Demons/Creatures/ImmortalsKami-Oni: They are the guardians of the Prophecy children as well as many other mortals and take many forms. They also live off of the life force of that individual. The Kami-Oni can be considered a soul bound demon, as they choose only one person to stay with and to protect. Once that person's life has expired, then they enter a stage of dormancy until that person is reborn. Of course not all are reborn, and when that happens then they take a new form and choose a new person to protect. If they don't choose anyone to protect, they become a single being and a entity that either protects or does harm to the mortal world while taking the form of a mortal as well.
Shifter's: The dogs of the night who hide themselves in human form. They rarely choose a side to be on. Instead most of the time it's whoever the highest bidder is for their type of work. They are werewolves - "half man, half beast" creatures that change mostly at night (however some can shift during the day). Though not all change into a beast form. Some of them have been known to change into a female form or a male form instead of the true werewolf that are known in legends. They are closely related to the shape shifter class; they have a complete human form along with the ability to shift into another full form, and also a demi form or certain characteristic's of their second full form.
Other Creatures/ Immortals: Others creatures include shape shifters, those who can either any animal they desire or take on parts of animals (wings that grow from their back and a snake for a body) or any who can shape shift into a human form but still hold a slight resemblance to their true form. These kind of shape shifters usually have one main form and when they shift, a certain characteristic doesn't change (examples: Eye color). This group also include many types of mythical creatures, and other Immortal being's. Note: Immortal beings can die if suffered extreme mortal wounds (If your head is cut off - your dead.)
GroupsUnderverse: Beings that are completely evil. They wish to aid the Darkness in hopes of being saved from it.
Realm Keeper: These are the beings that don't have boundaries. They can be anything, humans, vampires, magic wielders, creatures of some sort. No matter where they are, or how they live, their genes tell a different story. The relation between them all is basic. They all have come from the same pare which started this bloodline. Now their offspring continue to flourish in every race. Able to cross into different worlds, they are the key's between the doors. they are neither good or bad.
Saviors: They can be of any race, though most of them from realms that have already been destroyed or are to a point of not returning to it's former way of life before of the Darkness.
Elders: The oldest of all the creatures who rules over certain Races and groups even. At one time there were many of them but as the Darkness grew, their numbers dwindled and now only five remain.
HumansChildren of Prophecy: Mortals that were chosen before birth to carry other worldly powers. These selected few either have no recollection that they have these powers, or use them to their full advantage. It had been told that the children of prophecy will either bring the down fall of the mortal world, or save it. It depends on what side the individual chooses.
Man's Solution: Mortals with no powers who actually fight back instead of hiding from the truth. Military, Police, Vigilantes, Gorillas... they have no mercy on those who have entered the mortal world by force. These people want revenge on their loved ones and to protect what the mortals had created instead of denying what is happening they are dealing with it. Even if their numbers grow smaller.
Realm & Important Places Information:All Creatures have their own realm. Whether some reside in there or not is up to them as some find comfort in the human realm such as many Kami-Oni's who mainly reside with humans because of their job status. All other mythical creatures usually reside with in their own races realms though.
The plain at which the humans currently call home to use to not be that way. In fact at one point in time it was a battle field for mythical creatures, but when a treaty was signed to do away with the battle grounds and lock the realms away from each other then that was when the humans claimed the realm as their own. Of course now those who remember such accounts are only the elders of the realms, and the majority of the mortal who now inhabit the realm have come to think that the world is billions years old. Which isn't true, but what they are finding are the last few remnants of the battles and the things that have gotten in the way. The realm it's self is only a couple hundred millions years old.
Realm Hopping: There are two ways to move through the realms either you are a realm keeper ( or elder ) or you use a type of ship called a realm hopper. these ship are powered, owned, and controlled by a realm keeper. to get on a hopper, you must have a boarding pass and planed destination. once on the ship you will be taken to your chosen place.
New Haven:It is the last safe haven on earth, not even the darkness can enter. There is a protective barrier around the city that prevents the use of powers unless you have the proper papers and bracelet, you can also only enter the city with the right papers, personal information and make it through the gates mast the Mercy. New haven has three levels call rings. The outer ring houses the poor people, it is basically the slums or ghetto. Most of the city’s scum live in this area. The middle rings, house the middle class, merchants and market place. Any can enter this section of the city, with proper papers of course. Then there is the center ring, this is were all royals, high class, and high standing people are housed. It take high clearance to enter this level, if you are not of its class.
For those that wish to use their power you must have one of the three types of bracelets that allow you to use your power. The fist type of bracelet is for those that wish to train their power. These bracelets let you use your power, but only in special training grounds. To get this bracelet you must past a basic control test. The second type of bracelet is one for protection. This bracelet allows the wearer to use their power to protect them selves from danger in the city. To obtain it, you must have past a training test to prove you can even use your powers with control. The third type is the artisans bracelet, this is for those who need to use their power are part of their craft for a living. It only works in areas that have been approved by the mercy for its use. To get this bracelet you must past several test of power control, proof of your craft, and specific area in which you wish to use your power.
