This is Squad 7's Barracks and Training Grounds. If someone in Squad 7 needs to rest it is done in the barracks. Most of squad 7 can be found in the barracks at anytime. The Training ground is for battles and training. if there is a confilct its taken to the Training ground, not done in the barracks.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino gets up and walks over to the bed in his office and lays on it. He thought maybe a little sleep would help him feel better, though he doubted he would be able to get any sleep. Rino, infact, got no sleep as he laid there; the guilt and and fear stopping him from calming down enough to sleep. 'Look at me, i'm a wreck. If i can not sleep then i will not be able to function properly around the Seiretei, let alone in combat. I guess this is what i deserve for failing to uphold my duty to protect, as well as being a "traitor." Maybe Central 46 is sending someone to capture me right now; maybe they have excused my actions, though this is unlikely. I wish things would hurry up and present themselves before my eyes so i can see what is to become of me.' Rino sighs and tries to sleep again but still can not. He once again has forgotten that the door is unlocked. Anyone could enter as he lies there, back to the door, unable to see who enters. Even if he knew, though, it wasn't likely that he would care. He was expecting someone to come. He didn't know who, but expecting someone to come.

 Sōdaina walks through the halls of 7th squads barracks. He was newly appointed Lieutenant of squad 7. He did not care about his new rank, except for two facts. The first fact is that fewer people could boss him around, which he hated being bossed around by people. The second was more important to him, however. He was now closer to the most important man in the Soul Society to him. He was now the Lieutenant to his best friend, Rino Kyūseishu. The Captain of 7th squad was his childhood friend before Sōdaina died. The first person he wanted to show off his rank to was Rino. He was irritated a bit, however, because he joined thee academy before Rino but Rino graduated and achieved Captain rank before Sōdaina or Jiyū. He admired that Rino had become strong though, back in the world of the living he was a quiet child that dispised fighting. Rino stilled did hate fighting but he was at least willing to fight now. 'Huh, Rino has grown so much since those days. Once a small child who needed protection from others, now he is the protector of many. I'm jealous of his strength but i know i'll surpass him sometime.' Sōdaina stops infront of the Captain's office. He smiles and kicks in the door without knocking. He looks over and see Rino laying on his bed and begins to shout to him. "Hey Rino! Been a long time since i saw your sour face; how you been doing? I finally made Lieutenant rank today, and guess what squad i got assigned to? Yep, that's right. I'm your Lieutenant from now on!" He looks as Rino does not respond to him and poke Rino with his Zankpakto. "Oi! Rino, what's wrong? what are you so gloomy about? today is a wonderous day! you should come and party with me to celebrate my promotion! we might pick up a few girls while were at it as well."

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino hears the door kick in and sighs. He thinks that Central 46 finally sent someone to capture him. He grabs his Zanpakto and rests his hand on it ready to draw. 'Prepare, chijō no mōtaru. We will not be taken without a fight. We will defend ourselves to the last breath to prove that what we did was just and right. show no fear, my friend, for we shall win this battle and continue to save and protects.' Rino is shocked when he hears a voice that he had not heard in many years. He does not need turn around to see it is Sōdaina Hageshī, his childhood friend. He hears everything Sōdaina says and smiles a bit, but it fades again very quickly. He then feels the pokes of the Zanpakto and quickly grabs it hearing Sōdaina's theroies and propositions. He hated everything that was offered. He was the polar opposite of his friend. 'You have not changed a bit since those days Sōdaina. You are still the same person as our childhood.' Rino sighs and turned over to look at Lieutenant Hageshi. "To start my dear friend, I am Captain Kyūseishu. You will address me by my rank is that understood? Second, it is nice to see you again Lieutenant Hageshi. It has been far to long since we could talk. how is my brother doing? As for your offer i refuse, you know that i oppose those ideals. You know very well that i am against those kinds of behaviors, so why would you ask me to do such things?" Rino's voice is calm as always, no trace of anger or excitment in it to be found. He specifically avoided the question of what is wrong. Rino knew that Sōdaina would no understand the situation that he was in at the moment. Sōdaina would have killed Lexxi without second thought and Rino could not do that. He knew that Sōdaina would call him weak if he knew the truth of the events that transpired, though he would surely find out sometime. Rino would insure that he did not find out soon though.

