Group A matches here only!! Quote: Rules!: 1. No Auto-hitting! 2. No God-Moding or Power Play 3. Be fair. Take some hits, no one can make it out unscathed. 4. If you don't post in two days your lose the match. 5. No killing. (Even the Guild members have to follow rules) 6. You only fight against your opponent. Imagine that all the pairing are fighting on separate arenas. 7. Note that using magic does make you tired. No using a dozen fire spells and still feeling great. Remember. You are only fighting the person your character is pitted against. Pretend the other groups are in a different arena, away from you. Begin!

 Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ As Johnny entered the arena, he looked around cautiously. As this was his first fight against another person, he was nervous. He wasn't quite sure who his opponent was as of yet, all he knew is that she was another member of Protega. As such, he was more nervous about the two of them hurting each other than he was about losing. Please don't let it be a girl, please don't let it be a girl, please don't let it be a girl... Standing in the ring, he took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself as he waited for his opponent to join him in the ring.

 Leon N. Mason XA кιℓℓєʀ In me is a killer in уσυ X══════════════ Leon's stride into the area showed was a reflection of his confidence. Cocky, a sort of drunken swagger in his step. Leon had expierence in fighting, he was usually on the run after all. He knew very little though, and this troubled him slightly, but not enough to slow him down. The only information he had, was the same as Johnny. His own opponent was a protega member, and there was even a rumor that he was a very powerful Keyblader. This did not trouble Leon the slightest, in fact he liked the idea of a challenge. "Besides, its not like anyone has died in these games. . . right?" He wondered, stopping in his tracks. "Will I kill someone, an ally no less?" He asked himself, looking down at Silent Heart, than he produced an image of Metal Chocobo into his head. ══════════════ The bitter ѕαdηεѕѕ of someone left αlσηε

XA кιℓℓєʀ In me is a killer in уσυ X══════════════ Leon grunted in interest, seeing his opponent. So this was him? He looked tough enough, and looks can be deceiving. This guy could most likely mop the floor with him if Leon wasn't careful. He grinned happily at his opponent, summoning Metal Chocobo. The dark metal cast a dull light in the sun, making it seem to glow slightly. "Greetings friend. I trust you know the rules? When one is defeated, that is that. Now, let's begin. My Name is Leon." He informed his fellow Protega member. He got into his own stance, as if wielding Silent Heart, which was at his belt in case of any situation requiring another weapon. As far as he could tell, Metal Chocobo was a far superior weapon to Silent Heart. It's weight, the way it's crafted, everything seemed comfortable to him. ══════════════ The bitter ѕαdηεѕѕ of someone left αlσηε

Katherine stepped into the arena, her face blank. She was going to be fighting a fellow Protega member, right? Another keyblade wielder. In a way, this was going to be a good opportunity. It seemed her opponent was already waiting for her. She looked him over, attempting to get an idea of what he may be able to do. As of right now, Katherine probably could have cared less about actually winning this fight. The way she saw it, it was just a friendly match. No harm done. She closed her eyes momentarily, rolling her shoulders and cracking her neck.
Her eyes opened again and she focused her steely gaze on her opponent. She summoned her keyblade and slipped into a battle ready position. Though really, with a name like Fairy Harp, it wasn't very intimidating. "Are you ready to begin?" She asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ Johnny watched as his opponent entered the ring, and upon realizing it was a girl he groaned. "You're a girl..." Looking into her eyes for a moment, he sighed. "Sorry, it's not meant to be insulting, I just...I already suck with girls and I don't want to hurt one. That'll totally ruin any chance I have at getting myself a girlfriend y'know?" Looking her over for a moment, Johnny's eyes widened in sudden fear and realization. "Oh crap! You...you're one of those I went pants-less in front of! Oh man, you must already think I'm some lame idiot who can't do anything right."
Moaning in apparent agony, Johnny readied his keyblade and nodded at her. "Yes, yes, I'm ready. Well, as ready as I'll ever be, considering the circumstances. Do you want to go all out or just...go easy on each other? I'll let you decide okay? I'm still pretty embarrassed about the whole pants issue the other day." Sighing once again, he looked down at the ground for a minute before looking up into her eyes and preparing his keyblade for a defensive maneuver he was sure he'd need. "Let's just try to have fun okay?" The young man put on the best smile he could, though he was actually feeling like crap at the moment due to the circumstances.

"A girlfriend? Seems like there's too much going on for romance to even be an option." She blinked. He was a strange one, wasn't he? The dark haired girl snorted in mild amusement as he began to freak out. She waved her hand and shook her head. "No, I didn't think anything like that." She stated. The corners of her lips twitched upward and she almost smiled. "I just wondered if you were insane, that's all." Yeah, this wasn't a good way to make friends. But it seemed like things were finally getting started.
Katherine tightened her grip in her keyblade, thinking for a moment. "I don't mind, really. Fun works." She nodded. "I thought that's all this was, anyway. Just a friendly match. No hard feelings." She added with a shrug. She wasn't really out to win anyway. If it happened, it happened. In any case, it looked like it was up to her to begin. She spun her keyblade in her hand. She was familiar with weapons similar to this, although they were more like farm tools. Couldn't be any different than swinging around a machete or something like that, right? She tensed and took a deep breath, calming her nerves. "Alright, shall we begin?" She asked before springing into action, swinging her keyblade.

Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ "You know, you're actually kind of swee-wait, holy crap!" Johnny quickly brought up his keyblade to block and felt his arms numbing a bit from the impact of the two blades. Once he could feel again, he shook his arms a few times to make sure they still worked properly. "Wow, you've got some serious force behind your attacks. That's awesome!" Thinking for a moment, he nodded his head and quickly did a leg sweep while thrusting his keyblade towards her chest for a quick blow, not meant to pierce her chest at all. Quote: Johnny performs a leg sweep and a keyblade thrust at the same time!

