Okay, she was pretty sure she had everything. Ribbon tied Canis Major in one arm and half a brain function..... phone was in pocket so she could worry-wort over that the entire time she was out. It seemed like a solid plan. Skoll and Hati sat on Shehk's bed, watching the Pricolici as she prepared herself for her little outing, the female of the pair keening as the door shut behind the alpha.
Shehk really did feel bad to leave whenever Hati got all Y U NO LOVE US NO MOAR on her about the entire thing. Which...was legit, she guessed. Still, it was an easy cross over to the demon dorms to find where Sammy was. Part of her was surprised the ghoul hadn't been relocated back to the undead dorms since the fiasco a year ago, what with Braum being removed from school and all that stuff.
Never the less, it was nice to have excuses to go over to the demon dorms, pausing as she debated going up to Riley's room real quick, before biting her lip and instead making the trip to Sammy's instead.
The Canis shifted underneath her arm and huffed stubbornly. "Oh hush." she chided as she knocked on the undead ghoul's door.

The bass thrummed between her fingers, bone and flesh plucked at each strand as she continued to practice for the new band. She hadn't slept the night before opting for a night without Siddie to practice straight on through, she was improving even.
It all made for a good way to forget about everything on her mind as she strummed away the bass line to every silly game Siddie loved. Final Nightmares, all the little dating sims, they had lovely bass lines in their themes.
No worrying about why Shehk was so off lately, wondering what the horsemen trials would entail. Though she should get a group together for it, that thought died quickly as she struck another series of cords what should she pl-
Knock knock!
The bass cut short as purple eyes flickered towards the door curiously, who was visiting? Putting the base aside she walked over cracking the door blinking, "S-Shehk? I haven't heard you since the assembly and you've been acting odd and...." she paused, "You didn't take a chunk out of your scalp again did you?" She frowned, she had a full head of hair! No more self inflicted scalp removal!

The second the door was cracked open, there was a small canid looking thing shoved up onto the other Ghoul's face. "Surprise!" she greeted, not exactly answering the questions thrown at her. "I hope this isn't a piece of my skull. I mean, its adorable, but I should have all of my hair still......" Shehk nearly dumped the Canis Major into Sammy's arms before she reached to pat down the top of her head to make sure everything was there.
"Nope, got all my scalp still." she grinned.
"Been busy~ You found a group for the Trials yet?" Shehk asked, tilting her had to one side. "Israfel and I are paired up, but we could always use a couple more helping hands and naturally I thought of you." she beamed, avoiding the 'acting odd' statement altogether.

Okay she wasn't bleeding surprise? OHJACKWTFYAY!
The pricolici was practically dumped into her arms and dragged into a hug as Sammy let out what possibly counted as the most girlish squee she ever gave. It was a puppy. It was a Shehk puppy. It was Shehk Jr. She buried her face in the mini's fur nuzzingly happily at her new pet. "Shehk where did you! Of course it's not your skull and this is way better then a scalp chunk surprise."
She paused, "Though I still love my white streak, every day. Even if you where being crazy when you did it." She nudged the door open wider to let both pricolici into the room placing the new mini down who was instantly swarmed with Scareons poking and pawing at it.
"No actually... I haven't thought about the trials much," she sighed running a hand through her two toned hair. "Last 'trial' or rather 'test' we had with them resulted in singularity and... yeah that has to be worse then death by fire. No it is worse." She moved back to her bed flopping down grinning, "Well I'm glad you thought of me... buuuuut you have to take Siddie too. She want's to get out more.... actually stand up for herself..." she grinned sheepishly. "It's kinda sweet really..."

Nope! Not a bleeding one! Just a Canis Major one that was apparently about to learn to like Scareons a lot. "Just a bit. One of my more dramatic moments, I should hope it doesn't repeat itself. Was just a boil, shouldn't have let it get to me." she shrugged.
Despite the fact that it was actually a boy causing her to be so 'off' as it was.
"Hey, it shouldn't be that bad. It was a coming of age thing for their people, right? Why not show a little bit of support for our newest allies? I mean...it almost seems like it'd be an offense to not at least try or support your classmates." Shehk countered as she sat down on the edge of Sammy's bed, stretching her legs out before flopping back.
"And of course Siddie gets to come along if she'd like. That'd be a nice solid group of four." she added. "Plus the whole 'opt out of exams' thing? That's exciting. I don't like the exams, and I'm almost ready for the Year 3 ones anyways...."