Sōdaina rolls his eyes as Rino "orders" him to call him by his rank. He really hated being formal, he was more relaxed and casual. He ignored Rino's "order" for him to address him by his rank. Rino was always his friend so there was no reason for him to address him as "Captain Kyūseishu." This is the way his mind worked, although Rino might not see it that way. He could no care less though, He pulls up a chair and sits as Rino continues to talk. He smiled at the mention of Jiyū, but frowned upon the refusal of his offer. "I thought my dear friend, 'Captain Kyūseishu,' would at least set aside his high and mighty 'morals and beliefs' to spend the day with his newly promoted friend. It seems that you hold your friendships far under that of your 'duty.' I thought better of you Rino, i at least though you would at least do it just this one day. I only asked for one day, not entire week or anything!" Sōdaina begins to get angry and fume. He always had a temper problem but right now it was far more. Not only was he being bossed around, his best friend refused his offer and was hiding something from him. Rino never hid anything from him in the past, this throughly angered him now. 'I'm going to kill him if he does not tell me what is wrong. I can take this stuck-up p***k anyday of the week.' Sōdaina grips his zanpakto and grits his teeth in anger, his spirit pressure begining to excert itself. "Listen closely you egosentric p***k; you are going to tell me what is going on and what has you bummed or i'll beat it out of you!" He hoped he would not have to fight, because it would be a tough fight against a captain.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino glares at Sōdaina as he rambles. Rino held no anger against his friend, but his friend held anger against him. Rino knew that he would, ever since their childhood Sōdaina had a short temper. His current actions, however, were not his usual ones. In the past, no matter how mad Sōdaina got at Rino, he never once got to the point of aggression. Now, he was ready to draw his zanpakto and fight Rino. Rino sighed as the spirit pressure started to emit in the room. 'Still as naive and foolish as ever. That will have to change if you want to get anywhere.' Rino's eyes narrow becoming cold, but no fury or emotions are behind them. They are just cold, calm eyes. "Lieutenant Hageshī, i warn you now. Do not draw your zanpakto here. If you draw against me then i'll have no choice but to defend myself. I do not wish a fight with you, so i'm asking nicely that you calm down." Rino emits his own spirit pressure. Without even touching chijō no mōtaru, Rino's spirit pressure was equaling Sōdaina's spirit pressure. Rino was not emitting nearly all of his spirit pressure, but neither was Sōdaina, and Rino could tell this. He hated fighting, contrary to his fight-loving friend opposite him. Most of all, though, he really hated having to fight friends and allies outside of sparring and training. "I do not care if want to know what is wrong, i will not tell you. It is none of your concern and does not involve you. It is matters of myself and i will deal with these matters. Also, as for your comment about my ego. You as well as i know that it is you, not I, who has the ego. I ask you kindly, as a friend, to calm down and release your grip on your zanpakto." Rino shifts his own zanpakto so that he could draw it in an instant should he need to.

Sōdaina grits his teeth more. His anger was amounting as Rino spoke. He was not going to back down. 'I will not be beaten by him. I will win, I have to win. If he win now then not only will i not be able to discover what is wrong, then i will lose a chance to prove my strength. I will fight and win!' Sōdaina draws his zanpakto as Rino's spirit pressure matchs his. He only gets angrier as their spirit pressures clash. "I will make you regret ever having spoken those words. I'm going to beat what is wrong out of you, and i will knock that chip off your shoulder while i'm at it. Prepare yourself Rino, because i will not stop until you talk or i can't move." Sōdaina jumps at Rino swinging his zanpakto. He had no intention of releasing it's shikai state. He know in order to beat Rino though that he might have to. The only thing that he feared was that if he released his zanpakto then Rino would also release his. He did not want things to accelerate to that level because it might not stop if it did. He was starting to feel the thrill of battle though so he was not too worried about it. As he swung his zanpakto he unleashed more of his spirit pressure, hoping to through Rino off guard. His zanpakto was aimed to take off Rino's right arm. "Don't worry my friend, i'll make sure that after i cripple you, that the medics come for you. I'll just get what is wrong from you and then call the medics, after all you are a friend. Don't think you stand a chance against me just because you can match my spirit pressure and your rank! I'm am surperior in combat then you are Rino!" A frenzied grin sprawls across Sōdaina's face.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino quickly draws his zanpakto defleting the blow away. Rino swiftly launches a counter attack with the hilt of his zanpakto, the thrusts the end of the hilt at Sōdaina's face. Rino was un effected by the increase in spirit pressure; Rino, in fact, raise his own to continue matching spirit pressures. He did not wish to fight anymore then he had to. He defintaly did not want to swing his sword, and his office was no place to fight. Rino quickly sheaths his zanpakto (regardless if the attack hits or is blocked/dodged, Rino sheaths his zanpakto) and jumps backwards. "Lieutenant Hageshī, Sōdaina , please stop this madness at once. I do not wish to fight you, and this is not a place to fight. I have no quarral with you and have no reason to be upset. I know you have anger problems, but your attack on me is foolish and unreasonable. We are friends, not enemies. So i ask you to put away your zanpakto." Rino's eyes were still calm and his head clear, but a hint of emotion works it's ways into his eyes. He shakes his head and it scatters in the wind as if there was no emotion at all again. 'First, i could not protect Captain Tetsuo. Then, I could not save the Espada Alexis. Now, I am being forced to try and avoid a fight with a childhood friend. This day seems to be the worse i have had in countless years. I really hope it does not get any worse then this. I have to calm him down somehow before he can try another attack, my office is no place for a fight, and i do not wish a fight even if it was. Darn your thick-headed stubborness Sōdaina.' Rino keeps his hand on the hilt of his zanpakto incase he needed to deflect another incoming attack from his friend. The clashing spirit pressures was annoying him because it made it seem as if they were going to battle. He despsited fighting, most of all friends. He was still unnerved about the earlier events that had transpired. 'Alexis, i failed to save you. It was my attacks that crippled you to that point of being so defenceless. And Captain Tetsuo... I failed you the worse. i promised to protect you and you were wounded. then i abandoned you and fled like a coward...' Rino's guilt is overwhelming him slowly.

