 Beneath the shade of several oak trees, Olivia flitted from flower to flower. On sunny days such as these, it was a favorite past time of hers. Sure she could fly a few feet off of the ground in her full form, but it was never as exhilarating or thrilling as flying around with all of the other bugs. Although she did have to watch out for the occasional bird of prey that sought her as a snack. Typically though, most birds seemed to recognize her for what she was and let her be.
Feeling a little tired, the mare stopped for a rest upon a rather large sun flower. She always did love her flowers, and she knew that helping pollinate them was an important task. Sure there were plenty of other creatures that did that as well, but that didn't mean that she shouldn't. Everyone ought to help out with this sort of thing, the world certainly couldn't take care of itself on it's own. Even if she was only helping the flowers grow, Olivia took pride in the fact that she was able to help at all.

 Aponi was exhausted. He'd finally left his old home, to find a place to start over. This was best after all. How could things change if...he didn't try to change them. How could things be okay if he didn't try to be okay himself? All he had to do was make an effort. He didn't want forget Charlotte, but at the same time being reminded of her every minute wasn't helpful either. He flitted about from flower to flower, drinking in the exotic tastes as he moved about. He felt a bit lighter than earlier as if there was at least some sunshine and warmth in this cold, dark, and cruel world.

Having rested for quite long enough, Olivia stretched herself out and flitted to the next flower. Ah! How she loved sunny days such as these. Days when the cool wind breeze carried her from flower to flower effortlessly. Days where the sun shone down and warmed her back and wings. Days where she was genuinely happy and felt as if life couldn't get much better than this. These were the days that Olvia loved the most. Days such as today.
Not paying much attention to where she was going, the little flutter found herself running headlong into a bee. "Oh my gosh I'm so terribly sorry!" She called out as it buzzed angrily away from her. She strongly suspected that had she been in her full form she would have received a nasty little sting. Luckily, the insects and other creatures seemed to treat her with a different amount of respect while she was in her much smaller form. It was like being an entirely different sort of creature altogether, although she did suppose that that was indeed the case.
Moving along once more, the little mare began to hum to herself as she made her way through the flowers. Once again, she found herself distracted and wasn't quite watching where she was going. Unfortunately, this was a rather common habit of hers.

Aponi laid there with his eyes closed, lost in the darkness and depression of his mind. It was like all the lights were turned off, and the room was dark. It was as if all he had ever really known was silence. The dull sound of thrumming filled his ears. As it grew closer, he could sense it wasn't a thrumming so much as a humming.
What was this sound? What was growing closer to him? He opened his eyes right as something ran smack dab into him and knocked him flying, the breath suddenly gone from his lungs.

Olivia hummed along to herself and smacked strait into something. "Ooof." She grunted as she tried to regain her balance, wings fluttering to keep her aloft. "I'm sorry! I'm so Sorry!" She apologized to the stallion she had managed to bump into. I was just enjoying the weather and well, I wasn't paying attention to be honest. Are you okay? I didn't hurt you did I? Ooooh I'm so clumsy."
She flitted around the stranger, making sure that he hadn't come to any harm. She just wouldn't be able to stand it had she hurt him accidentally. Hopefully he could find it in his heart to forgive her if he had.

Aponi's eyes adjusted as he looked up at her, "I'm okay." He wasn't, but it wasn't through any fault of her own. What was the matter with him was deeper than that. It hurt him to the very level of his heart and soul, nothing so trivial as tripping over him could cause something like that. He was broken, from the inside out.
