The Suko Twins walked to the park from their school and stopped at the entrance of the park. Shella had her arm around Kuro's arm and looked around. Kuro then enter the park without Shella knowing and kinda dragged her in. "Hey! KURO!!", Shella yelled out to Kuro as she hates getting dragged but like dragging Kuro because he doesn't do anything. "What? Don't just drag me... I hate it when you do that..", Shella told him as she pouted, Kuro smiled and hugged his sister, "I'm sorry. I won't do that again, okay?", Kuro said as he looked at Shella's face. Shella looked at her brother and smiled back and nodded, they contiuned walking as Shella removed her arm out of Kuro's arm and walked to the swing and sat down, moving herself back and forth a little bit.

KimmyKim stopped running as she was a bit tired and sat down on the floor and rest. As Kimmy stopped, Ushio stopped as well and walked to her sister, "You okay, Kimmy?", Ushio ask as she bend down, "Yeah I'm okay. I just can't run that much...", Kimmy replied to her and got up. Ushio watched as Kimmy got up and then stood up, too. The two then contiuned to walk their way into the park as it was also a dog park.

James Young

James sat at a relatively empty corner of the park, which was the corner in which people could sit down and play games of chess, as well as a few other strategy games. James was sitting at a chesstable near the far left with a perfect view of the portion of the park where children would play. Since James was sitting by himself, having no opponents who he deemed worthy adversaries, and he just looked up at the children who were happily playing. James watched the happy children with an emotionless stare which still had a look which said "I'm better than you". He had such disdain for these children who were playing happily because he knew that in a few years, their happy faces would be replaced with pathetic expressions of misery and despair. According to James, anyone who thinks that they will be able to make a choice which will make them happier is a fool. Scoffing at the kids, he looked down at the chessboard, with the pieces set up for a game.

While nobody was looking, James used his telekinesis to move the white pieces at the other end of the board. However, instead of playing as white the way that he would normally play, he instead played in the style of the last person who had offered to play a game with him. James had already looked over the man's style of playing, and played with the exact same moves that his would-be opponent would have used. However, while moving black, James played exactly how he would play. He amused himself in this manner as he waited for another actual person to play against.

Eventually, James ended his game against himself, and looked back up at the childrens' section of the park. Despite his grim outlook on humanity, he still kind of felt a hint of joy. This is because despite James's ideas about humanity killing himself, he almost wished that he could feel as happy as the ignorant children, even for a single time, a fleeting moment. His attention was drawn to two high schoolers, a boy and a girl, who stood out among the crowd of children. The girl appeared rather energetic and cheerful, while the boy seemed to be more serious. The girl walked over to a swing and sat down. James looked at them as if they were an insect under his shoe. In James's mind, the teenagers were a part of the reason why humanity was killing itself. He looked down at the chessboard, remaining silent.

Shella & Kuro

Shella stopped swinging herself on the swing and got up. She stretched out first and looked for a nearby bench for her to place her bag at, "... No nearby bench...", she whispered to herself and shrugged as she removed her bag and placed it against the pole. Kuro walked to the side of the sidewalk and sat down on the floor and watches his sister going back to the swing. He then looked up the light blue sky and watches as the white fluffy clouds moves slowly across the sky, "... I wonder... Is mom and dad watching us...?", Kuro thought as it is about two to three years as their parents died, and dearly misses them. Kuro then looked down and stood up and walks behind Shella as she sits quietly on the swing. He then started pushing her on the swing as he startled Shella. "Kuro...", Shella turned her head to the side and facing Kuro, he didn't say anything but smiled at Shella and contiuned pushing her. Shella then smiled back at Kuro and enjoys as he pushes her.

Ushio and Kimmy finally reached the park as Ushio smiled and spun around and then walked to the swings. As the two walked to the swings they spotted Shella and Kuro. "Shella and Kuro's here, Kimmy!", Ushio said as she pointed at them, Kimmy nodded and walked next to Ushio and put her hand down, "Don't point, Ushio. I see them, too.", Kimmy said with a smile. Ushio just smiled and nodded, she then ran up to Shella and Kuro as she jumps onto Kuro's back, "COUSIN KURO!! Hehe~", Ushio smiled at Kuro as he turned his head to the left and saw Ushio, "Ushio.. Heh.", Kuro then picked up Ushio and put her down on the floor, "Hello Kuro, Shella.", Kimmy said as she walks a few more steps to them. Shella got up the swings and walked up to Ushio and Kimmy and hugged both of them, "Hehe~ what are you two doing here?", Shella asked them as she kissed them on the forehead, "We want to go to the park today.", said Ushio, "Also Mom thought we might ran into you two so we could go home all together", Kimmy added. Kuro then sat on the swing and laughed, "Of course, your mom will think that haha. We always come here after school and we always meet up.", Kuro said as he messes with Kimmy's hair. Kimmy tried to move Kuro's hand off her head and stop messing with her hair, "Hehe~ yeah. And stop messing with my hair!", Kimmy said and fixes her hair. The four started to play around as Ushio and Shella played on the swings seeing who gets higher and as the other two, Kimmy and Kuro, started to play chess on one of the other boards.

