his tail and raised a brow back at her. "Well... You know... Messing around with someone in a type of physical way." He wasn't sure how clear he could get without actually saying it. She could take it either way, he just hoped she would take it the right way, and be okay with it... If not, then he'd probably get rather pissed off and show his true colors towards the female.
He watched her carefully. He wasn't really into her colors, but he'd be happy to get whatever he could right now. He was getting restless with those around his pride lately.

Adaeze looked at the male and was almost upset as he explained what he wanted. she really wasn't in the mood to act like that to her mate. she wanted to flit with another but if that was what the male wantedt o do she could go off and find something better. at one point in her old pride she could get away with doing things like that. Or at least she thought she could, she wasn't really sure if they approved of leopards there. She didn't even remember anymore. That was upsetting that was for sure. Other wise she knew that she couldn't get away with that now because of the things it might bring on.
She sighed and shook her head. "Ah that kind of fooling around I cannot do." She explained very simply, if the male had a problem with that she knew that she could find some one else to spend some time with and flirt with. Or she would go back to pirato and start a fight. That would at least be amusing to ehr.

Slight anger rushed over him. She led him on a tiny bit, and that didn't make him happy at all. He frowned at her for a moment and just stared, he wasn't sure exactly what he wanted to do. "And why is that?" He asked bluntly. Maybe too blunt, but he wasn't in the mood to be charming about it, not anymore anyways. She rubbed him the wrong way with the words he didn't want to hear. He always hated it when females did that.
Never was it easy to seduce females, but once no came out of their mouth, he knew it wouldn't be easily swayed back into the direction he was hoping for. He felt he'd come out of this little meeting with empty paws... He didn't like it one bit.

Adaeze looked at the male a little annoyed and also a little confused. She didn' like the way he was suddenly acting. This made her upset even more than she was before. Why were all guys dumb? She wasn't even that sure anymore. She huffed and then shook her head. "Well if you're going to act like that I don't get the point of even talking to you." She huffed and then stood up straight shaking her head at him. "That is no way of getting anywhere, especially with me." She didn't like it when some one acted rude to ehr. She was a queen (Sort of) in her pride and she deserved to be treated like one. "Good bye sir!" She said sharply as she started to head the other way. He could keep wandering around trying to get ladies to do what he wanted but not with her.

Thona almost decided to go after her, to beat her up like he did many others. It wasn't worth it. He didn't want to, plus there was a pride close by, he figured. She reeked of other animals, after all. He flicked his long tail and decided he'd beat up someone else in her stead, even if they didn't deserve it, he didn't care. Wasn't his problem, after all. He just needed to take it out on something.
