 Cad walked the perimeter of his grand mother's herd territory and looked for any new signs of two-legger camps. He was looking for some more things to add to his supplies. He had caught up on his work once more, his tinkering complete. Well that was till he found something new to make. For now until he understood more about wings he was taking a break from revamping and upgrading the glider he'd once made his sisters. Sure.. he wanted to get it done... but those things too time. He was a large stallion, big in height but his frame screamed the sleek agility of the cerynei breed. Fluffy ears flicked and swiveled about on his head as he listened to everything and yet nothing all at once. His pace was full of confidence as he walked.

 Atiya and Demo, her squirrel friend, had taken to wandering again. They had not yet found a place or a herd to call home, so they just took life as it came. This morning, they were standing a little ways off of a camp, staring curiously at the doings of its residents. They had also taken to staring at her, however, and she was becoming a bit uncomfortable. Perhaps it was time to move off. The tallish mare considered the options. Curiosity was seriously getting in the way of common sense, and this thought had begun to invade her consciousness quite vocally.

He hadn't been walking too long before a familiar scent caught his attention. Smoke.. smoke meant two-leggers. Here he'd been looking for an abandoned camp and it seemed like now he might have a chance to see two-leggers again. The first and only one he'd ever seen had been one that had visited his grand mother when he'd been a foal and even then had had only seen her from afar.
Heading in the direction of the camp, he carefully made his way along, stopping every now and then to make sure it was safe. Even though he'd pilfer through their discarded and broken items, he never usually made it a point to go and associate himself with them in person.

Atiya's ear flicked sideways. Another Soquili? Her gaze followed the quiet sound of sneaking hooves. "Hey," she chuckled, taking care not to sound threatening. "if you're trying to sneak up on me it isn't going to work."

His ears gave a flick, he hadn't noticed much but there had been a mare standing there. Blinking he pondered how he'd missed this.. had his mind been so involved with his contraptions that he'd overlooked another soquili? Eying the mare he let out a small chuckle. "It's alright.. I wasn't intending on sneaking up on you.. more creeping in to watch the two-leggers.. bide my time before they left you know. They usually leave behind the most remarkable things."

Atiya's interest was piqued and her expression showed it. "Remarkable things, huh? I would certainly like to see that." She moved closer to him. "Mind if I tag along?"

His ears flicked forward some at her question. "Sure I suppose,They're remarkable to me though.. I wouldn't know how you or anyone else might perceive them." He said with a slight shrug, his whithers twitching with the motion.
It wasn't too long and the two-leggers had their camp packed and were moving out. Still he stood, waiting for them to leave. "Won't be to much longer.. then we can snoop through their things and see what can be made." He smiled, speaking more to himself.

"Made?" Atiya inquired gently, trying to get an answer without spoiling the stallion's train of thought. "So you do things with them?"

Cad nodded, his eyes on the last tottering fat little toddler before it's picked up by it's mother and packed off. Such silly looking things these two-leggers but they have the most splendid things. "Mhm, I make things.. mostly useful things but sometimes I experiment to see what I come up with in the end.." Quietly, the large stallion made his way into the camp, looking closely, moving softly and listening just in case one of the two-leggers came back.

Atiya had to admit she had no idea what sort of thing the large bluish male might be looking for, but she decided to help just the same. She nosed aside a scrap of ruined hide and exposed a nice one underneath. "Hey, how about this?" she called softly. "It looks nice."

He walked over to take a look at the scrap of hide and nodded. "That will do nicely.. now.. lets see if there are any other things they managed to leave behind." He chuckled lightly, looking around the camp intently as he moved.

The mare accidentally ran into a pile of junk, knocking it over with a loud CRASH. She was so startled she nearly cried out, but Atiya knew they were supposed to be quiet. She restrained herself and prayed she hadn't made too much noise already. A large black-and-white squirrel appeared to investigate the ruckus, peering at them from the camp's edge.