She allowed a tiny smile to cross her face as he commented on the force behind her blows. "Comes from working on the farm, I guess." She responded. She reacted on instinct, twisting her body to the side. She grimaced slightly as his keyblade grazed her shoulder, only to have the leg sweep connect and send her off balance. She wasn't much of a fighter, but at least she was strong. She twisted again and hit the ground rolling, so that she was back on her feet as quickly as she could manage. She smirked as she rubbed her shoulder. "Not bad." She commented. She took that moment to form a quick plan.
She charged again, twisting as she swung her keyblade. However, right before the keyblade reached him, she twisted to the other side, launching her fist at him. With luck, it would connect somewhere within the torso region. If not, she could always swing back around with her keyblade.

Johnny Kurusel Mandango "No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone." ┈ ━ ═ ☆ ═ ━ ┈ Johnny went to block her keyblade attack, only to realize too late that it was a fake out. Her punch connected solidly with his jaw and knocked him off his feet. When he landed hard on his back, he groaned a bit. "Ouch. Damn you're cool! Ow, hurts to even move my jaw right now." Pushing himself to his feet, he looked at her and rubbed his jaw quietly as he watched her cautiously. "Now that I look at you, you're pretty cute too." He smiled kindly at her and nodded again.
After a brief moment he decided on the best course of action at this moment. "All right, how about we try out a little magic next? Be warned, I'm still a little new at this whole magic thing, so things might go a little crazy. It should all be all right though, right?" Johnny smiled at her again and began chuckling a little nervously. After a moment, he aimed his palms at her and focused his mind, trying to summon forth a fireball. After a moment, he felt like his scalp was burning. Opening his eyes, he glanced up and noticed that smoke was coming from the top of his head. Upon realizing just what had happened, the young man ran around the ring screaming: "My hair's on fire!!!! Oh my God! Help meeeeeee!!!!!!" It didn't help matters any that he had also set small spots in the ring on fire as well in his attempt to cast a Fire spell at his opponent. Quote: Johnny sets his hair on fire and the ring as well! Oopsie!

Again, he threw her off guard. Cute? She was cute? Her eyes widened slightly and her jaw hung open in shock, her cheeks slowly turning pink. She had always thought she had about as much charm as a dead slug, and this guy thought she was cute? She opened and shut her mouth several times, trying to formulate some sort of response. Needless to say, nothing came to mind. She was speechless.
Thankfully, they were soon back on track. Magic...? Oh dear, surely that wasn't going to end well. She remembered his raving about setting his pants on fire. "One can only hope." She stated, moving into a defensive stance. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Then his hair burst into flame. She fought the urge to smack her forehead. She really should have seen that one coming. She watched him run around for a moment, scratching her cheek. Well, this was an interesting development. It was a little amusing, but also a little embarrassing. "Stop, drop, and roll!" She called, remembering the safety lessons from her childhood. However, as soon as the words left her mouth, it began to rain. She stood there, blinking for a few moments. "Well..Looks like someone up there heard you." She stated slowly. She tried not to wrinkle her nose. She had a love-hate relationship with rain. She liked watching it and the sound of it, but when it came to being out in it...No.
"Looks like you're going to need to work on your magic some more." She stated. "Maybe it's best to wait before trying that." Truth be told, she didn't want to have similar results. After all, she hadn't even tried her own magic yet. Still, what were the odds of that rain happening..?

For a moment, he just stared up into the sky, letting the rain pelt his face. Then he lowered his gaze to stare into Katherine's eyes. With a shrug, he just began to laugh. "I guess my hair's okay?" Feeling around on his head, everything seemed to be intact. There were no bald spots, and the charred hair seemed to be okay again. "I don't quite understand what just happened, but I agree that maybe we should hold off on magic until we've been properly trained in the use of such power."
Johnny watched her silently for a moment and just smiled. After a bit, he walked over to her and held his hand over her head. "You don't like the rain do you? I apologize. If you want, you can kick my butt for a while as payback for causing such a thing to happen. I don't really want to hurt you, so I can always just forfeit the fight if you'd like? I'm not too interested in winning if it means hurting a kind person like you." The young man brought her into a warm hug and pat her back softly for a moment before releasing her. "Then again, we can continue to match each other blow for blow until one of us falls unconscious if that's what you'd prefer? Either way, I just want you to have a good time. I'd make the rain stop if I could, but I don't think I can. Instead I've just caused you grief so I do truly apologize." Johnny bowed to her for a while before finally speaking again. "So, did I really see you blush a bit there?" He grinned a little and watched her to see what her reaction might be to everything he said and did. Quote: Johnny makes an offer to forfeit the match or continue the fight. It's up to Katherine to decide.

She stared at him a moment in disbelief. Kind? Was there just no end to the surprises? Of course, they didn't stop there. Now he hugged her. She stiffened, eyes wide. Color blossomed in her cheeks, turning her whole face bright red. She stuttered and stared, completely caught off guard this time. When he let go, she hurriedly shook her head. He was strange. Suddenly hugging her out of the blue? Continually complimenting her? Her sister was the likeable one...wasn't she? On another note, why the heck was she getting so embarrassed by this?!
She coughed and rubbed her face. "I think..we should just keep going until we can't. Call it..practice or something." She muttered, looking down at her feet. She was pretty much praying he hadn't seen the blush. But no such luck. Her face lit up again as she jerked her head up. "I-I wasn't blushing..! I-it was just..um.." Crap. She didn't even have an excuse on hand. She huffed and readied her keyblade again. "J-just for that, I'm not going to go easy on you!"
