A blank face rested upon the tall and broad stallion as his bloody hooves scrapped against the ground. Light green eyes danced around the shadows as musical whims of sounds whisked their way around the forest. It was silence, a most favored thing by a stallion who was left with nothing but bleeding ears from screaming victims. Though loud, the sounds that echo'd in a killers mind were soothing, helping what once was a mad man become another 'regular' soquili trotting through the forest.
The blood began to dry on the light green hoof as the curly hair male glided in the dark obis of what seemed to be his only sanctuary. A gentle looking stallion, Oliver was nothing of the sort. He was a cold blooded killer, never afraid of anyone, not even a Kalona would change his heart rate nor the blank look upon his face. It was as if at birth, his heart was torn right from his chest and left in his basket to sit and die without another moments noticed. An odd ball to some, a black sheep to others, he was nothing more than himself. An unusual habit, the stallion clicked his tongue loudly as if to see any movements would come of it, though the forest remained his quiet play ground, a stalking area for his next victim. He dragged his front to hooves, shedding them of the quickly drying blood from his last kill off and leaving the remains among the grassy knolls. How he despised this place, full of sweet hearts and easily misguided minds. In a world full of idiots, Oliver was a simple scientist, experimenting on those around him.
How he loved to play his games, his evil twisted games of luring in a female, faking a charm and kindness he truly did not possess. Sometimes, the mare would leave with simply nothing more than a broken heart, other times the would be left with a broken skull. Females were not his only target, he had many times tricked a curious fellow or two into his deadly traps, mares just seemed simply more swayed by him. Perhaps it was his appearance, his curly mane or his so called 'beautiful' colors which created him to seem as innocent as any other flower.
Only one mare was able to keep his eye, his mate and lover, Tundra. Though her voice was screechy and loud, her evil was just as cunning as his. His eyes darted towards the left, a frown growing deeper, at least she let him play his games for as long as he wanted...

A group of tiny butterflies fluttered around the sleeping fluttercorn mare. This was one of those rare times when Nalani decided to sleep away from her normal home near the beach. She had decided to stay in the open meadows where her favorite flowers grew.
The mare slowly opened her eyes, allowing them to get used to the bright sunlight. She could tell that it was one of those days when she was going to feel slightly lazy. Nalani remained on the ground, but eased her head to the side to take a peak out of the tall grass. No one seemed to be in the area at the moment. Her nostrils flared as she snorted in disappointment. It had been a very long time since she made any contact with other soquili. She was beginning to think she was becoming some sort of anti-social freak.

The stallion walked quietly and swiftly, when one was a killer the walked with intent, intent to find another kill, another game, he needed a new pawn in his life anyway. Without Tyler to help him play games on others, he decided the random soquili who let their guard down in his forest were now his new pawns. It was almost like check, right now the boards were evenly stacked, until he found the one he wanted and before they even knew what was to happen to their tiny soul, it was check mate. A frown deepened as he walked, then a halt came to him as he noticed the surroundings around him. Were those, butterflies, usually he saw 2 at the most, but there was an odd amount of them swirling over something with much larger wings.
A cold swirl began in his chest, the tightness, the lust for blood coming back as though he had just not slayed anything before this interesting and quiet 'meeting'. His eyes grew colder as he stood, looking at what the form might be, but casually he began to walk closer, the wings were attached to something brown. His green eyes then picked up on the figure, it was nothing more than a sleeping mare. A chill of pleasure ran up his spine, finally another pawn to keep him excited through out the rest of his day. How fun would it be to report 2 killings in one evening.
Walking closer, his foot steps remained quiet, taking in her appearance he noticed not only her beauty, but her delicious looking wings. Oliver raised a brow, her eyes had just began to open, what pleasant timing. Throwing on his most charming smile, he bound around the mare, his voice coming out as a deep coo, rather unusual for him, "It seems I have found sleeping beauty in the forest." He then decided, instead of kill her now, why not play with his meal a little.

Her heart nearly jumped out of her throat when the stranger startled her. The butterflies that were with her before flew off to a far distance as if terrified by his presence.
Nalani lifted her head and stared at the stallion who smiled down at her with such charm. She blinked several times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. The mare could have sworn there was no one around just mere seconds ago. Still full of confusion, Nalani quickly stood and shook her body of any grass and dirt that clung to her coat. "Good evening, sir. You nearly scared my soul out of my body"

Oliver's teeth began to clench together, she was almost to beautiful of a mare to kill, then he realized what a stupid thought that was. Even this stallion knew that the most beautiful things in the world were the most delicious to eat. His smile remained even though his chest grew tight, his stomach stiffening, and his mind being clouded by judgement to kill. Through all of his inside desires, he could control the outside feelings rather, well, perfectly. Oliver trained himself to never show his true self, until he knew he had the little prey into his trap to far to turn back.
He gave a small pouting face, looking apologetic as he possibly could, his soothing deep voice coming once again, "My apologies my lady, I meant no harm." Looking over her, his plan began to gather even more. She seemed an easy target, one who could be tricked into, almost anything. She was beautiful, with wings of a butterfly, obviously had some kind of horned species in her, she was a unique specimen. How wonderful to have this mare join his rather quickly growing collection. His teacher once said, you must trick the weak, by acting the weakest. Oliver mentally licked his lips, how delightful of a game.
Smiling once more he even added a bow, "I am Oliver Constantine, I again apologize for awakening you. Tell me, what was something so rare and beautiful doing in such a horrible place of the forest with no protector?" And his game had started, and how excited he was.

She smiled innocently at the stallion, "A pleasure meeting you Sir Oliver. I am known as Nalani, but you may call me Lani if it is easier to say." After a moment Nalani stared at him for a bit, trying to register what he had said, clueless as to what he meant. "A protector? Now why would I need one of those. These lands are so peaceful and I rarely encounter others. You are actually the first in many months that I have seen roaming around."
The fluttercorn tilted her head slightly, her bright blue eyes full of curiosity now. "Are you new to these lands? If you are not, please forgive me. It's just that it's been so long since I've seen anyone." Nalani shifted her weight as her eyes suddenly wandered over the stallion. His coat was unique and interesting, something you could only dream up.

Oliver's insides curled in hate, so she wasn't the brightest star shinning in the night was she. He clicked his tongue, a normal sign of his deep thinking, but might seem as an odd quirk to his prey. Smiling wide once again, though it was killing him to do so, he flicked his curly tail just once, "Nalani, a beautiful name for such a beautiful mare." Oliver's voice was low and coo'd more beautifully than an instrument. It was something he had trained himself quickly, wanting to be able to trick the mares and stallions who believed he was nothing more than the charming stallion, who just happened to find them.
He let out a low, soft, laugh, "Yes, my love, a protector. Don't you know Kalona's have been been spotted coming to these exact forests?" His stomach swirled with a cold, icy feeling. How easy was it to lie to another horse, so simple, so fun. He gave a concerned frown, "I must make sure something so beautiful isn't hurt by anything so evil." His swift moves of his hooves danced so he was by her side, his eyes filled with hate and plans, though his smile looking as a prince in a fairy tale once did.
"New to the lands? No, no I have been here many times." He let out another charming laugh and a flashed another smile, "Why have you been so secluded?" An even better reason to end this little ones life.