Sōdaina jumps back just in time to avoid the counter attack from Rino. His fierce grin is now a disgruntled frown. He was not going to be made a fool of on his first day as a Lieutenant. He was determined to help his friend, something he did not care to do all to often. More so, though, he was determined to show that he was as strong as any captain. He would prove this by beating Rino, though of course he had to make sure not to wound him badly. After all, the whole point to begin with was to find what was upsetting Rino. He listens to what Rino has to say and frowns more. "I do not care if this is a place to fight or not. I also do not care if you wish to fight or not, because i'm going to beat you senseless with or without a fight." Rino strikes a nerve in Sōdaina when he mentions the anger problem. Sōdaina tilts his head to the side and looks in anger and frustration. "what did you say? i could have sworn you just said i have anger problems. Me? anger problems? I'll show you anger problems you arrogant, self-rightous.... You are the fool, not me! It is you who is foolish to think you can match me!" The clashing spirit pressures only excite the thirst for battle in Sōdaina, unlike how it annoyed Rino. He grips his zanpakto at his side tighter, trying to hold back from taking another wild swing. He knew that since Rino was a tactition on battle he would have to carefully choose how he attacks. He eyes Rino slowly, he hated how emotionless his eyes where. Rino seemed like a cold hearted shell to him. He might even go so far as to say Rino seemed dead, but this would come out as a bad joke. 'Umi no seishin, do you thirst? do you want to battle him? I can release you and we can fight to our hearts content. It has been sometime since we fought a real battle, maybe i should not fear using your power against him.' a light blue aura forms around the hilt and guard of Sōdaina's zanpakto, as if water was manifesting around it his zanpakto. It seemed that Sōdaina had finally choosen to use his shikai. He stands a mere 10 feet from Rino, he could easily attack but he waits.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino scowls as Sōdaina loses his temper. each word he spoke, each angry and fury filled word, only proved Rino right. Sōdaina was never known for being cool headed like Rino was, he was more the battle-hardend fighter. This suited him well though. Ever since they were kids, Sōdaina had been one to pick fights and enjoy the violance. Rino was more the quiet kid who was social and kind. They were complete opposites as children, and they are complete oppostiets even now. Rino was going to fight back against him as much as he could. he had to get out of the office before it was a battle scene. He thought of making a run for the door but then something changed in Sōdaina. He had an evil grin on his face and his spirit pressure was filled with thirst for a fight. He was losing himself to the violence. Rino knew now that he needed to end the fighting here and now. 'Sōdaina, forgive me. You leave me no other choice. I will have to defend myself, as well as save you.' Rino stands his ground and grips his zanpakto. He glares at his friend and then his spirit pressure shifts. A crimson aura forms around Rino as his eyes pierce through it as if it was fog. "Chijō no mōtaru, Earthly Mortal. The Avatar of Humanity. Defender of Mankind. He strikes down all those who oppose him. So my question to you is: Are you a friend or a foe?" Rino draws Chijō no mōtaru and spins it in his hand before making an arc motion infront of him and a red flash suddenly consumes the room. " Hangyaku-sha, Chijō no mōtaru!" Just as quickly as the aura appeared it was gone. Rino stood in the dying mist and smoke. In Rino's hand was Chijō no mōtaru, it's crimson gleam making it look blood soaked. the aura appears around it again and seems as if it is ready to take form.[OCC: sorry i have not posted in a bit. i have been very distraced as well as having been stressed and tired. To top it off i got a little bit of writer's block >.< im going to start posting again as much as i can. once again sorry for the inconveince.]

