With the Trial of Famine over, there wasn't anything Mitzi wanted more than to head home and get some sleep. It had been a long, tiring, and stressful day. She had been surprised how well her team pulled together, though, given that they had just met at the sign-ups and hadn't really talked since.

She had just pushed herself to her feet when Whisper suggested that they all take a souvenir. The Reaper ghoul looked around for anything that might make a good momento, but at first all she saw was the coconut, and Mr. Starfish, and Rain had definitely claimed him.

Then she saw the two halves of the sand dollar, buried in the sand. It was something that related to all of them. As the rest of her team started to head back to the portal, she reached down and scooped them up, before running after the other ghouls.

Once they were back on school grounds, but before they could split up, she called over her teammates. "Hey, ghouls. I was thinking about Whisper's suggestion that we take a souvenir from the trials... how about this?" She held up the broken pieces of the sand dollar, and then further broke it along the holes so that each of Rain's drawings was on a separate piece, and then she showed how they still fit back together. "We're all individuals, but we're also all part of a whole. And we do work really well together!"

The sand.... it was everywhere. In her hair, stuck to her wings, and somehow even down the front of her top, though how that was even possible Imryn didn't know, seeing as it was made out of shadowy material that fit rather well. "Frustrating stuff... it's going to take me days to get it all cleaned up." she grumbled to herself as they headed towards the portal. Taking a keepsake really wasn't high on her list of things to do right now... not to mention that there didn't seem to be much left that would keep besides a few small shells. And with her claws, struggling to carry them back was only going to irritate her more.

Once they were back on school grounds though Imryn was happily thinking about going to take a bath when she heard Mitzi calling out to them, pausing for a moment. Normally she wouldn't give reapers the time of day, but this one had been ok so far and they still had another Trial to work through together. So she stopped and floated back over towards her, peering curiously over at the pieces of the sand dollar. "Huh... that is kinda neat. You could take some tiny string and put it through the little holes too so it won't get lost as easily."

She paused for a moment though when Whisper mentioned that it could have been worse. For her, the only other thing she'd seen so far was the Maul incident earlier... she was almost scared to ask what else had been happening. "... I almost don't want to know how much worse it could have been. But compared to things that come alive and try to kill you in the Maul, this wasn't too bad so far."

Mitzi couldn't help but feel a swell of pride for her team, and a little sheepish embarrassment that they had all taken so well to her idea. She grinned back at them all, their response making her day all bright again. "If the rest of the Trials are like this, we'll have no problem getting through them." And she nodded to the ghost ghoul. "That's a good idea. We can wear them for the rest of the Trials!" After that, though, Mitzi knew exactly where she was going to put it. The bulletin board above her desk was still looking so sparse, with nothing much for her to put on it. But the picture of the five of them and their castle, and the piece of shell, would both be going up there where she could look at them every day.

"Well ghouls, I'll see you all at the next Trial then!" She waved to them, before starting to push her way through the crowd towards the Reaper dorm.