"I think we all have those... I mean I yelled at Siddie once and I regret it now so much considering what really was happening." She shrugged, "It all worked out though for the best and I still have her so it's all okay."
She didn't remark on Jericho, or the rumors. Yet at least. She was very curious about that story and so help Jericho if he was the reason Shehk was being so skitish she was going to have words with the dragon, mindflayer or not if he didn't shape up around Shehk.
"Coming of age sure, could also be like, jumping over black holes and flaming war doom while being rotted inside out from Famine and Jack knows about death." She waved her hand about dramatically, "I mean think about Invictus, imagine someone as powerful going through a 'right of passage' in his family? Craaaazy stuff I bet." She raised a finger tapping Shehk on the nose, "However the supporting allies would be a good idea, or maybe that's just our student councils student relationship ghoul speaking ah?"
The topic shifted back to Siddie and exams and Sammy could only nod, she tugged out her phone punching in a message to the other ghoul before focusing on Shehk again. "I might opt out... not sure if I've take enough classes to have it count as an exam... I'd have to go back and check. Stupid credits and stuff."
"Why can't we just have multiple choice exams.... that would be so much easier..."
Meanwhile a new Canis Major was sitting eye level with Ixxy the two staring long and hard. For now it was a truce. The Canis didn't yet impose on her previously owned area nor had it harmed a scareon. For now the canis was passing. She just needed to keep it up else she get Scareon mobbed.

"I really doubt that. I'm sure it's meant to be fun." Shehk was sure it'd be a pain, but never the less. "And they said you could use it as a credit towards it if you're not prepared. So you can still get the credits you need towards examination first~" the Pricolici explained, laughing a bit as she was teased for being the Student Council's Public Relation representative.
That she was.
"I agree, a Multiple Choice exam would be easier. I took one of those at the Standardized Testing they did and that seemed to turn out well." She hoped. The school was still in place, after all. Even if she wasn't partially nervous about things. "But somehow I like a little bit of struggle in my learning. I mean, when we're out of here, we're getting tossed to the winds, after all. Then we don't have as safe of an environment to learn in. Or meet people in..." there was a half dreamy sigh at this statement...

"Color me pessimistic but when has anything around this school not been bad, explosive, pointy, or dangerous?" She sighed falling backwards to lay out on her bed, bare feet kicking lazily over the edge as they spoke. "I guess the credits would be good either way. Still big things back to back? I might be dead, but I think that's pushing even my limits before breaking."
Even as Shehk laguhed Sammy reached over between them tickling the other ghoul in her side. It was nice to hear her laugh, she had forgotten what Shehk being happy was like lately.
"Yeah I took the physical exam. I did pretty well too, all I had to do was punch a FEAR meter and boom instant A...." She sighed wistfully, "If only year three exams would be that simple. Considering how my last exam was I'll probably end up fighting a hunter or something insane like Jingleberry..."
Rolling over on her side she propped herself up on her left arm, fist against cheek as she watched Shehk sigh happily. "I see your point, but I think they take it a bit far once in a while and it's going to end up going bad eventually." For a moment she paused before sitting up and scooting closer to Shehk.
"I know that sigh." She whispered her eyes narrowed, purple flames flickering behind half lidded eyes, the light pink center focusing on Shehk.
"Someone is sick with Puppy Love again."

Someone's in Puppy Love again
Shehk nearly fell off the bed in response to this, rolling over as she buried her face with something resembling embarrassment. However, she wasn't just playing up an out for future taunting. There may have been a tiny little thing. Maybe. Possibly not. It depended. "Jack, it..it isn't likethatokayf;salfkdsadf..." she half buried her face into the bed, tail barely wagging.
Was she blushing? Maybe?
"I can't explain it at all....." she mumbled, half into her arm as though she was almost ashamed to be in such a situation. Maybe. It was the easier half of her situation. The whole thing with Jericho and Riley it...it was complicated. Not in the fun way for something to be complicated should have been. "It's almost like the second I dropped the torch something happened."

