Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Zinnia stepped up onto the trainer's platform and smiled at the sight of the grass field. She brushed the bangs out of her face and felt the cool breeze brought on by the fans in the stadium. The grass field... Definitely one of her favorites, since she luckily wasn't allergic to pollen! This was one of the fields that she wished she could lie down on. Unfortunately, the peacefulness wouldn't last long. It was time to battle!
"Shadow, I'll let you fight this time," she said, lifting a master ball from her belt. She tossed it lightly into the air and the ball burst open, revealing the black mew.
Shadow floated into position, her sharp purple eyes taking in the scenery. With no obstacles to get in the way, she hoped that this fight would be a rather straightforward one.

Zephar strolled into the stadium head held high, Clyde trailing right behind him. He was not in uniform. Seeing the flat stage a small grin fell upon his face. This was their first battle at the arena and it seemed that they had gotten quite an easy stage. The male had heard of fairly difficult stages in this place and was glad that they were on an easy one for their first battle. "Alright Clyde, ready for this." he knew the answer.
The Blitzle was quite the stubborn fool, never giving up even when they were being pursued for stealing things. Which was something the two did often. They had gotten out of some sticky situations because of his pokemon's stubbornness which surpassed his own. He knew Clyde wouldn't like it if they lost so he'd have to come up with some sort of strategy. That or Clyde just might take the battle upon himself. Which had happened in previous battles. If he wasn't quick enough to give commands the Blitzle would start with out him.Renekai So Sorry. i totally forgot about this battle ;><

He was lost in his thoughts and before Zephar could even give a command to his blitzle, Clyde had already started. With a small sigh he let the stubborn pokemon proceed. There they go again..
Clyde had already started to charge up his attack, little sparks jumping around and about his body. He was determined to win this fight quickly.

Shadow's eyes glowed bright purple momentarily, concentrating until the ground beneath Clyde's feet began to break apart. For now the attack was harmless, but it would lower his defense.

Knowing how hard headed his pokemon was, he knew that he would attack with electrical attacks without making much thought to it. However Zephar knew that Clyde knew one move that was psychic's weakness. "Pursuit Clyde!" Hoping he would comply
After regaining his footing the Blitzle charged at his opponent, aiming to ram his body into it.

Shadow stumbled back from the strength of the little zebra's strike, but her eyes flashed once more, causing the ground where Clyde was about to land to burst apart, revealing jagged edges and treacherous footing.

Before he could tell Clyde to dodge the blitzle was already hit by the earth power. He knew the hardheaded pokemon would want revenge from the hit and he doubted it would listen this time.
Seeing that Pursuit had worked the first time the pokemon decided to try it once again. Fully charging at his opponent the pokemon aimed once more to ram itself into the mew.

Shadow shook off the pain of the Pursuit attack before soaring lower, to stare at Clyde face-to-face. She fluttered her eyelashes coyly before flipping over in the air, making sure to brush the tip of her long tail against the blitzle's face before flying back to a safe distance. She felt very silly the whole time.

Shadow winced from the powerful dark-type attack. She drew her paws in front of her, and a bright blue orb formed. She aimed carefully and sent the freezing beam down at the blitzle.

Nimble upon his hooves the Biltzle dodged the freezing affects of the beam of ice which had been sent at him. Turning around he changed once more using Pursuit.
