 Sarvara had been wandering aimlessly most of the evening hours. Having run into her mother a few days ago did nothing to ease her troubled mind - nor helped her feel any more a part of something. The constant arguing of Hidari and Migi has faded to a constant into a static-like white noise in her mind, and she was focusing very hard to try and think.
She despised being such a misfit - most Soquili mistook her for a skinwalker or other creature just as foal and wouldn't let her get anywhere close to them. Which was probably for the best - while her derangement was far from being overtly evil, the mare was hardly a friendly one. She was short-tempered and hard to read. The constant, conflicting argument of Migi and Hidari made it hard for her sleep or hold a conversation, and she was a carnivore (a trait most Soquili found repulsive).
Yet, while she had spent much time with Skinwalkers, the relationships with them was wholly unfulfilling. Skinwalkers, even her mother, could not form any kind of actual relationship - while they did not recoil from her they generally saw her as inferior at best or prey at worst. The innate, selfish nature of skinwalkes meant even the most tenuous 'friendship' was setting up for failure: eventually they would betray you.
Look, she isn't even listening to us! The harsh, angry hiss of Hidari broke her thoughts and she shook her head from her cloud of clarity.
Rude, ungrateful thing, Migi said with a sad shake of its head.
Sneering against the insults, Sarvara carried on, seeing the signs of dawn approaching and considering trying to hunt before exhaustion took over.((note: Hidari and Mihi are Sarvara's tails and they do not actually talk - its all in Sarava's head. The tails, however, do move and articulate as if they are talking, no sound comes out, except in Sarava's head))

The soft sound of crickets playing their song and boastful frogs croaking in harmony filled the midnight air. His time of day was swiftly drawing to an end and his cat like stare gazed up at the faint stars that filled the glowing sky. Nekomata steadily navigated his way towards the dimmer side of the heavens, thinking that it would make the night last all the more. The sash wrapped around his front legs limited his movement greatly but it didn't render him immobile. He wouldn't let a silly piece of fabric cage a beast like himself.
The only true reason he allowed the material to hug his knees was for his fathers sake. Ryu bound him as a foal, keeping his movement restrained for the nearby critters to have an actual fighting chance. He was quite the little mischief maker as a kitten. Always sinking his teeth into birds, rabbits, and even the occasional foal. From most Soquili's point of view it would seem like the right thing to do.
As he dragged his paws along the grassy floor of the forest he was traveling through he caught a whiff of something intriguing. Fur. Thick fur, but unfamiliar to his senses. "Hmm, my my my. Maybe it's something I can play with," he charmed himself with his sleek words, smooth as polished stone. He stepped lightly towards the drawing aroma until his slit eyes locked in on the sight of a mare as black as a deep abyss. He rustled around in the foliage until he circled her, stepping out directly in her path. "An interesting find I've come across. Well worth the intrusion," he grinned playfully. A smile fit for a Cheshire cat.

Sarvara was caught off-guard, lost in the arguments in her head: this was a common problem with the mare. When she was hunting, she could often get Hidari and Migi to quell enough to focus for just those few moments to procure a meal. But if she wasn't on the prowl, then she often found herself wandering in to where she was not welcome. Though usually she was the one scaring off the company...
Still, her initial reaction was surprise, jumping back, her hackles raised and teeth bared. Even Hidari and Migi curled into their defensive positions: posed similar to those of a snake readying to strike. She relaxed over a bit when it seemed that this...creature did not seem openly hostile. Yet. She relaxed her jaw and rolled her shoulders, though her tails stayed at the ready.
Her glowing yellow orbs played over him, observing. She looked a bit confused; though weary. Her eyes went over his paws, the twine between them, his thick fur. Like her, he seemed caught somewhere between a 'normal' Soquili and a skinwalker. He did not reek of death like her walker associates, though he certainly had a predators edge of danger. "Intrusion?" she finally asked. Sarvara rarely spoke out loud, and was surprisingly harmonic considering her fearsome appearance. "Have I wandered onto your territory?" It was a simple question, not laced with regret or aggression.
