Coeur had spent her day in her new den planning what she would do with it now that she had one. She couldn't believe the day had come where she was living in her own den! Just yesterday it seemed she was a cub trailing after her mother or trying to be a strong warrior like her father. Then again, that last part had never truly gone away. It just sort have got pushed to the back burner for now. Coeur smiled. Maybe she would just be a secret warrior. With the way the pride was now it wasn't to far of a stretch for her to be one, after all they were at war.

The blue lioness sighed. She needed to take a walk and clear her head, which could duel as a way she could find things for her new den. Smiling once more she headed out, trying to fill her thoughts with ideas already. Maybe she could find some flowers or some multi-colored rocks to fill it with. Shrugging slightly she headed off towards the border. That was probably a good place to find such things. Right?

After a while of walking Coeur finally reached the pride borders and quickly got to work hunting down rocks that looked pretty or colorful. "Hmm... Maybe this?" She said to herself, looking at a large rock with red and black stripes along it's surface.

Nefarian was truly his father's son.

The male lion moved silently, cursing the light that the sun bathed him with. His fur was dark, so dark that it seemed to absorb said light, regardless of the fact, and markings that almost looked like lava dripped down his face, chest, stomach, foreleg, and tail. He was an unpleasant creature to behold, just as he was an unpleasant creature to get to know.

He was juvenile in demeanor, despite being a grown, able-bodied adult, and he was the scorn of his sister, just as he envied her. He was consumed with the want to please his father, yet had a hard time focusing on certain tasks at hand. He was an arrogant p***k with a penchant for trouble, which he aimed to find on this pleasant afternoon.

He was skirting a territory that hew as unfamiliar with, his dark, slightly damp nose drinking in the scents of a multitude of other lions. He was wary of whether or not he should continue this way, in the event that he would bite off more than he could chew, yet he was stubborn in his ways and didn't want to turn back. Stuck at an impasse, he stood and churned over his options.

His dark ears twisted at the sound of a voice, a voice he hadn't expected, and he turned quickly, paws kicking up shale and dirt as his orange eyes sought the owner of the voice. When he did find her, a grin splayed across his already permanently grinning maw. She was a pretty young thing, probably not much younger than himself.

"Ho, now, what's thisssss?"

Despite herself, Coeur had only been mildly aware of the male lion that had approached. She had smelt a new scent and was for the most part unsure of what the meaning of it was. However, she would have never guessed that the lion she had smelt was not more then a couple feet from her.

When the unusually dark male had opened his mouth the young lioness instantly turned herself to him, slightly displaying a sign that she would attack if provoked. Maybe a warning would work? Or maybe this male was simply looking for a place to call home? Realizing this Coeur dropped her attack position some.

"Hello there traveler." Coeur said in a pleasant but still somewhat cautious voice. She had managed to make it through the war her pride was having so far unscratched. She intended to keep it that way. At least, not obtain one from an outsider. "What brings you to these lands?" She further asked. Though, she was certain he would not give her an honest answer one way or the other.Something about this male seemed... Sinister. Then again maybe she was just imagining it.

His orange eyes washed over Coeur and a thin, wry smile slid across his rubbery, black lips at her response to his presence. Wary? Oh, she was right to be, but her standoffish demeanor quickly melted in to one that was polite. How far was the rest of her pride, he couldn't help but to wonder. He'd have to be careful enough on this meeting, though cunning trickery on the spot had never really been his sort of thing.

He wasn't stupid, he was just a slow thinker. He liked to take his time, to dissect information. He didn't quite have that liberty, but he ultimately didn't care too terribly much.

"Greetings." And what did bring him? He couldn't very well answer murder and mayhem, though he had a feeling that such things existed fairly close to here. Maybe not with this pride, but close. Coming from the loins of his father, the God of Hate, seemed to give him some sixth sense for these things.

"I'm afraid I am not quite sure where I am at the moment. Otherwise, simply passing through. Where have my paws taken me?"
