Harp's river is a peaceful little river that flows just beyond the grounds of Rosentale Academy. It is a very popular place for people who want to go fishing or just have some time to themselves to think. It is called Harp's River because there is a legend about a harp playing nymph that lives there. It is said that a small child drowned in the river hundreds of years ago, and that a nymph mourns there with her harp. But is it true or not? Well, thats up to each individual.

After leaving the infirmary Jukka had gone back to his dorm and retrieved his fishing pole and tackle. He also grabbed a pair of gloves and headed outside. Upon reaching the river, the boy stood by the water's edge and casted his line, fishing quietly. What a calm and peaceful place. But it gave Jukka the chills and he had no clue why. He didn't want to believe the urban legend about the girl and the nymph, so he told himself he was chilly because of the cold air. In fact, it was quite freezing outside... maybe this was a bad idea....

" MR. FINKLEHOPPER! FLUFFY! Come back!" Pilot called as she chased her stray sheep from the field next to the school, through the woods, and down a path that led to Harp's river. "Come back! Gray wont like it if you run away!" It would seem as though Pilot had become a pro at sneaking off. The girl watched helplessly as two of her sheep ran down to the river where Jukka was, ran around him, and then kept on going. "Oh no!" She had to stop her sheep! She ran past the startled boy.

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
In spite of the frosty winter, Annalie found this river to be a good source of prey to catch since animals needed fish, and where else could they find it besides here? She had set up various traps around with the intent of capturing them alive since they simply tasted better that way. After hearing a few traps go off which was pretty fast. She had just finished putting them up after all., she swam as she was in the river. She refused to wheel her way around in the snow. over to where her catch was, only to spot two sheep suspended in the air by her netting.
Sheep? She never knew they could be in this area, but it wasn't like she was complaining. This would be a first for her to try some sheep. However, soon enough, she spotted a young girl making her way over to them. Dessert? "Excuse me, but do these sheep belong to you, miss?" Annalie asked, hiding her disappointment at the lost meals. It was expected though since they seemed to be the girl's escaped food instead. She should really take better care of keeping her prey from running off.

Pilot ran over in a panic, "Yes! Those are my sheep! Please get them down, they are scared up there!" The small girl pleaded with tears in her eyes. She was worried about her friends! Pilot did not think that sheep liked to be up high, so she wanted them down. And now.

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
This child was rather fussy, but something about her reminded her of a certain bratty child back where she used to live. Hm... Annalie simply nodded as she lifted herself up out of the water and began to untie the rope that allowed them to hover up before gently lowering them the two creatures down. "Hush, hush. I got them down safe and sound." She softly tried to calm the girl down as she tried to brush some tears off. Wait, that was a bad idea. Her hands were in no doubt freezing from her dip in the river. "C'mon now, let's dry those eyes, or else your face might freeze. Now, do tell me. What exactly are you doing out here, child? With... sheep as well?"
Hope whispers, ‘Try it one more time.’” - Anonymous

"I ran away from Gray because my sheep ran off." She explained as she gazed around. "Now I don't know where I am~" She added a bit shakily. Pilot had no clue as to where she was, and now she was starting to get scared. "Oh no! Im lost! Ill never see Gray again~!" she stated as she began to cry.

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
"Shhh." She hushed repeatedly, pulling the girl into a hug and rubbing her back to soothe her. and... getting her wet. "Don't you worry one bit. I came across this Gray person before, so I'll help you find him." Of course, if this child wasn't willing to follow a stranger, then that might be a bit troublesome.
Annalie asked as confirmation. "Let me see if we're talking about the same Gray though. Does he wear an eyepatch of some sort, resembles a pirate, and has little golems every now and then?"

Pilot sniffs and wipes her nose on her sleeve, nodding. "I live with him now," she told Annalie. The small girl trembled, partly because she was wet and cold, and partly because she was horribly frightened. "We live at the school," she added with a sniff.

”When the world says, ‘Give up,’
"I see. Well, I work at the school, so that means that you don't need to cry anymore. I'll get you there right away, missy." Annalie remarked, dragging herself over to her wheelchair to fetch a few blankets and sweaters to bury the girl in. "First thing's first, let's bundle you up into something warmer okay?" While Annalie herself was fine with the cold, there was no doubt that a human? girl would be suffering. She handed her belongings over so that the child could wrap herself in them before she pulled herself into her wheelchair.
"How about we hurry? I don't want you to catch a cold or anything."

Pilot wiped her eyes and took the sweater from Annalie, throwing it on over her shirt. She then wrapped one of the blankets around her small frame and began followed her back to the school. Fluffy and Mr. Finklehopper had had enough excitement for the day so they marched along behind the couple.

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... It was freezing, and her clothes were torn and not offering a lot of protection from the elements, but Angela didn't care. She just ran because she didn't know what to believe or what to feel and right now everything hurt too much for her to be able to face it. And she just wanted to curl up alone, in a dark place, where no one would find her.
She was so confused and scared and...she couldn't deal with any of this.
Angela made it to the river before her legs gave out and she pitched forward into the snow and dead leaves, and just laid there sobbing with her chest hurting and lungs burning every time she sucked a frigid breath down her throat. It wasn't just about Abel, though. That hurt and she wasn't sure what to believe--though Ayu hadn't seemed to be lying and given how very, very (almost weirdly) attached to her Abel was, Angela wasn't able to just easily dismiss that claim. But also, that conversation was not how she wanted to distract herself from the horror of being trapped in another lab again.
She coughed and sobbed into the ground, curling up on the cold ground. How could she even face him again? She was so...stupid. And his confession from before was probably just some idiotic way to give her the will to live so the school wouldn't have to deal with a student dying.
Angela had already thought this before but it was clear now--Abel didn't need her. He had Ayu, after all.

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... Angela wasn't sure how long she had laid there crying but by the time her emotions were somewhat in check again, she was shivering violently. She huddled up next to a tree, wrapping her arms around her knees as she stared at the icy river. She had told herself, when coming here, that she wouldn't get caught up in all these teen angst and drama and high school nonsense.
And look at her now. She was huddled in the bloody snow, feeling utterly wretched because of some man. Granted, it wasn't just that. But she couldn't pretend feeling like Abel had been lying to her didn't contribute to her current state. She shivered again as a gust of wind blew her hair into her eyes. She caught one of the long locks and stared at it desolately. She had spent so many years carefully erecting walls all around her to keep people out.
And Abel had slipped past every single one of them effortlessly. She had let him get so close to her. Like a little fool. She clenched her hand around her hair and stood. Right.
Fine. She would just bolster her defenses and kick his sorry a** from here to the next century, next time she saw him. And then she'd catch up with him, and kick it again.
She brushed herself off and, despite the state of clothing, headed into the city, her expression angry and determined.Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress... [exits to downtown]
