I've been thinking about this lately..
I have met some amazing people on Gaia, and have a really
close bond with some of them.
I plan on meeting some of them in person one day,
and I was wondering.
Have any of you met someone on Gaia, then met them in real life?
Hope to meet my friends someday soon razz

I have met one girl who now lives a couple hours away, she doesn't come on Gaia much anymore...we chat more on Google/text/whatev lol.
I am planning on meeting another one as soon as i can organise my way over the New Zealand to meet him. I have some close friends that i met on here that live in the US that i am hoping to go visit within the next few years.
I would be hesitant to meet a stranger but i have spoken to these guys extensively over the last few years on Gaia/FB/skype/phone/text/snailmail, but you still have to be cautious xP

no, but ive added a few as friends on facebook because we talk to each other nearly everyday. i woul;d love to meet them in person but we all seem to live in different parts of the country. one friend moved to my state recently but is still a few hours away. but she is close enough where if we wanted we could go to the same reptile expo so maybe if she and i plan on getting any new herps we will meetup

I've met lots of friends from Gaia, including my girlfriend, her Dom and partner, my former Dom and others.

Yes, and no. I've had my friends in real life join Gaia! So I guess that kinda counts.. Not really? Either way, its nice ^_^

My friend was the one that 'forced' me to join....... now I'm trying to get other people to join xd
I knew all of them before Gaia
I did go to a Gaia panel at AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) but I only went with people I already knew. And I didn't ask anyone. maybe someday..... but I'm paranoid about it.
Also, one of the things I love is the anonymity of Gaia

From Gaia..No, but from other games yes, only 1 person. But, we dont talk much. Anyways, i am going to Florida to live from August to December. I will like to meet some gaia friends =/

I have met 2 people from GAIA in real life.
The first one was my friend Ricky from Avatar Talk. We struck up a conversation roughly 1-2 weeks before A-Kon last summer and well, ended up hanging about the convention. Great times.
Second person is the girlfriend. And you guys probably know how that went.

And you guys probably know how that went. you are actually the second gaian i met in real life outside of high school (though i wonder what username Chex - a classmate of mine - used and if she's still active). The first being my ex.

I have a few real life friends on gaia, and I've met one of my Myspace friends who followed me to gaia, in person.
I will be going to Dragon con this year and meeting 2 other strictly gaia friends in person at the con.
