Once more Ammon found himself wandering aimlessly through the rogue lands. His plan of finding his sister had clearly blown up in his face and it had caused him to feel rather dull. Sure he wasn't a good tracker in the least, but at least that had never stopped him from trying? Wistfully the young male lion sighed. The sky above was dark and he could feel little raindrops beginning to pour from the sky. He was sure the creatures that resided here were ecstatic that there would be rain, but the bad thing about rain was that it washed away scents.
"Now I will have to start all over again." Ammon said, slightly frustrated. This had sadly not been the first time something like this had happened to him. He hoped that the Gods, if there, would just give him some sort of tip or sign that he was on the way to finding his sister again. Sadly for him they had kept quiet.
Turning his attention now to a small den in the rock face, he could clearly smell that there was no recent scent. Which meant this lucky guy was going to be able to sleep out of the rain. He couldn't help but grin a little. Finally something was going right. Maybe this was the sign for him not to give up, that the tides were changing? Or just further proof that this male was lucky. Either way he happily strode into the den and began smoothing it's floor so that he could sleep without fear of being impaled by a rock. He shuddered. "That would not be a pleasurable experience." Ammon said to himself as he kicked the last few rocks out and then settled into the back wall. It certainly was a huge den. Quite the find if he said so himself. Smiling the lion closed his eyes, though not sleeping, daydreaming about the luxury of this den and all the things he could do with it.
