Here it was. The door. It was, as it were, clearly labelled. With fresh paint, actually. The panelling around the frame was muted purple to match the deeper color of the carpet. It was clear that the demon dorms were of the school of 'spared no expense'. It was just as well, as the spoiled rock star had been groomed to expect nothing less.
Perhaps JD had invited them there to be nice. Or perhaps it was because he was lazy. It was probably the latter. Either way, his team for the horsemen trials (which was significantly lacking in ghouls) needed a place to meet, and what better place than his mancave.
Of the boil himself, there was no sign. The hallway was empty and quiet, besides the faint whisper of some kind of air conditioning in the distance. The door was shut, but there was a knocker. There was also a rather irate looking Party Cat lurking outside.

Zar didn't fancy having people in his room, picky as he was about people touching, sitting on or even being near his things, so he was pretty happy when the subject of heading to JDs was brought up. It definately appealed more.
Just for the sake of punctuality he'd asked Nuru to meet him outside, looking for any excuse not to show up alone, socially anxious enough as it was. He was at least glad it was in the familiar setting of the demon dorms so not /quite/ as unsettling as it could have been otherwise.
He flicked his tail nervously as he gave the party cat what he hoped was an inoffensive glance. He didn't knock yet though, just looked around for Nuru.

Nuru scurried into the hallway and beamed a bright smile at Zar as soon as he saw him.
"Oh hey sorry I'm-..." It was then he noticed the party cat. Hair bristling all down his back as he clenched his teeth and began growling darkly at it.
He physically wedged his body between Zar and it... as if it were a huge threat.

Herryk was pretty cranky.
No, that's a lie.
Herryk was in an incredibly, horribly brooding frame of mind. When he approached Johnny Danger's dorm room and spotted Zar and Nuru, he scowled briefly at them before lifting a rather massive fist.
That fist smashed into the door a solid five times before Herryk shot the Party Cat a surly look, rested his shoulder against the door frame... and waited.

Zar was about to greet Nuru as the boil showed up, but was completely derailed by the sight of him trying to be intimidating at the party cat, looking completely nonplussed.
"Oh. No. Help. The cat is going to eat me." He stated in completely deadpan tone, before edging Nuru with a hoof. "No. Not really. Now stop that, that's probably someone's pet."
He almost leapt out of his skin as Herryk knocked the door however, blinking. "..Wow. That's..quite a.." he cleared his throat "..door..knocking...maneuver you have there." No way the boil in the room could miss that.

"I'M COMING!" Was all that could be heard, muffled by the door.
Oh my.
The party cat looked increasingly concerned, and retreated down the hall.

Nuru relaxed both at Zar's assurances he was fine - but mostly as the cat took off. He stuck his chest out looking super chuffed with himself either way. A pride he was knocked out of as soon as Herryk came storming through and banging on the door.
"What's wrong with you?" He sounded annoyed more than concerned.

Herryk gave a loud, dismissive grunt when JD called out that he was coming, rolling his eyes before swinging his gaze towards Nuru.
"What is wrong with Herryk? Nothing is wrong with Herryk. Is this one saying something is wrong with Herryk? Herryk is as fine as the fluff on a foxfire."
He didn't sound fine. He sounded anything but fine.
Pinching the bridge of his nose between forefinger and thumb, Herryk continued to wait.

Zar just STARED at the door.
"What is he DOING in there?"
He looked mortified.

And then the door swung open. "Oh. Hey guys."Was he wet? Was that perspiration? Condensation? Did he just come out of the shower?! Whatever the case, the Party Cat chose that moment to make a mad dash for the safety indoors. The dorm was something else entirely. It was large, yet surprisingly sparse. There was a sofa, table, kitchenette- but the main feature seemed to be the row upon row of letters, envelopes and CDs placed carefully against the far wall. There was a stairwell that presumably led to a bed. The overall effect was sleek, ultramodern, and as unlike the doorway or the singer himself as possible.

Nuru was about to ask if the guy had hit his head or something when the door swung open. Quickly shutting him up as he stared at their host. Was this that sort of get together?
He wasn't about to complain if it was... he just hoped he had known before hand so he would have dressed more appropriately.

Zar's look of mortification didn't go away, it only got marginally worse. He wished he had brought his clipboard with him to hide behind, to shield himself from the misty vision of man that greeted them.
"I er. Hope we weren't interrupting anything."

Herryk didn't wait for an invitation to enter JD's dorm. He leaned his shoulder on the door and let himself in.

"Huh? Oh. Nah. Uh. That is, I just wanted a quick shower. Helps me think."
He glanced back and forth down the hallway, as if looking for someone. Where was that ghoul? He almost didn't notice as-
"Yeah, uh, come in I guess," he said, glaring at Herryk's back. Geez.

"Agh--ouch!"
"Yeah there's a post there."
"Mr. Monty...I don't think I like this game."
"Think of it as training. You've stopped falling every other step, right?"
Thump!
"N-no..."
"Don't start crying, we're almost there!"
The occupants of the demon dorm were treated to the somewhat eccentric sight of a small witch gripping her familiar's scarf like a leash as she stumbled over and bumped into nearly every piece of furniture in their path. Mr. Monty, in his great wisdom, felt that it might be best if Emily didn't actually know where they were going, or who they were going to see. Really he just wanted to skip the meltdowns and panic attacks until he could pawn dealing with her off on the rest of the team. The blind-fold was proving highly effective, if slightly hazardous to her health.
Sadly, even though he was so close to his goal, the familiar had underestimated the power of both fangirls and the blind. Entering the hallway, that final stretch, Emily's nostrils suddenly flared and she whipped her head about. Some would liken the witches following actions to that of the velociraptor as she scented the air, bobbing too and for.
"Mr. Monty..." she hissed, voice intense, "I smell...the fragrant and slightly damp body of...Johnny Danger!"
