User Image Caelan wasn't phased in the least about the shift in weather. It had been so nice but now the cold was back for the day. Spring would pop through when it was ready! Most of the butterflies he liked to chase weren't out in the cold, which was a shame, so he would settle for stirring up any other bugs and critters he could find to bound after. There were little to none, but that didn't stop him!
Until a miracle happened! He saw not one.. but TWO butterflies! He was so giddy he could barely contain himself, but he crouched low to sneak up on them. Closer.. little closer... closer still.. Until he pounced!
And collided solidly into another mini like himself, causing them both to tumble over.

Cealdia hadn't known the other was about, no, flowers had kept her mind else where. She had been smelling some and looking at each one. She wasn't sure why they were different, and wanted to figure it out. They were the same type of flower, but one was some how different. And at the moment she figured it out, something heavy fell upon her, knocking her off her feet. "Ouch!" Well it didn't really hurt, it was just her reaction. She kinda rolled to her side to see who had jumped upon her, and when she saw him, she busted into laughter. "A simple hello could have been just as good" she giggled.

Caelan shook his head to shake off the impact and quickly looked around to see where his butterflies had gone. Only to find them attached to his new pixie friend. "Ah I knew it was too good to be true. Finding butterflies in this cold is impossible. Sorry about that! Your pixie flutters look much too real for me." He stood up to shake himself off and skip over to help her, when he saw the flowers she had been examining. "Oooh what are those ones?" Completely forgetting about being a gentleman he leaned over her to do some examining himself.

User ImageShe giggled again. What a silly usdia! Of course, that's what made things more fun. "Well, they are real, just not butterflies." She simply said. "Next time, I'll try to remember not to hide my body so well!" she'd never been mistaken for butterflies before, but there was a first for everything. Then her attention switched as fast as his. "They are just tulips. They are the same, but there's something different about one of them." She said with her eyes going back to them. "I had just figured it out when you landed on me, but now the thought disappeared." She giggled. It must not have been that important. Though, it seemed like it was the only thing that mattered a second ago. "Aren't they pretty?" They were a deep pink, with bits of red here and there.

"Strange to see tulips so early. Must be pretty lucky flowers to bloom ahead of the others. What do you think is different about them?" He snuffled at them a bit and circled around. He wasn't a huge flower expert but he did like to smell and admire them. Especially in spring when there were so many different kinds to find. "I'll try to make sure the butterflies are real butterflies before chasing next time," he chuckled.

She hadn't thought about that, though it wasn't uncommon for a few types of flowers to bloom early, Daffodils did it too. "It just depends on the right temperature for the right amount of time, and they can grow any time." She looked at him then back at the flowers. "It slipped my mind, but It wasn't very important." She giggled at him. "That might help a little bit!" She nodded. "Though, I am sure there's at least some type of butterfly around. If there is flowers, there's gotta be a butterfly, or a bee." Not that bee's were something she enjoyed running into. They hurt. "Maybe we can find one?"

"I doubt it, they're all hiding during the cold. And they're very good hiders! But I still tromp about, hoping for any sign of them! Perhaps we will find some more early bloomed flowers, we should go see what we can find. Wanna come with me?"

"Of course!" She said instantly. If anything to do with flowers, she wanted in. Unless of course, it was destroying them. She couldn't find herself to even nibble on one. Though, she wasn't mad at anyone if they did. Maybe flowers tasted good. She got to her feet and shook off any loose grass that might had tuck to her from the fall. "Where to?" She asked looking about, she loved going places. "We might find some winter flowers in the forest." She suggested before he could answer her first question. She hadn't seen many winter flowers, the forest was too big for her at times and they tended to frighten her during the winter... They just seemed so gloomy and scary, like something out of a scary legend.