James Young

James didn't notice the two kids playing chess nearby, or more accurately, he didn't care. What they did was of no consequence to him. He continued to use his telekinesis to play a chess game with himself, using his own tactics for both sides. He became completely absorbed in his own game of chess. Despite himself being the only player, he found this method of playing to be much more fun than playing against most other people. Eventually, he stopped moving pieces, and sat there, staring at the board, as if pondering an incredibly important question.

The Suko Twins
Shella & Kuro

While playing chess for a while, the day was starting to set and getting dark. Parents called for their children to head home before it turns completely dark, as the four cousins didn't notice the day was setting. Kuro and Kimmy was up to their game as Shella and Ushio notice the sun setting down. They got off the swing set and walked to Kuro and Kimmy as Shella grabbed both her bag and Kuro's bag. "Hey you two?", Shella said trying to get the two's attention, "We should get home the sun is setting and we might get in trouble if we're out this late..", she added holding Ushio's hand.

Kuro and Kimmy snapped out of their game and looked at the sky. "You're right... We don't want mom to worry about us..", Kimmy said as she got up but first moved her king getting the last piece of Kuro's, "Check... mate", Kimmy laughed and looked at Kuro's face.

Kuro's eyes widen as he saw he lost from Kimmy. ".... What...? H-how did...", stopped and looked closely trying to figure out then glared at Kimmy, "Not... cool...", he said as he got up from the sit and started to walked out the park with Shella, Ushio, Kimmy. "Hey Kim. Let's do a rematch when we get home..", he said to her. Kim turned back and nodded, "Bet I'm going to win... Again hehe~."

Pinkie casually walked into the park, looking down and watching the rocks pass her. How long had it been since she had left the house? A week? Maybe more. She had lost count after the fifth day. It was all because of her mothers protectiveness. And even now Pinkie had managed to escape through her window. Her mother was asleep. Thankfully. But Pinkie couldn't help but feel a ping of guilt. Her mother was only worried about her, what was she herself supposed to do? After a while of pinkie battling her own thoughts, she sighed, and walked over to an empty swing set in the side of the Park that wasn't so heavily populated.

Did she want to play with the other children? Yep. Of course she did. Did they want to play with her? Probably not. And she didn't really understand why. Her green hair? Shortness? She was 12 after all, and still 3"11. I mean, that was pathetic. Pinkie was a midget.

When Pinkie arrived at the swing set, she actually stared at it instead of sitting on it. It had been years since she was on one of these. Did she remember how to work them? Pffft, of course she did, she wasn't that forgetful. After a stare-off with the swing, Pinkie took her chances and turned around to sit on it. Cursing her shortness, she had to jump up to get her butt to reach it. Ooh, bad idea. Her body went straight through it, falling onto the wood chips below. Pinkie's eyes widened and she covered her mouth to not let out a squeak of surprise. Even though Pinkie had had a good mastering of her powers, there were times where she would unconsciously use them, a time like now.

Sighing, Pinkie tried once more, getting up and sitting on the swing set. Her butt did not go through.....thankfully. But there was one problem. Her feet wouldn't touch the floor of the wood chips. Normally, that's what's supposed to happen. But oh no, little midget Pinkie wasn't able to do that. She sighed, blowing a piece of hair out of her eyes and she started pumping her legs, the swing slowly moving. Her eyes wandered to a part of the park right next to her where you were able to play chess.

James Young

James noticed that he was the only one left in the area of the park where people would play chess. Without being distracted from his game with himself, James used a telekinetic program to reset the pieces on every one of the chessboards in the park. It was a very simple task, since he had practiced by coming to the park every single day, and setting the chess pieces up on the boards again. Since there was nobody left to play chess with, and the park was virtually empty, he figured he'd leave after he finished his game with himself. He ceased playing, deciding that it was a draw, then reset the pieces on the board using telekinesis while he walkd away. As he passed through the park with the swings and where there were children playing not long ago, and noticed that there was only one other person present in the entire park. There was a little girl on the swings, who appeared both physically and mentally younger than the children who were in the park earlier. She was also alone, with no parents. That's how it is for some people, James thought as he began to walk past the girl on the swings.

Pinkie was too absorbed in her thoughts as the boy walked past her, and she looked up to take a glance at him. He looked about in his teens, and he was alone, just like her. Pinkie looked up at the sky and saw it was getting dark. Pinkie sighed and tried to stop the swing, but since her feet couldnt touch the floor, she couldn't stop. After minutes of struggling, pinkie just up and jumped off effortlessly. The wind blew forcing many wood chips to blow away.