Hammer, meet nail on the head.
Sammy squirmed her way over laying on her stomach now head in hands cocked to the side as Shehk practically spazzed out on her bed at the mention of the situation. "Isn't like that?" Her eyebrow rose ever so slowly arching just right saying everything without even uttering a word Really Shehk? Not Like That?
Oh and never mind the fact she was blushing now and trying to hide her face in the bed, it would have worked better if she grabbed a mini, or a pillow to hide behind but not in this case.
"You should explain. Else your going to go crazy, your acting weird enough, don't tell me it's all because of some stupid boil because I won't have that you know." She shook her head ever so slightly, "I won't tolerate someone hurting you Shehk, not again."

"There isn't anything to explain!" she defended pitifully, frowning but still blushing all the same as she rolled over onto her back and assumed the 'Puppy is rolling over in submission' position. "Nobody is hurting me either! I mean, I'm fine, really! It's nothing...."
She trailed off a bit and her ears drooped as she looked off towards the corner of the room. "If anything, I hurt him." She couldn't imagine that bite on Jericho's neck had been the most pleasant thing for him, but he'd sucked it up like a champ, really. Even if the inside of her mouth had burned for it. Baaaahhh, complications. It had been a fun evening, even if he'd been a bit..nuts....

"There is plenty to explain missy!" She reached over to the rolling puppy poking her side a few times with a boney finger, eyes still narrowed, though not with anger, with worry. Slight creases in her brow exposing just how distressing it was for her to see Shehk like this.
"If no one is hurting you then why have you been acting so odd lately? I haven't seen you since the valentines day dance and you come here out of the blue with a puppy for me. It's almost bribery you know! Using your own kind in mini form to bribe me into not worrying about you."
Suddenly things shifted a bit, she hurt him? Intentionally or accidentally? Was this his retaliation!? "Shehk you gota explain this more to me sweetie..." her voice grew softer, the gravely edge it usually held growing soft around the edges only three people got to hear this voice. Siddie, Shehk, and Ixxy when no one was looking.

"Hey now, that isn't really a Pricolici..it just..looks like one.." Shehk noted, looking to the Canis Major who really did bear a striking resemblance to her.
"He let me feed." she answered as explanation, then touched her own neck. "That's all..." She wasn't sure what else to say, suddenly spazzing and rolling over again making a frustrated noise. Yeah, she was frustrated all over. She wouldn't have called her feelings 'love'. They were more like..... ugh, she didn't know. She was worried about him all the time, that was all.
As if thinking about that right then, she pulled her phone out to see if she had any new messages to suddenly bolt from the room over.
No New Messages from Jericho the screen read and she almost seemed to be pouting at this.

SAmmy scooted across the bed more till she was well within arms reach of Shehk shrugging, "Looks close enough. It's my Shehk away from Shehk now and you can't change that." She pointed towards the Canis Major who was now curled up sleeping with Ixxy on it's back, the two seemed to get along well enough as it was.
"So what you nibble on a guys neck and suddenly your out of the loop? Was he drinking when you did? Are you high off his blood or something? A bite to eat shouldn't make you this... loopy!"
She sighed as Shehk continued with the pathetic puppy whines. Even when she was in her student form she had a knack for making sounds that made Sammy just want to cuddle her to pieces. As such the moment she started pouting the undead ghoul would reach over gingerly removing the phone without even looking at it, tossing it over onto a pillow before dragging Shehk into a full body cuddle hug.
"You dear." She mummbled into Shehk's fluffy ear, "Need to stop worrying about boils, and try to be happy without one for once. You worry too much about them."

"You're not a blood drinker, so you don't know how big of a thing that is." Shehk countered, poking Sammy's nose. "If it was loopiness, it would have worn off by now, anyways." she added, seeming to have a small freakout when her phone was taken away, not even given a chance to grab after it as Sammy pulled her into the hug.
EEEEP.
There was wiggling with protest, but she eventually calmed down, laughing and wagging her tail. Hugs were nice.
"I am happy without him," I think so, anyways "You're just reading too much into things. Really. It's nothing." she insisted. "Even if it was something, I could never mean anything to him, that part of him is already taken by somebody else." she added.