Sōdaina watchs as Rino grabs his zanpakto and clash spirit pressures. He grinned widely, waiting for the battle to start. Suddenly a shiver went up his spine, a cry from Umi no seishin signalled him that somethin was wrong. He heard the warning in his head. 'Hageshī! His spirit pressure is changing rapidly! He is about to do something. Be catious we don't know what he has in mind, his resolved has seemed to that off fighting.' Sōdaina quickly eyes Rino and seees the change as well. he felt something was differnt he just couldn't tell what. It was to late when he learned. He saw the aura consume his friend an took a few steps back. he saw the piercing eyes and fear started to take ahold. Next the flash came, Sōdaina covered his eyes but was still blinded by it. He recovered fast and looked into the smoke and mist to seek a gleaming crimson zanpakto. He releaized that Rino was releasing his shikai when he started speaking. The words rang with power, they instilled more fear into Sōdaina's heart. He was second guesing himself about fighting Rino, but he knew that had no choice now. "Rino, you have shown your power. It is time i repayed the favor." Sōdaina's aura flares and he grins as he is ready to release his Shikai. " Furō, Umi no seishin!" The zanpakto liquified and the water reformed into a light blue spear that seemed to remain as the water that formed it.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino's expression did not change as Sōdaina released his zanpakto. Rino's eyes were just as emotionless and hollow as always. His soul seemed as cold as the winter wind. It was no wonder that this has all started. Maybe if Rino was more open and social as he use to be then the conflict would not have occured. It did not matter though, the conflict started and now he had to save his friend from blood lust. He would not let his closest friend fall hard because of his thirst for battle. Rino pointed his zanpakto straight out toward Sōdaina. His spirit pressure was now as coll and calm as him, it not longer flared in fear or anger. He spoke softly and calmy to his friend. "I said it once before and i say it again. This place is not suited for our battle. Follow me to the training grounds and we shall begin there. If you do not come, i will come get you and drag you there. The battle has begun, now i shall see that it ends." Rino walks out of his office, Chijō no mōtaru in his hands. He walks down the halls and out to the training grounds where he waits for Sōdaina. He ponders as he waits. 'Am i really doing the right thing? i was already called a traitor once, wouldd this not be treason again? It does not matter, he wants to fight regardless of the costs. I shall show him that battle is not enjoyable. It is left to me, his Captain and friend, to free him before it is too late.' Rino sighs and looks up at the open sky, his eyes set on it as if it held answers to his questions. As he looked up at the sky, though, he saw visions of the events in Kurakara town. His guilt was more then he could ever have imagined it would be. 'She was the enemy, but i felt a responsiblity to save her. It was because of me that she died, i was the one to weaken her to that state. I allowed for Captain Tetsuo to get injured and then fled without healing her. To make matters worse i healed the enemy rather then my injured commrad. What kind of person does that? I have become a monster haven't I? Am i just a cold-hearted monster? i guess i shall find out my answer in time. I will visit Captain Tetsuo after i finish this Sōdaina. It shall be at her hand that i face punishment, for she is the one that i wronged.' Rino swings his zanpakto in simple arcs, just to help ease his mind, though it does not work very well.'

Rino twirls his zanpakto in his hands waiting for his friend, but Sōdaina did not show up. He began to wonder if his friend had cowarded out and decided not to show. He sighed and walked back to his room to find taht he was gone. Sōdaina had disappeared, either fled or had other more important business to attend. Either way, Rino was left alone again. He sheathed Chijō no mōtaru and set it down next to the bed still in Shikai state incase his friend appeared i a sudden attack, though he had a feeling that would not happen. He wasn't like that, his attack were head on and straight forward. He would never attack Rino from stealth or surprise. Rino started blankly at the ceiling, he was surprised that Central 46 had not sent anyone yet. Or was Sōdaina the one sent to capture him? If not then why did they not send someone? had he not committed treason in the world of the living? Rino just laid there and sighed. He got to his feet and let his zanpakto return to its usual state. He walked to the door and once he got outside again he started to shunpo from the barracks. He did not know where he was going, he just needed to get away. If he was not going to be charged for high crimes then he might as well not lock himself up in his office. He felt the guilt keenly still, and felt numb inside, but he had to get away. He was not going to make himself a prisoner in his own office and his own body.

Rino Fōrun Kyūseishu "I will do anything to protect those close at hand and heart. Even if it costs me my own life." Rino lightly landed on the top of the building near the training grounds. He jumped down and calmly walked off. He looked down at his zanpakto and sighed. It was for Kiriri that he would fight. He had to help restore her memory. He must fight in order to restore what she had lost. If the fight did not help then maybe his healing abilities would be able to restore her memories. He did not know. He walked over to a small shed and took out a tea kettle and logs. He walked over to a large rock and set the logs down next to it. He lit a match and started a fire, which he put the tea kettle over. Once the tea was ready he poured it into a small ceramic cup he brought from the same shed. He sat cross legged upon the rock and patiently awaited Kiriri to arrive after meeting Captain Tsukimori. For some strange feeling, a rush of confidence was fond in him. He had a smile on his face, and a gleem in his eyes. He looked at the sky and was actually happy.
