Biography/History: Born in a small rural community in western Canada, Shiggs took up hunting at a young age. He started with bows and eventually moved up to rifles, though he always remembered the weapon he'd bagged his first deer with. When he finished high school Shiggs enlisted with the Canadian Forces. The forces was the ideal job for Shiggs, he was able to help people, travel the world and deal with explosives as a trained Signal Operator. In Afghanistan Shiggs honed his skills in firefights, becoming more used to the realites of combat.
When s**t started to hit the fan back home Shiggs' unit was pulled out of the desert and brought home. Most Canadian citizens had fled north, where they'd be safer, when things started to become apocalyptic. Unfortunately Shiggs' mother was bitten and killed when his father and her were headed north. Shiggs was unable to see his family, or make sure they were alright as he was deployed to the UK. With the majority of the Canadian population in a colder climate the Army headed across the pond to assist the British armed forces with their own relief efforts. Things really went south for Shiggs outside of London when a radio malfunction resulted in the death of his squad. Shiggs could do nothing as his friends were eaten alive, except run. With no contact to his superiors or any other military personnel, Canadian or otherwise, Shiggs began to wander. He collected a compound bow from a hunting store and loads up on arrows and arrow heads whenever he can. For now Shiggs' only goal is to get home, or to find some way to contact his superiors.
