"This is just not fair." Ammon said, a slight pouting of his lip apparent. His frustration level was high and his nerves, utterly shot. How hard was it to find one lioness? One of blood relation. Apparently it was like asking for rain in a drought. Sighing loudly --a sound of aggravation escaping with it-- Ammon flicked a small rock with his front right paw. It should not be this hard to find his sister.

As hard as it was for him to fathom her dying as she was probably the smartest lioness he had ever known, it was beginning to get to hard for him to not believe that she was dead. After all after a couple months of searching he was no closer to her trail. Not once had he caught her scent on the wind or landscape, nor had he heard her name through these lands. By males or females. It was then that he mentally cursed his sister for being innocent. Had she been a wayward female he could have easily found her by now.

Shaking his head Ammon closed his eyes. This was no good. No good at all. Sure he was enjoying his travels but he was worried about his sister. It was coming to the point that he could hardly stray from his course to greet others. "All this thinking is going to make my brain explode." Ammon frowned as he sunk into the ground. "Oh woe is me." He said all to dramatically.

The day had begun restlessly, Zuri was met with a morning full of rain and had some troubles keeping clean and dry. She was grumbling on her way away from a den when a small rock interrupted her moment by smacking her square on the nose. She yelped lightly then glared in the direction from which it came.

"Whose there?" She wondered out loud, her eyes settled on a large male lion, a look of distress was firmly planted on his maw and his paws were still in motion. He seemed to be grumbling about some problem of his own and had his heads in the clouds. She pondered to herself about what was on his mind.

"Hello." She muttered without emotion.

Ammon had not noticed that not only had his rock hit someone else but that they had said something before the hello. When his ears caught the sound of a voice he turned his head towards the direction in which it had come. His orange eyes instantly locked on the purple and white female that stood no more then a mere foot or two from him.

A smile quickly came to his maw as he turned his body to face the female. Wow was it his lucky day now. There was a female! And she had talked to him! First! This, this was a good sign. maybe she had heard of his sister! Or maybe she, like him was friendly. He certainly didn't revel his his encounters with those less then friendly type of lions. "Hello!" Ammon replied, still beaming from ear to ear.

"My name is Ammon. It's nice to meet you." He said enthusiastically, not noticing that her tone when she had spoken had showed no emotion whatsoever. "What's your name?" Ammon further asked.

The excitement dripping from the movements and tones of the male were nearly contagious, Zuri found herself smiling again and even managed a small giggle at him. "Someone was lonely?" She teased lightly, for a lion to so quickly give up his name and want hers, he must have spent some time by himself. "My name is Zuri`zola." He seemed so happy, she couldn't take that away, even if she wanted too.

She settled her bottom to the ground and yawned lightly, her energy had been wasted on a bad attitude and she could feel herself quickly calming down. That was when she gave complete notice to his pelt. He was a creamy color, purple faded up his legs and he had simple markings. Zuri smiled appreciating the very fine mix of colors.

He was certainly easy on the eyes. "You seemed so sad before... what happened?" She asked.

The lion's cheeked pinked a bit at her remark. It was true. "Nice to meet you Zuri'zola." He said, still grinning. The it faded to just a slight smile at her next remark as he remembered his thoughts before her arrival. "I was just letting my mind run wild with idea's that it shouldn't." Ammon didn't realize that in that moment she probably could have taken what he had said in a totally different way then he had intended or meant. "I was just thinking about my sister who is somewhere in these lands." He grimaced. "Who I have yet to find. My mind won't let me think pleasant thoughts about her well being." He sighed, his smile once more gone. It seemed that lately he was often depressed over the lack of leads on his sister. Then again, he spend majority of his time all alone so what else was he supposed to think about?

He shook his head and smiled a bit more. "Sorry, I have just spent weeks looking for her without even a single lead in all this time." He paused and decided that he should continue to tell her the truth. It's not like what he would say would hurt him or anything. "I haven't encountered to many other's while in these lands so my mind tends to wander to her and I imagine all sorts of things of how she is; or isn't." Ammon sighed and hung his head a bit, shaking it once more. He didn't want to dampen the mood with his negative thoughts and he most certainly didn't want to chase this female away. "Zuri'zola. Do you have a nickname?" He asked randomly in an attempt to change the subject. His orange eyes peered up into her light blue one's through his mane.
