[PRP] Livening Up A Dusty Day || Dareia x Aamaal

xxxxxThe stifling heat was nearly visible over the Ukuucha'Wafelme lands. It was a heavy, ever-present heat that never seemed to leave those of the pride alone. Among those targeted by the climate of the land was Dareia, a happy, spunky little girl tumbling about the main area within the pride. She knew, as a young girl in between cubhood and adulthood that she shouldn't much venture off without her father, Sultan Aali's, permission. Being a very obedient and respectful cub, Dareia remained tumbling about in front of various other members of the pride, hoping to relieve herself of the heat by running about, believing that the wind created when she ran would cool her down. The exact opposite happened, she soon discovered. Very quickly Dareia found herself panting, a thin sweat working up underneath her fur.

xxxxxGiving up on that dream, Dareia flopped down onto the dirt ground. She rested her chin on her front paws, lazily flicking her tail back and forth. Since she couldn't escape the heat, it seemed, as it were, she needed a distraction. Glancing about with deep, sapphire eyes Dareia spotted no one immediately around that she could talk to. None of her age were thoughtful enough to stay this close to home, and all those of an older age were busy doing something or speaking to someone else. Dareia sighed, blowing up a cloud of dust and coughing violently when the dust got sucked into her nose on inhalation. 'Could this day get any worse?'

His father was respected amongst the pride. To say the least, he was one of many in his family. All his half siblings were joined as one whole and everything was happy in his home. He just barely started to hear of the world around him, til today when he learned he was different. "Eunuch AAMAAL~~~~" They teased and although he was not the only hybrid to 'taint' the lands. It seemed that the cubs still had a malice to these old teases. Rolling on his side after tumble with them. "Eunuch... I thought I was Aamaal.." He tilted his head then lowered his head. "I'm sorry~" .. Then another push before he was saved by another. Who turned and yelled at him, the other look related but that was besides the point.

He didn't like the constant yelling, he almost rarely heard it in his father's den. Why on the outside was it so... Shaking his head. He loved his home, maybe it was because he was slightly bigger than them? He couldn't ever truly understand.. His paws started to move backwards as the yelling continued and tumbled over whatever was on the ground. Tripping and landing on his back with his long floppy tail draping itself on the 'rock'. "Oww~" "LOOK WHERE YOUR GOING!" The relative didn't seem to happy about whatever he tripped on. "Just get to your den! MAYBE JUST TRY and stop getting in to trouble~!" Then left with a harsh tone of disappointment and even 'useless'.

xxxxxHearing a harsh yelp and an angry response, Dareia's ears pricked. Her head quickly turned, snapping in attention to a large hybrid cub the color of muddled sand. By the look on his face and the way he was hanging his head, Dareia could tell he wasn't having a great day. Then again, she was sure hybrids never had an easy time within the pride. Being the sultan's daughter she was extremely well-versed in the pride's ways, especially for her age, and knew very well that hybrids were often unable to have cubs which made them all but useless in the pride's eyes. As she thought about this, Dareia scrunched up her face; even though this cub could never contribute to the population of the pride, he could certainly still hunt and defend the borders! He certainly had a lot of worth in her eyes, and she decided to let him know that.

xxxxxWithout really thinking and completely forgetting her manners, Dareia shouted "Hey!" at the other cub. She knew there was a title that should be placed somewhere in her super informal greeting, but she didn't want to make the male feel bad by pointing out the fact that he was one of the pride's only eunuchs. Her tail continued swishing back and forth, although more quickly now, as she was rather excited by the idea of making a new friend. Dareia loved nothing more than socializing, and this male presented the perfect opportunity for it. The idea brought a small smile to her face, despite the excruciating heat - not only would she be making a friend, she would also be helping out someone! Nothing could be better than that.

The gently giant cub was all but quiet when the female came up. His huge fluffy tail between his legs. His family was kind, but the outside was a bit harsh, maybe that was why his father tried to keep him inside. His ears fanned back, as he looked up at the girl whom called out. He was 'scared' and lifted his paw over his face before hunching over the other side. His speech was a little raspy and fearful..

"Ah-ah..allo.."

Looking across the way to one of his other den mates trying to get him to go back home. He wished one of his father's Banu were here.. They were much more kinder to him. Though this wouldn't shake what the giant was on the inside.. Not everyone in the pride was like this. THAT he knew for sure but still.. after that rough talk he chirped a bow to the female..

"Your name..? Surely youthful Banu..of beauty..?"

He was trying to be as kind as possible.. He didn't want another run in and ruin his already ruined reputation. His family probably already heard of the fight by now.. He wondered if he should go home. "I'm sorry to have.. disturbed you.. I can leave.. I'm sorry." Curling his fluffy tail around himself as he inched back a few steps and kept his head bowed low to the ground. She looked like someone familiar but if his family heard who he was talking to.. Oh he would be in for it..
