She could feel the pulse of life under her hooves as she strolled through the grove, the earth seemed to be throbbing with the life that spring brought, and as it slowly began to thaw the land, she felt giddy with it.
The awakening of the land always made her keen to tour through it and listen to the waking of the plants, of the trees stretching towards the warm rays of the sun. Libby couldnt help but lift her head towards those rays now, and listen to the lovely tune of the birds gathering for their spring nests.
What a beautiful day! She shivered slightly as a cool breeze danced around her hooves and she couldnt help but prance slightly as she hummed a little as she continued to listen to the lovely tune.

 Aras couldn't be happier than he was right now. The sun was shining brightly and that blasted cold season that kept him alone was finally taking its leave. Spring was coming and with it soquili were emerging from the warmth of their homes and were traveling more. His fetlocks were wet from the melting snow, but he didn't care. He was careful about the placement of his hooves as he stepped, not wanting to crush the flowers that were starting to pop up.
A breeze rushed past and he spread his wings out, allowing himself to be pushed forward with it. The breeze carried a sound along with it; the sound of something he was all too familiar with. Humming. He turned around and followed the sound, backtracking. Ahead he spotted a mare and trotted up to her, smiling brightly. "Hello there! It seems like it'll be a wonderful spring, don't you think?"

The sudden appearance of the winged stallion had Libby stepping back for a second, but it there seemed to be no ill or dark presence around him and that put her at ease almost instant, a smile sparkled across her features and she nodded her head.
"Just stunning.." She said in agreement as she eyed him for a moment, from his wings to his little tail, she smiled further as he seemed to be blessed by those both of the air and the earth.
"I'm Libby.." She said with a nod of her head as she pranced carefully in place, the small winged anklet she wore jingled and clinked against itself. "The bird songs just seem to make it all even lovelier.." She said with a nod of her head.

Aras inwardly kicked himself as the mare stepped back. He had a habit of getting over excited at meeting new soquili and frightening them with his sudden appearance. It was a habit he was trying to rectify, slowly. Luckily enough, she seemed to get over her initial shock and relaxed.
"Aras," he replied, giving her his own name. "A pleasure to be in your presence." This was true, Winter had left him alone for the most part, he was grateful for some company.
His ears perked up as he listened to the bird's song. It was true, they were singing quite beautifully today. Probably just as excited about Spring as he was. He replayed their tune in his head before whistling along with them.