Most children would be afraid to walk home at this hour. Of course Pinkie wasnt. I wonder if a man will try to carry me away like last time.... Pinkie thought, passing the boy as she headed for the entrance to the park. People watched Pinkie, and she knew. Her outer appearance was bound to attract people who wanted to judge her. She knew that they were probably thinking what a child would be doing late at night alone. But Pinkie ignored the stares and whispers like always. She was used to this. "Maybe i'll get kidnapped like last time.....that would be a little fun." Pinkie mumbled softly, a small childish smile spread on her face. It was gentle and genuine. She stretched, little cracks audible to those who were close enough.

She thought she would hang around a bit more, waiting until the very last person left. Knowing this, Pinkie walked over to a small bench where the entry to the park was and sat on it, humming casually.

James Young

James sat down on the bench next to the girl. "Yeah, right. I'd like to think I could go home, but I have no home to go to," James muttered to himself, thinking out loud. He leaned back in his seat, hoping that the girl who was also sitting tere would leave so that James could have more room.

Pinkie looked up at the boy, having heard what he said. "Pardon? If you don't have anywhere to go and no home, where do you stay? She asked innocently, her light green eyes focused on the stranger. Pinkie's voice was innocent and light, that of a small child about the age of 6. It was like cream and honey, and her green seaweed tinted hair lay flatly against her shoulders. Nowhere to go? That's so unfair....what could he have done to deserve no home? Pinkie scooted over a bit to allow the stranger some more room.

Pinkie knew she had a home to go to, a warm bed, and all the essentials she needed. But, in her home, she wasn't really wanted. Her mother gave her everything she wanted, and Pinkie accepted it and was grateful, but-- she still knew her mother didn't still accept her in the home. Mostly because Pinkie disappeared so long, her mother left her. Pinkie knew full well that wasn't her mom, just one of her relatives. But her so called, 'Mother' hadn't realized that Pinkie wasn't that stupid. Pinkie had taken notice of the actions her mother took towards her, and they weren't those filled with love. More like-- need.

Her mother was nice. But it was obviously fake. And Pinkie's mother would continue faking her nice-ness towards her until she pleased, until her so called 'Mama' disappeared. And Pinkie knew that she was bound to. Everyone she met disappeared. And she was used to it. It was the curse that came with her powers. The curse she accepted when she took that card.

James Young

"Hm?" James inquired, a bit surprised by the girl's remark to him, as he didn't believe that anyone would listen to what he was saying, nor that anyone would care about his remarks if they were listening. "Well, I don't really stay anywhere, since I can't afford a house," James replied to the girl's question, "But, that's to be expected, since I don't really have a job. What about you? What are you doing here? I can't believe that you've got no place to call home." James changed the subject, gesturing to the girl's clothes, which gave her away.

James then realized the look in the girl's eyes. It was one of sorrow, mixed with some regret and a look of bitterness that was extremely dark for a girl of her age. But James didn't think much of the nature of the girl's countenance, as he was familiar with negative emotions such as these. "Excuse me?" he said, getting the girl's attention, "I think you may have been drifting off. In any case, you should probably go home." James leaned back in a rather relaxed position on the park bench.

Pinkie shook her head furiously, pulling her legs up and hugging them. The small feat was easy because she was so flexible and small. "I'm not going to a place where i'm not wanted. Plus, there won't be anyone there to care for me, so i'm all alone anyway." She mumbled, looking down on the ground when a gentle smile appeared on her face, accompanied by a small giggle.

"My life has always been like this. Mama left a few months ago, and mama told me that papa killed himself because of me. I'm very used to people leaving me. I'm used to being alone!" Pinkie said this happily with no problem at all, and she looked at the stranger happily, a childish smile on her face. "If you wanna, you could always stay with me. My fake mama might have left me, but she wasn't heartless. I know she left more than enough essentials that i would be more than be willing to share. I have no home. As long as i'm alone like this, i don't believe i ever will. In any case, would you like to join me?" Pinkie asked cutely, jumping off of the bench and looking up at the boy, her small bangs partially covering her eyes. Pinkie held her small hand out to the boy, as a gesture that she was welcoming him.

"Whatever you may have done, whatever may have happened....Everyone deserves a second chance at something." As Pinkie talked, she said her words carefully, with the utter most of gumption. Her spunk and guts were outlawed with the frailness and highness of her childish voice, but her thoughts and actions were still not exiled. Pinkie's purity and chastity was clear, but that of all things she didn't mind. She would continue to live alone, and be happy about it. That was just who Pinkie was. She could never stand to be sad, mad, or even bored for too long, it just wasn't part of her charisma!

"All right, I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay with you for a bit," James accepted with a sigh, "Besides, you could probably use the company." He didn't plan to stay too long, as it was plain as day to James that this girl and he were vastly different. The girl seemed rather naive and kindhearted, whereas James had no hope left for humanity. But, since they were both alone, they could definitely benefit from a temporary alliance. "So, what's your name?" he asked the girl, leaning forward in his seat.
