I don't eat meat anymore that isn't either certified organic, or at least from a reliable source. Ish more expensive, but oh well. emotion_bigheart

I'm a "part-time vegetarian" I do eat meat, but not often, and not much. I prefer humanely treated animals, there's that new numbered scale certification system that's been very useful in that sense. Applegate's uncured bacon rates a 3 on it, so while its not as good as the whole chickens i get that rate a 5, it's still a decent level.

So that probably has something to do with the cheapness of my meat and produce. Other things though...so expensive. The high-cost of my diet comes from having to eat completely corn-free.
