- Please apply this mechanic PRIOR to running your obstacle course
- IT IS RAINING AND WINDY!
-RAIN EFFECT: Prior to choosing any obstacle course, roll a 10-sided dice. If you roll a 1, OR if you roll on a course that has already been taken you can continue on to choose a course. IF NOT, match your dice roll to the results below. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS COURSE
All participants must do this prior to their course:

2: Rock Climbing
3: Fire Cave
4: Snow Dash
5: Underground of Darkness
6: Water Lake
7: Long Grass Field
8: Jungle Course
9: Open Race Course
-WIND EFFECT: - The wind makes all the open courses difficult! If you are running Rock Climbing, Long Grass Field, Snow Dash, Jungle Course, or Open Race Course, you must roll a 10-sided dice before you start the course. If you roll 1 or 10, you are blown away before you can even start it! March 15th DAILY STATUS EFFECT MARCH 15, 2012. STUDENTS MAY NOW TRY AGAIN.The rain finally seems to stop, and so does the wind, but with the aftereffects some the fog, a stifling fog that is also warm and humid. It is both fogging and humid!
Fog Effect:
- If your training course requires you to roll a 100-sided dice, subtract 10 of your result every roll BEFORE comparing results
- If your training course requires you to roll a 12-sided dice subtract 1 of your result every roll
- If your training course requires you to take damage, you take x2 extra damage.
Humid Effect:
- It is TOO WARM. BONUS MECHANICS ARE NOT WORKING (at all).
March 16th DAILY STATUS EFFECT MARCH 16, 2012. STUDENTS MAY NOW TRY AGAIN, THIS IS THE LAST DAY.It is HAILING AND SNOWING!
Snow:
- ICE ROAD RUNNER, SNOW DASH, and THE WATER LAKE all now grant one extra save (unless you run out of HP, in which case its GAME OVER)
Hail:
- Ouch! You must now calculate HP DAMAGE while completing every course. Every time you roll a turn, you take -5 damage (taken from your student's total HP amount fully recovered). If you hit 0 HP, your student dissipates with however many flags they recovered! YOU MUST CALCULATE YOUR STUDENT'S HP EVERY TURN, if there is a course that uses HP, the DAMAGE STACKS WITH THIS ONE.

Another day, another outing. Another trial. Shehk sighed a bit as the wind and rain buffeted about, zipping up her coat and pulling the hood up over her head with a small frown. Man, she was really enjoying getting an opportunity to dress properly for physical outings.
Then again, she just dragged a dufflebag along with her with clothing alternatives in it just to be safe during these trials. She seemed relaxed enough, however, as she listened to the explanation about how much time they had to work things in.
"Well, looks like we'd better get going on these courses." she sighed as she dumped her bag down into their teams HQ where they'd be leaving their flags between rounds and instead picking up the backpack that had been assigned for her. There was a moment where she and the Lepus Guide in her care gave each other a long stare - perhaps she was debating eating it - but once the moment was over, she put the bag over her shoulder and motioned off towards the Jungle Course.
"I'll be going now!" she bid with a wave.

Jungle Course
Shehk began to stalk into the trees and greenery of the forest when something red caught her eyes. Red? She knew red. Red was Jerich- Oh, that was Harry! Shehk hadn't seen Harry in the few days since their Trial with Famine, but it looked like he had a friend with him.
A friend with big teeth.
Shehk made a point to keep her feet and hands away from those big teeth, which ultimately served her good purpose as she continued along through her search - only to spot something else moving in the greenery - something that smelled delicious.
A human! She knew what to do with humans. Reaching out carefully, she rustled the greenery suddenly and eerily, causing the human to startle and run along on their way. She grinned. "Yeeessss..." she preened, feeling mightier than before as she headed along on her way to actually brave the trials of the forest.

Jungle Course
Shehk seemed to move safely into the greenery, stepping carefully even as rain and wind seemed to buffet about around her. It was almost like going though Invictus's trial, only with less snapping twigs and glowing sentries. Yet at the moment she thought of it, something rustled under foot and she heard something moving towards her from the left.
Her ears perked up and she immediately moved away from it, spotting the flag as she fled from the noise, grabbing it up and tucking it into her bag with the Lepus Guide as she moved.
"Did you know- you should probably keep running?"
"Yep" Shehk confirmed as she continued her run, one flag heavier.

"Yes! I know!" Shehk tried to not sound snappy, but it seemed the warnings she was being given were sadly not working out for her as her shoes lost their traction and she went sliding - right off of the bridge and down the ravine that followed, hitting several painful pitfalls on the way down.
Ouch.

