My lumber:

I this is a strip of wood to help secure the bottom support of the ramp. I glued it into place so that when I screwed it on, I could do it from the top of the ramp and not have screws poking up through the wood where she would walk.

Placing the support against the strip before I screw it together:

Once that was done I screwed on two more strips on the top of the ramp, to keep her from slipping down it:

Then cut up a doormat I bought, glued it on, and presto, I had a ramp!


Not counting the drill and saw, the supplies to make this ramp cost me about $20. smile
