Intro

I'm not breaking this up into blocks of text like a traditional thread Rp because simply this is a small story. Or well a very long excerpt. Neener neener neener~ Pray I never breed Erasmus.

Muncha and this is what I do to get them on opposite sides of the post with minimal effort. Absinthe

The Borro Hills always looked quite glamorous in the silver moon light. The great green Stallion trotted up and down--fluttering his pearlescent wings every so often and unintentionally dislodging a few of the slightly intoxicating scale dust into the air – those hills almost every night just to find that perfect light to bask in. What’s the point in looking so good if he couldn’t show it off, amiright?

Yet, even with this never ending lust for the perfect moonbeam to bask in, Absinthe felt a pang of idocracy in this silly search. What use was a moonbeam if there was not a soul to watch him bask in the radiance? It seemed really silly. With a flick of his tail and ears, the green stallion halted his quest for a moment to glance around. Nothing but the songs of the hill’s grasses and wildlife hovering in the air met his senses. His irritation fluttered to the surface when his wings buzzed quickly before folding neatly onto his back. This simply wouldn’t do! There needed to be another soul! Anything!

And yet there was. Not too far off, Muncha, fresh from a nap and up for an evening walk, lazily walked through the tall grasses never minding the tug it had on the soft cloth he wore. Still, he was searching for the other half of his soul, but to no avail. Not even a hint now that he was known to the two legged beings of where that other half was on this island. Weariness and emptiness was beginning to consume the beautiful stallion—and it showed in the way he walked and passed over something large and green and staring at him with nothing more than a blink and a snort. Oh, Muncha could feel eyes upon him. He could feel them boring into his flesh, eyeing every ornamentation, brushing through his mane and piercing into the back of his skull. It wasn’t until the stomping of hooves and a whinny broke the mundane soundscape did he come out of his slight daze.

The dark stallion gazed over and actually took the time to look at this thing that had made the noise. He didn’t quite know what to make of Absinthe other than there was an alluring aura surrounding the other. It was hard to say what exactly the other wanted aside from just acknowledgement. Then the winds shifted and Munch caught a full breath of the heavy and intoxicating scent that surrounded the green fairy azrein. He couldn’t help but snort and shake his head to get free from the tantalizing grasp, but did he really want to? The sweet embrace of just that simple, calming, heady scent was enough to keep Muncha watching the other with rapt attention. Words garbled, Muncha couldn’t seem to quite gather himself to get a sentence out.

Absinthe, rather pleased with the adoring fan, puffed himself up and in the process fluttered his delicate wings. That intoxicating dust spread again and in delight, the green fairy notice how the other seemed to lean towards him ever more. “ These hills are quite radiant at night, don’t you agree,” Absinthe asked with a purr. The green stallion approached the other, making sure the light was just perfect to show off his absolutely beautiful pelt pattern—not to mention those dashing little wings he loved to flutter once in a while. Eventually the other would build up an immunity to his delightful little toxin, but that wouldn’t be for a very long while.

Gulping and with a shift of weight from one side to the other, Muncha didn’t quite know what to say in response to the approach of the delightful stallion. All he really could do was blink and nod and pray that his mouth didn’t utter anything incredibly stupid like ‘ Nice wings’ or ‘Good lord! You have red eyes!’ Thankfully, nothing was uttered, yet his silence hovered around him…

… And like a cat with a mouse, Absinthe sensed this unease and couldn’t help but circle around this Azrein that rivaled his own beauty. Now this was interesting. “You aren’t from around here, are you gorgeous?” Again, he had a sensual purr to his words but it was far more subdued. Up close, this guy might give Absinthe a run for his money with the others. But what if he was on his side? That might change things. And who knows where this night may lead to.
It took a great amount of will to ignore that absolutely fantastic scent that wafted off the circling one, but Muncha managed, and he raised an eyebrow and flicked an ear at the obvious out of town comment. Mostly the ‘gorgeous’ statement had him a bit suspicious. Random strangers telling you that you’re pretty puts most people off, or at least raises some warning flags. Okay, so Muncha was almost defenseless with that ever sweet and soothing smell… “No,” he answered, shaking himself out and trying his very best to not seem as at weak in the knees as he was. “ No I’m not. Though, with the way you strut, I highly doubt you are a native yourself. Or if you are, do take me to your leader.” A small coy grin soon grew into just a goofy smile at that small joke. “With those eyes of yours, I can’t help but think you are from another world.” Cheesy, but Muncha wasn’t in the right state of mind to say what he actually meant. It was all coming out silly and blubbery. And this green guy was getting more and more attractive and appealing by the breath.

“ An-another world?” Absinth stopped in his tracks and blinked back at this sheepishly grinning Azrein. And his eyes weren’t that weird, were they? Well, they were red. And he did have antennae… Okay, so maybe he could be considered an alien. But he was a proper Fairy Azrein! They were allowed to look weird. Right? Well that’s what his mommy said anyways before she went off and got herself trapped in a butterfly net. . . . Long story. He coughed, fluttered his wings as he settled his mind and then pretty much jutted his nose into Muncha’s little bubble causing the pretty black boy to pull back in surprise. “Wanna get a closer look, fancy pants?” It was playful mockery that included the fluttering of eyelashes and the twitching of antennae.

The awkward silence was broken by both in a slow crescendo of laughter, interrupting a chorus of crickets and frogs. They exchanged names and soon were walking side by side through the spotted hills. And yet, Muncha had this very strong urge to lick this other to see if the taste matched the scent. The closer he walked to the other, the stronger the scent and the less he wanted the other to leave. It filled that ache of his soul. Perhaps he was looking for another Azrein and not a human … It was a possibility. On the other hand Absinthe was just enjoying the company of someone that wasn’t trying to pluck his wings or do any sort of harm to him. He was a fairy after all.

Their conversation that had drifted to talk of their home herds lulled to a comfortable silence with the two stallions’ shoulders brushing one another while they continued to roam that silver lit night. And both, as it seemed, were glad to at least find someone they could talk to that eased the pang of loneliness. Soon, though neither noticed, the dawn was on the horizon—and yet they continued on their long walk together on that sweet grass in the Borro Hills each separately deciding to stick around with this one. . .

( Did you all really want to read four pages of really bad dialect? I know I don’t. You’re welcome. )