Siddie had dressed for physical activity today: a blouse with three-quarter sleeves gathered to the elbows, long bloomers, a short, loose skirt, and boots with two-inch heels. As in the trial of Famine, she'd left her minis in her room; she was, however, secretly pleased that there would be a Lepus Guide accompanying her on the course she had to run. The wind and rain were a pain, though.
She shrugged her Lepus Guide's backpack onto her shoulders and picked a course without really looking at the sign she'd gotten. "Good luck," she told the others. "I'll try hard!"

Lucien let out a bit of a huff as dropped his backpack on the ground, a strange mix of happiness and scorn pasted onto his face as each footstep made a horrid sound. He loved the wind and the rain so much because it reminded him fondly of his home but no pleasure was without pain and once again his feet had the unbearable misfortune of stepping on the filthy ground. He hadn't the good sense to think of this before hand, and the entire way to his team his backpack and the Lepus Guide inside thought it would be helpful and tell Lucien the following phrase over and over again. At first Lucien hadn't heard it very well but the more the Lepus Guide said it, the clearer and more irritating it got.

He'd show them, he didn't need a guide! Of course, he really did need a guide and had he had the guide he might not have run right into the Underground of Darkness course.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESSThe moment Lucien had stepped into the course, it had suddenly got a lot less wet. The silence began to set in and Lucien soon realized that something was blocking his only exit. Just what was this? It was so dark and he could only see thanks to the fact he was practically a glow in the dark lantern. He let off a small glow thanks to his race, and for that he was happy. Hey, it wasn't that bad! Although he had been looking forward to spending some time in the wind and rain, at least it wasn't completely dark and at least it was qui--
Did you know... you left me back there?
Lucien tripped and fell at the sudden reappearance of the Lepus Guide, completely shocked not only because it had been all the way back there but also because there was now something blocking the exit! It came back... just how did it get back? He pondered this curiously as he suddenly realized had the Lepus Guide not appeared back when it did, he would have walked right... over... and... He shot a look back to the bag, standing up carefully and then picking it up. He owed it one, and only one. The moment it said something else... he was dropping it again.

THE CAVE OF DARKNESSLucien was ready to go! He took a deep breath, looking around him even though he could barely see his surroundings and then he took a step. Everything seemed okay and even the Lepus Guide seemed to be behaving. Perhaps the worst of things were behind him? Yeah, that's exactly where they were. However, Lucien's feet weren't quite used to footing his steps and when his distraction was swayed momentarily by the Lepus Guide inside the backpack and his consideration to drop it, he slipped.
Did you know... you're falling?
He swore it said out of spite. Lucien was falling backwards and suddenly his worst fear had come to realization. It edged over him slowly and then suddenly like an overflowing basin. He was falling and he had no power to stop it. Tears began to swell in his eyes and panic covered his dimly lit face in the underground that was otherwise dark. There... was... nothing... he could... do... but there was something he could say. He screamed.
"Israaaaaaaafeeeeeeeel!"
It echoed all throughout the cave and throughout Lucien's ears as he hit a net and then was instantly dragged down to the spiked floor below.

The path to the obstacle course was narrow and uneven, the footing not particularly secure and the wind made the going uncomfortably uncertain. Siddie stumbled twice, nearly tipped over by the stinging gusts, but she righted herself somehow, and reached thebottom of the cliff.
She looked up at the course. It looked very tall and very sheer. Oh dear. Why had she chosen this again?

Israfel was SO EXCITED. After the last trial, he'd been so giddy. He'd not only got to spend time with his friend but with Lucien as well! Which was to him, the best thing about the whole event. Sure he'd been attacked by Panty crabs. And tentacles. And Harry had kind of ditched them for a short while but he'd come back and saved the day! Ponies and all! Speaking of ponies, it was now time for WAR PONIES! Which was the pretty red horselady that was Invictus's...lady. One of them anyway. He was many enough for all of them after all.
Thought muddled, the backpack he'd been given came with a lepus. This was the best trial he'd faced, (not that he had much to compare it too). "Hello." He looked at his lepus guide with a grin.
"Did you know that this trial is very dangerous?" Israfel might have giggled. "Yes! very! That is why I have you!"
"Did you know that flying is not an option?"
"REALLY? Well... I guess I'll have to walk but that is okay. Walking is good for my feet!"
"Did you know that your shoes are not is season?"
"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The siren knew that but would rather other's didn't. "Our secret." Smiling he shoved the lepus back into the bag.
The other had gone ahead of him and well- Ohhhhh a lake!
The siren seemed to know where he was going.
"Did you know that lakes are not home to sirens?"
"Really?" He actually had no idea.

