Aleister was moving quickly looking for the room he was suppose to be in. He was slightly worried that Caelius would be mad if he signed into minipet duty late. He paused in the life wing when he noticed a certain door. He paused, "This must be it."
The death trainee slipped into the room and looked around spotting Candace. "Uh... hi?" He glanced at the walls lined with.... glass cages. He almost felt like he was in a pet shop. But there were really weird creatures behind the glass. The blonde trainee was a bit over whelmed.

Candace had learned something. Each minipet actually had a personality, and certain types tended to have certain habits. She'd been playing her music loudly one day and a tank of cats had perked up and started dancing. They all had cute little party hats on their heads...so she decided to experiment. Candace had left and come back with a small speaker for her iPod, plugged it in and let the music play. It had been ten minutes now and the cats were still dancing. They were very happy. When someone greeted her she looked up from the dancing cats to see who had arrived now. Oh! Uh...s**t! She didn't remember his name but...damnit! "Hey there!" Just stay friendly. Maybe he'd introduce himself anyway. Haaaaaa. "What's up? You look nervous." Was it the minipets? What? Was he scared of them? Sure, some of them were rather terrifying but the rest were kinda cute! Like these cats!

Aleister moved closer to Candace, "Huh?" He paused for a second when she said he looked nervous. "Oh... uh yeah... Heh not really use to.... er...." He paused an pointed at the 'animals'.
"Minipets?" That was what the thing had said right? "Anyways..." There was a small pause, did he even remember her name? "Uh.... you use to be an Epsilon right?" He remembered something at least, hopefully.
The death trainee was scratching the back of his head looking at the cats she was working with. They almost looked like normal cats... expect for the eyes, and the hats. "So, what are you doing with these guys?"

That was understandable. Some of them were pretty strange, especially the aggressive ones, so she couldn't blame him. "Mm, yes. The monsters and creatures of Halloween keep them as pets like the family dog or cat, you know? They can get pretty strange." The party cats were still dancing, a ghostly one whose form faded in and out of visibility had joined in as well. They were very happy. She chuckled. "Yeah, Epsilon Ten. It's been almost a year though..I should let go of that claim to fame soon." She had done well during her test but she was doing better when it mattered as Candace. She should really let go of Epsilon Ten and just enjoy the credit she was getting with her true identity, not some gas-masked golem.
When asked what she was up to she smiled and gestured to the ipod sitting on a nearby table. "I had my music blasting from my headphones as I was feeding these guys and they started dancing. So I figured I'd experiment...they dance to the music. It's pretty sure. The sign says they're 'party cats' so it makes sense..it's kinda cute!" Maybe if he spent time with the cuter pets he wouldn't be so uncomfortable. Just ignore the tank that says 'Veggies' or 'Follyjox' or...the anglocoptors.

"I'm Aleister, I was Epsilon Seven." He said offering to reintroduce himself since it wasn't as chaotic as the hallway had been when his batch had woken.
"Oh? What kinds of music have you played for them?" He asked watching them curiously. Since Candace seemed to know a bit about these pets. He nodded, "They are cute, not quite as scary as some of those monsters that've attacked us."
He paused, "Are they safe to take out?" He asked curiously.

"Ohhhh, good, good. Not one I killed, right?" She chuckled, looking down at the cats as they seemed to be staring at her as they danced. One of them nudged against the glass, pawing at it and meowing at her. Eh? She swayed a little, able to hear the party cat purr. Ohhh! It wanted her dancing, too? Okay! She could do that! She grinned and started to do a simple little dance in place, enough to appease the needy party cats. "I played a musical earlier, this kind is dubstep. It doesn't seem to matter what it is as long as it has a beat you can move to. Their dancing does match the song, though." She giggled. "Some of them are very cute, yes." But not all of them.
When he asked if they were safe to take out she smile and nodded, reaching in to pick up one of the cats. It meowed unhappily at being picked up until it was put down on the floor. It stopped, stared..and somehow magically had a noisemaker in its mouth the next second. "Yeah, it's safe." She checked her hiPhone and set the timer on it. "But only for an hour a day. Go ahead, take one."

Aleister chuckled, "I think... I was in the room when that happened." He paused attempting to remember, "But doesn't matter, it's just nice to know someone else on the island from the trials."
He watched as she started dancing too after the cats were pawing at the glass. "Interesting." He nodded, "Well they must be talented creatures then, if they can keep up with the beats."
He nodded and moved towards the glass case looking to see which cat he thought would be least likely to claw him to death... if they even had claws and picked it up. It hissed at him and he flinched while hurrying to sit it down. He chuckled nervously. "Aha.... I uhh... guess they don't like being picked up..." Eventually, he sat down on the floor near the party cats. He took a minute to think before tapping a beat out on the floor to see what they'd do.

Ah, so he was in the room but didn't get killed by her. That was fine. She was just glad he was letting the trial go. Candace smiled. "Good, I'm glad. There're still some people who hold grudges from the trials," Like Leon, apparently. It had come out so explosively and sudden. "We were told to survive, and we did. That's all that matters in the end..." She didn't even know who killed her. She didn't really care enough.
He had a point! The cats were certainly talented. Though being 'party cats' it could have easily been something ingrained into their very being. Did someone fear parties? Though perhaps minipets worked differently considering...well...most of these minipets were absolutely adorable.
A look was given to the vaisel kittens from last time. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Socute!
The party cats stared expectantly at the blonde boy until he tapped on the floor, prancing and wiggling their rumps. It wasn't exactly a party but he was learning.
This boy could be trained.
"So is this your first minipet duty?" Candace asked with a smile as she sat down across from Aleister, giving one of the party cats a scritch between its shoulders. The cat purred and arched its back, happily accepting the petting.

Aleister smiled, "Eh what's the point in holding grudges? We're obviously alive." He wasn't bothered by it, as he nodded in agreement that they were told to survive. "I probably didn't do much in the first place. I mean... I felt a little weird having to shoot at people and what not." There was a frown for a moment but he soon forgot about it as he watched the party cats.
As he tapped on the floor he watched them start to prance and wiggle their rumps to the beat. He seemed to be enjoying himself. "Yes, I probably should've taken time to get duties like this sooner but I've been trying to do a little bit of studying too. I feel like I'm a little behind everyone else."
He admitted this a little sheepishly. "I'd hate for Caelius to catch me sleeping on the job. No tellings what he'd do to someone that wasn't prepared." He'd been caught by Stacey once being unprepared when he went on the mission with Petra, he couldn't let Caelius find out. He watched as one of the party cats nuzzled into his leg for a second before continuing to dance to the beat.