THE WATER LAKE
As the siren reached the lake the peir was waiting. "Did you that you wiegh-" "HOW RUDE!" The siren gave the lepus a bap on the head. "I don't know how much a weight but- you don't just tell people you know? It's like... telling someone they're fat but not." Smiling and patting the lepus on it's head he paused. "....That backpack... must not be comfortable." Sighing, Israfel looked at what he had which was... not much. "Hrm."
"Did you know that minipets are sooned on moonday?" A horrified gash came from Israfel." "NO way!" The lepus guide only nodded. "Did you know that foxfire fur is harvested year round?" Israfel shook his head. "Did you know that we are waiting time?"
A pause, some blank staring. "OH RIGHT!" Picking up the lepus and setting him on his head, the siren began to skip his was down, almost tripping on the flimsy wood.
"Did you know that wood can make minipets?"
He didn't know that either! The lepus was very smart. Israfel was sure he had the smartest lepus.

THE WATER LAKE
Sadly, Israfel's demeanor didn't last long as when he jumped up- "Did you know that flying low can cause mold?" Caught in vines his wings were now stuck in the thick ropes. Not good not good at all. "Did you know ninja pumpkins grow in this area?"
"Did you know that vines sometimes create mold?"
"Did you know that you aren't wearing any protection charms?"
Suddenly the siren REALLY wanted out of the vines. At the very least, his lepus was teaching him all sorts of new things. Such a smart lepus.

Today Sammy was pulling a minimal, no jacket, and her top was a skin tight athletic shirt. Her only usual clothing was the series of dog tags wound tight around her neck, cargo pants, and combat boots. A little rain wouldn't slow her down like this, the cold barely registered other then when a boot sank into the mud.
"Well this should be interesting." She stood back watching the others take the pick of courses. Her duffle bag of back up clothes was stashed with other belongings in the HQ as she waved goodbye to the others. Shehk looked adorable stuffed in her little coat. Siddie, well, Siddie was always dressed up, rain nor sleet sun or shine would stop that Ghoul from having some kind of flair to her outfit.
Luicen on the other hand seemed... stressed. She barely had a chance to wave before the boil was off running. She event went to grab his Lepus bag when it suddenly vanished with a faint fwoof.
"Did you know if you leave us behind we'll teleport back to your side?"
Sammy blinked turning to the last bag where a Lepus stood arms crossed a small wood pipe tucked between his lips.
"Did you know you can call me Vitter?"
Well. It seemed she wouldn't be all alone for the task. "Alright Vitter, hop in that bag, lets see where we head to for the course alright?" She moved over opening the bag allowing the Lepus to climb in at his own pace, by the time she looked up the rest of the team was gone, the last she saw was Israfel chatting with his own Lepus heading towards a lake.
"Best get going ourselves..."
Adjusting Vitta's bag, she started off towards the Ice Roads, the wind and rain shouldn't be a problem inside a cave after all, though she would probably catch a hell of a frostbite after being out in the rain. Nothing Cricket couldn't fix though right?

Ice Road Runner
They stood at the edge of the open tunnel, the cave like entrance leading down the Ice Road. Here the rain had turned to a heavy snow, it seemed what ever made this tunnel the Ice Road Runner course was chilling the air outside even.
"Jack damn.... I didn't think something could be this cold outside the front door." Something squirmed behind her as Vitter rested an elbow on her shoulder puffing his pipe. "Did you know that this tunnel has always been frozen year round?"
"Honestly Vitter, no. Though I guess that doesn't really help it's interesting to know."
Slowly she moved into the cave, the sound of the wind howling outside dying down and the instant drop in temperature went to work freezing drops of water on her hair and skin. Where one wind ended though, another began as the tunnel funneled wind from the other side pushing her back.
"M-Maybe not my best idea of a first course pick..." she muttered as her boots crunched through the snow. Everything seemed to be going fine for the most part, the cave was dim unlike the beech and her eyes happily flared up to see deeper into the-
WHTHUMP!
Before she could get much deeper, the light of the entrance still behind her a snowball seemed to leap from a side cave nailing her in the face. "WHO THREW THAT!?" Without missing a beat Sammy leaped towards the side tunnel the offending snowball struck from.
"Did you know, this might be a trap?"
"Can it Vitter, I'm finding who did that!"
